Steam Name + Profile link: BigGinger: https://steamcommunity.com/id/BigGinger/

Roleplay Name (e.g. GM TRP Johan / Jedi Padawan Ngannou): Jedi Warlock Ginger

    Teamspeak Name: BigGinger

Playtime on the Server:  2mo 4w

    SteamID (http://steamidfinder.com/): STEAM_0:1:121415491

Any experience in staffing on a roleplay server: Yes. I was staff and event planner on the server (granted they were only for a few days maximum, but experience is experience.

    Current Age: 21

Warns/Bans (Screenshot required):  I'm open and comfortable to explain this if it is a massive issue. But I assure whoever is reading that it was an out of character moment in a casual environment where I fully understood what I did wrong.
    image.png?ex=6643b948&is=664267c8&hm=10e813867a1e1deb8585832bec273064f1e5601389ed7f2d0f728ae4e8eef87a&

Do you have a working microphone and is it understandable?: Yes

Have you ever hosted an event before?: Yes

What was your event and was it successfully executed?: Base attacks, planetary events and Jedi events. (Struggled on the Jedi but I believe the base attack and planetary event went well.

Do you understand the responsibilities an event-planner has? If so, what are they?: An event planner has to plan, host, announce and direct an event in the server via managing the story behind the event, Event character health, weapons and spawns and ensuring that not only do the ECs enjoy the event, but also that the Jedi find enjoyment too.

Do you understand at the beginning of passing the application stage, you will have to undergo a training phase until completely trusted to create and host events?: I do understand.

    Jedi Event Plan:

Story for your event: Two brothers, trained in the Dark Side are causing a disturbance in a local town with their barbaric fighting. One is stern and obsessed with power while the other is laidback and carefree, but are both obsessed with beating their brother.

Event Announcement for your story: Blood runs deep, but the Dark Side runs deeper and two brothers are using their dastardly Sith teachings in a battle to the death. While less Sith is usually a good thing, their fighting isn't popular among the masses, and is causing a ruckus. Head over there and quell this brotherly spat before their fight destroys all in their path.

Choice of map: Mos Mesric would be ideal due to the town setting. But Coruscant below or Denon work too.

Additional Characters: None required. Only 2 Sith ECs
(eg. passive char or burner EC)

Jedi's outline and execution: The Jedi feel a large tension in the force and see two Sith fighting. It's difficult to approach due to the power being thrown around. They have the choice to either pacify the sith through negotiations or they need to defeat them, however if they choose to fight, the sith will work together.

Jedi Event Character outline and execution: Two sith are fighting full force, they're only somewhat stopped when Jedi introduce themselves and must be convinced to stop fighting or be defeated by the Jedi in order for the event to end. (being convinced to leave can either be due to an enticing negotiation or through successful purification.)

Anything else?:  Lets see if I last more than a week ay?

Roleplay Name (e.g. GM TRP Johan / Jedi Padawan Ngannou): Battalion Brigadier Ginger

    SteamID (http://steamidfinder.com/): STEAM_0:1:121415491

Any experience in staffing on a roleplay server: I have a very small amount of staffing on CWRP, it was barely a day but I learned the ropes of staff

    Current Age: 20

    Warns/Bans:
    https://imgur.com/qOtEGYy

Do you have a working microphone and is it understandable?: Yes to both

Have you ever done an Event Before?: No

What was your event and was it successfully executed?: N/A

Do you understand the responsibilities an event planner has? If so, what are they?: An EPs responsibility is to professionally conduct events in-game that everyone can enjoy. They should use the permissions they are given to manage the events they come up with to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible while making sure that the event characters have their reasonable requests given to keep enjoyment levels high. They are not to abuse these permissions, as well as their access to ULX as EPs need to be given trust through actions.

Furthermore, they must help out their fellow EPs, for example, if an EP requires a co-lead for their event, you are to assist them where possible but not take over and pass it off as your event.

Do you understand at the beginning of passing the application stage, you will have to undergo a training phase until completely trusted to create and host events?: I understand completely

    Clone Event Plan:

Create an event plan for clones, Event announcement, What type of enemies will be encountered. Keep in mind this will be used for your first training event. Make it easy to understand, be original and be creative(Use the Template):

Story for your event: A band of criminals have infiltrated the base, and the republic must locate them before they run off with supplies.

