  1. +1 / neutral pretty sure Jedi don’t actually get blaster training so it’s kinda against the lore of it.
    I can understand where this comes from when playing EC and facing a Jedi it can be really tedious to fight.

    The best approach to keep people happy is probably for aces to either stay in the GR with CE or to stay at the back lines on barricades.

    It might be hard to enforce thus however.

    Any additional information: Not sure if this happens to anybody else but when playing as say like  normal mercenary or bountry hunter the duel pistols dont always work. They'll be bugged at first so i cant actually shoot with them. Dropping them and picking them up sometimes works but the amount of times you die in events this can get really tedious. This might just be an isolated incident to me but EP's always give out extra weapons anyway, i just think it would be pretty cool if EC's got better guns at the start so that 1. They dont have to pester EP's about it and 2. It can make the overall experience more enjoyable as an EC

  3. +1 Think I was one of the CE there if i remember correctly, this was completely accidental and stuff like this does happen from time to time with how the mechanics work in GMOD probably should get removed

    Event Plan:

    Map: Anaxes

    Clone Story / Execution:
    Currently Anaxes is struggling with the continued onslaught of bombing and destruction on the planet caused but continued CIS attacks on ship building facilities. The population of the planet whilst still holds some love for the Republic has seen them to be weak and inefficient in their fight against the CIS and are tired of constantly being under attack. In an effort to try and salvage the relationship left the Anaxes leadership has decided to invite both CIS and Republic delegations to talks of a cease fire. The tactical droid makes it clear that a cease fire will only be available if Anaxes leadership orders the Republic the leave and they join the CIS. Unsure about whether the Republic can keep their citizens safe they ask for a demonstration of each sides ability in combat.

    This then sets up to be an attack set up by the CIS against the Anaxes base. A small passive base RP will then begin with the Republic bringing in extra supplies to help with the incoming attack. Within these supplies Commando droids have been secretly smuggled in to key areas such as the Brig and the GR. Preparations can be made for the frontal attack with DU setting up barricades in MHB, GC getting to elevated positions. As the base attack begins it is clear the CIS will not be playing fairly during the engagement and brings 2 munificents into low orbit. 212th are tasked with setting up triple cannons to engage whilst CE will be engaged with a vulture droid. GC will be needed to try and find the sources of the droids entering from inside the base. After a short while these droids will have been dealt with leading many to believe it was too easy. This is true as some commando droids were rigged to explode and also rigged with toxic gas. The explosions blow up the GR and also the LHB allowing more droids to enter and attack the base. (There is potential for this part to become a short last stand to increase droids numbers and make it seam more realistic but I am unsure as of yet, these would be changed back after about 10 mins).

    After continued fighting the Republic eventually pushes back the CIS with heavy casualties, Battalion would then be invited back to the discussions where Anaxes leadership would stay loyal to the Republic. Angered by the news the CIS unleash a Hyena Bomber over the civilian camp near the base as an act of revenge but will be shot down by an ARC 170 before reaching its target.


    Enemies, HP, Amount: 8 - 10 Commando Droids, 6 B1 Droids and a Sniper Droid dependent on the amount of GC online at the time, 1 Pilot Droid.

    Jedi Story / Execution:

    With all the death a destruction on the planet a force sensitive has made his way to the Jedi temple on Anaxes believing the Jedi the ones responsible for the destruction and murder of his town and family. When entering the tempo he’s is filled with rage and is set on enacting vengeance upon them. Jedi then begin to start a discussion to understand the situation better when dark acolytes begin to enter the temple attempting to entice him to the dark side. Negotiating or fighting the decision is upto the Jedi and EC how to approach the situation the main aim and issue to resolve it which faction the force sensitive will choose.

    Do you understand the responseabilties a event-planner has? If so, what are they?: Event planners must be able to create exceptional events for the community in which they are both lore friendly and entertaining. It is also the responsibility to maintain a certain amount of events per week and also take charge of others should other event planners not be able to create one.

  6. Would be pretty cool if events had a continuous story for the most part keeping them short so across 4 to 5 events but having something cohesive can keep people engaged. 
     

    might be difficult with the limited map selection but if each event planner had their own mini arcs it would keep people engaged and sway away from some events feeling repetitive. Also if done correctly everyone can feel involved as opposed to the stand alone events in which only certain regiments get key actions within the RP narrative.

    just a suggestion so would love others opinions on it to improve or even say why it wouldn’t work
