Sorry a typo on my post. Yes, we don't want people returning who were a serious threat to the security of players or the server. I don't think any players want to play in an environment where bullying/doxxing is commonplace. We don't want that kind of environment, we just want to create a fun server where people can play SCP, enjoy the lore (avg scp lore enjoyer) & meet new friends. Why do people want to ruin that I will never understand.

We are being very lenient on bans, but some will have to remain as some individuals will only rejoin to cause problems. It's easier if people who want a second chance make a unban request, we review that and then unban them. These aren't appeals in the traditional sense as we are fully aware the banned users were banned legitimately, but a ban for Mass RDM or some sort of NH2RP one-off years ago should be given a second chance. Individuals who doxxed or are just not interested in having fun & enjoying the project/servers shouldn't be able to return.

This incident was a accident and alot of mis-commuication on rules followed afterwards. I myself have seen similar situations where some people get punished & others get away just due to the context here. We are making some rules changes to better address this issue & ensure when accidents like this do happen it is easier to resolve. We are also (and its unrelated to this issue, but will help) making some improvements to be able to hold management/staff & players equally accountable for purposeful abuse. This will include anonymous reporting. Management as a whole are always open to reporting but we can understand why some individals would rather report anonymously and avoid any issues that may come along with that. I don't believe this was on purpose and Ausuter is only ever around helping out SWRP where he can as CAT. He has apolgised and pointed out the accidental nature of the issue.

Make has concerning copyright issues relating to it. The author has stolen assets and admits this both on the map desc and commet box. Does not meet our basic requirements for it to be added (We could be Copyright claimed for simply using the map)

A event server will never be used on SWRP. As I've denied these types threads many times in the past. This type of splitting up of players is messy for so many reasons, and causes so many issues that, understandbly players dont' generally see some of the background issues that this can cause. -Mismatching of server files -Minor fixes/updates have to be applied to a second server in sync -Splitting up player bases doesn't benefit the main server. We must ALWAYS be leading in our respective fields, because if we aren't somebody else will. Not even a egotistical statement, its simply logically and logistically true. -DRM issues.

This disconnection is not server-side. Most likely the client buffer is being overloaded (I'm assuming the last video is a event). Myself, Jack and worm are working on these issues. Primairly its the fault of the engine. Some players see this issue on our nazi rp at high peak, its just the source engine is wholly not fitted for type of operations we are forcing clients to run. SCP Roleplay May Update, GOI/Major roleplay improvements/Content & Additional Fixes IP: 208.103.169.212:27015 This update is mainly focused on overhauling the surface, but Foundation will also get some updates too. These changes include: Three new GOIs: Sarkic Cults - Mors Deus - A new incarnation of the popular Sarkic Cults GOI lead by Joshy Freeman. Church of the Broken God - A familiar GOI for long term players revamped with lots of new features, lead by Joseph Stalin. The Chicago Spirit - A Mafia styled GOI that will replace MC&D. It specialises in selling Drugs, Anomalous Entities and Weapons. Will be led by Fors and Roger Carter. Added to this, both CotBG and Chicago Spirit will have a Job for players to experience without needing a whitelist. More Surface Jobs. To further build on the previous PD updates, we have decided to liven up the surface even more with the addition of 3 new Specialised jobs: Drug Dealer will make use of the new Drug addon being added alongside Chicago Spirit and will give the Police more criminals to fight. Casino Owner will make use of a new slot machine addon and will give players more chances to make money. A new MTF Squad Beta-7 Maz-Hatters will be added as a replacement for both the Hazmat and Containment Specialist jobs.