Event Announcement for your story: Trespassers! They've come for your supplies and will deplete your resources if left unchecked. Quickly, join the fight against these thieves so you can put those precious republic resources back to where they should be!

Choice of map: Rishi Moon (The mountainous area around main base can be used to great effect for ECs to get into high clearance areas undetected to allow the event to start)

Type of enemies/faction, Why them in particular?: Cartel. This event is about stealth and invading an unsuspecting army that is currently dealing with a war, makes sense that pirates would try to profit from it to steal supplies and weapons to fuel their own criminal agenda.
    (eg. Pirates, Reason, )

Additional Characters: Myself or Co-lead could act as a comms channel to direct the ECs on where to go, making it feel like a spy mission.
    (eg. passive character)

Republic's outline and execution: The pirates accidentally trip an alarm in a high clearance level area and the Battalion will order their troops to that location.
(e.g. "- Battalion inform all troops that an unknown ship has entered orbit.")

Event Character outline and execution: The pirates will sneak into the base from the mountains and proceed to admiralty offices, after tripping an alarm after hacking a chosen admirals datapad, they will barricade themselves in the office, lace it with explosives and immediately begin fighting. After fighting ceases (when the event timer is up, the pirates will plead for surrender and lie to interrogators about their intention, saying they are poor and homeless when in fact they are just greedy and wanted to exploit the republic's war effort.
(e.g. "- All Bounty Hunters are dropped off at the caves, they will stay there until further notice")

    Jedi Event Plan:

Create a Jedi event BASED upon one of the following P-EC scenarios below

    - Grey Jedi Teidowan who prevented the Jedi order from stopping the genocide of a village. The Grey Jedi now must be redeemed by the Jedi order. Write an event plan on how the Grey Jedi would be redeemed

    - Sith Apprentice who seeks to resurrect its master with a dark ritual after he was slain by the Jedi. The ritual required sacrifices of multiple lifeforms. Write an event plan on how the Sith could perform said ritual

    - Mercenary Guerilla wanted by the republic for multiple murderers has been hired by a wealthy client. After a high-ranking Jedi within the order captured the wealthy client previously, now he is hungry for revenge. Write an event plan so that the Mercenary can kidnap the high-ranking Jedi

Story for your event BASED on the option: An uncharacteristically violent Grey Jedi Maenowan and his Teidowan protest against the Jedi, discussing the differences in their order and how it benefits them and how others should abandon the jedi order for what they deem is "True peace". The Maenowan becomes increasingly agitated and eventually attacks, with the Teidowan reluctantly following behind him. Eventually, the Teidowan surrenders and pleads for redemption, after watching the Maenowan be cut down for his violent outburst.

Event Announcement for your story: Not everyone agrees with the Jedi's way of thinking, and two members of the Grey Jedi order have come to recruit for what they believe is the better way of living. Prove to them that only through the light can salvation for the galaxy be found. Make sure you hold your duties and responsibilities close, you never know how violent someone can get when proven wrong.

Additional Characters: A second grey jedi to act as the elder of the two (as stated before). Perhaps some summons like infected ECs to showcase the elder's power more.
(eg. passive char or burner EC)

Jedi's outline and execution: The Jedi sit with the seemingly peaceful grey Jedi down and they discuss their respective orders and values, eventually, the Jedi will be engaged and the fighting starts. Once the fighting ends, they will have a brief discussion with the Teidowan before the Teidowan willingly goes to jail for his part in attacking the order
(e.g. "- Jedi finds a camp of slaughtered civilians  .")

Jedi Event Character outlines and execution: Grey Jedi will march up to the Jedi Temple and request an audience with the leading Jedi and their masters, they will have a discussion on the Grey Jedi, and how they may have a bad impression but they want to recruit young recruits. After the Jedi continue to refuse, the Maenowan/most experienced grey Jedi will engage and the Teidowan/less experienced will follow behind, but the latter will eventually surrender after the former is slain.
(e.g. "- Sith has sent an emissary to lure the Jedi into an ambush")

    Last question:

Anything else?: Thank you for taking the time to read my application. Please do leave your comments below, it makes me feel more confident about this whole process when you do.

  3. In-game name(s): Ginger

    Steam Name: BigGinger

    Steam ID: (https://steamidfinder.com/): STEAM_0:1:121415491

    Age when applying: 20

What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: England (Time zone: GMT)

Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes to both

    Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 1mo 2w 3d 38m

IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: Battalion LT Colonel, Platinum VIP

Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I do have a microphone. I switch between typing and speaking depending on the background noise

When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since:  12/02/2022 was the date I joined the CWRP server as it was my training day. I did take a break for a couple of months after my resignation on the  02/07/2022. But that's it.

How often do you use our TeamSpeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I use TS and Discord very often, practically daily. The forums I don't talk a lot in them

State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): https://imgur.com/a/F8gkynb

I have no history of OOC bans, kicks or anything similar.

State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff is to enforce the in game, discord and TeamSpeak rules and to sort out any other OOC issues, like assisting in the construction of trainings (setting spawns for simulation jobs, giving weapons, setting HP) and ensuring new players get trained and whitelisted.

Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I am familiar with the server rules.

List of all previous server staff experience: I have no previous server staff experience.

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I understand

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: Ask for a name then noclip to the player in question, investigate and if the player is RDMing clones, freeze the player so he stops, then warn him for RDM. Then Unfreeze him so he can be sent so he can be dealt with by Clone Guard and serve his brig time.

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: Either inform a Battalion Player to send a trainer or say in OOC chat that cadets need training. If the cadet still asks for training and nobody is responding, I'd go up to a random NCO that is free and say cadets need training, making sure they go there.

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I'd pull the CT aside and let him tell his side of the story. I'd give him a verbal warning to be more careful then send him back to quietly re-join the debrief.

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: This isn't anything that goes against Game rules, so I would do nothing .

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules: I'd calmly explain that not all examples of FailRP are listed in the given rules and that it boils down to common sense. If I believe this certain instance of FailRP is disruptive enough to warrant certain punishments like a warn or kick, I'd do so. If I was unsure, I'd consult other staff members for advice.

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I'd hear out why they believe this punishment isn't warranted, but if I feel like they're just arguing for the sake of it, or their reason isn't good enough, I'd explain why they've been punished calmly and in a respectful manner.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

Let me start off by saying I am completely aware that other applicants may have more experience than I do, especially when it comes to server time. But I believe what I've achieved speaks for how I've managed to change original opinions about me. Because of this, I consider myself a very well respected member of the community who can thrive in Staff if given the opportunity.

I'd consider my greatest attributes are my adaptability and down to earth way of speaking with others, but be rest assured that just because I'm "down to earth" does not mean I'm incapable of enforcing the rules of the server and being serious when needed.

I'd also like to point out my IC roles being a clear indication of how I handle roles that require a lot of responsibility. Being a member of Battalion, I've got a lot of power over how things work in the server, not much, but I'd say it's enough to let it be known that from my knowledge, I've had no complaints on how I handle myself in the role.

If I were to be given staff, I'd always give my one hundred percent to ensure the server is the best it can possibly be, with the disturbances of those who cannot follow the rules kept the a minimum and ensuring everything is very much running like the well oiled machine it can be.

While I may not have much knowledge of commands or ULX, I can assure whoever my mentor should be if I get the role that I will take as many notes as I can to learn, continue to practice and prove just how adaptable to new roles I can be.

Thanks to all those who read this application!

  4. +1

While I can't deny, I still have my concerns about you potentially leaving, I can't lie and say I'm not impressed by your dedication and improvements, both of which I've seen.

While I'm not sure on how Batt Command feels with you, I feel like you should be given a chance and can't wait to see how you if you get accepted.

    Best of luck regardless, Preence.

  5. +1/neutral

Previous batt, worked alongside him and he put in the effort.

Was clearly dedicated before and was forced to resign from forces beyond his control

I have to wonder if these "forces" will crop up again, forcing another resignation.

Regardless of my one neutral point, I'd love to see you reclaim your seat at Battalion, you truly deserve it Pending and I wish you the best of luck

  6. MASSIVE +1

I've personally experienced Battalion alongside Phantom and can confidently say that his performance was incredible. He was respectful, lead well, creative and dedicated. If he has the time to play, he should be given the chance to do so.

Although he doesn't meet the rank requirement currently. I personally believe an exception can be made for somebody who knows Battalion already. However, that is not my decision to make.

Best of luck to you, Can't wait to hopefully see you in Battalion once more.

  7. Neutral/-1

Pros: Solid playtime and as the current supervisor for 41st, I know you to be a decent guy.

Cons: Sadly, your vast amount of warns cannot be ignored, some of which are very resent. Because of that, it makes other comments in your application very doubtful.

To me also, the application seems pretty rushed due to several spelling and grammatical errors.

In all honesty, I'd love to see you in Batt, as I believe everyone should be given a chance, but I just can't +1 this application and you may likely be denied this time around.

    But best of luck regardless.

  8. +1

Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of Battalion as a whole, as demonstrated by a very well written application.

Very approachable in the interactions we've had, and is fun to laugh with

Although I haven't had the chance to watch how you act in game much, I hear from others that you've quite capable. Would love to see you get the chance in Battalion

    Best of luck to you.

  9. -1

I don't feel like listing as my issues from before still remain, so I'll just state my issues in a paragraph.

From what I've seen and heard, not much has changed since your last application, plus more have risen according to other replies. But perhaps the most egregious error is that you still don't meet the requirements to join Battalion, even after being told multiple times on your first application that you don't and yet you've applied once more.

Sadly, this will likely lead to another denial, but take it as a chance to truly prove to others why you deserve a role, and come back later, anyone can get a redemption arc after all.

Best of luck on your future RP endeavours.

  10. -1

    Cons:

    • Sadly, you've become rather infamous for jumping between regiments and don't appear to be able to commit. Makes me wonder how long you'd stay in Batt.
    • Application has several key faults in it, including some grammatical errors.

    Pros:

    • You are a great guy with good play time. With some fine tuning I believe you could make it.

Overall, I know you quite well and I do believe you have what it takes. You just need to show to me and others how committed you are. You'll likely be denied this time around, but prove just how willing you are to the role and I think you could go far.

    Good luck regardless, Preence.

    Age (Must be 14+): 19

What is your playtime (2+ Weeks Minimum): 1mo 16h 16m

Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yes to both

Have you read through the Battalion Handbook, and extending documents from it: I have

Do you meet the requirements: I do

State all previous OOC punishment (Kicks, Bans and Warnings | Including Discord / Team Speak) and provide a screenshot of your list of warnings (Go in-game and do !warns) then provide a screenshot:  I have had no kicks, bans or warnings of any sort.  https://imgur.com/a/gfrJAyB

    In Character Section (IC) -

In-Game name (Regiment, Rank then your name): CT #### Ginger

Highest rank obtained (Including previous): Battalion Captain, CG Colonel, Jedi Knight, 104th CPL, 501st PVT

Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment (If so explain the reason): I was striked once in CG for minor EQ abuse. But that was a while ago

What is the Battalion Motto: Lead your men to death. Honour is better than surrender

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum):

Battalion members are responsible for leading the republic base and keeping everything orderly. They watch over the base as a whole and make sure all troops are doing as told, following orders, as well as granting various permissions such as personal flight training take-offs and landings, claiming of training rooms, etc. Battalion members are also in charge of leading the Grand Army of the Republic through their defences on base when attacked by enemy forces or when attacking the enemy off-world. Battalion members will also be assigned to a regiment to supervise, where they will work with the regiment's hierarchy to conduct training with the regiment or act as temporary hierarchy should the regiment require it.

Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum):

I've been Battalion before, so I understand what the regiment does as a whole and how to conduct myself. I have all the experience required to be successful in Battalion and can ease my way back into the role with no problem.

Although it has been a while since my last resignation from Battalion (which I left originally due to various circumstances IRL, which required me to drop the role) I have found more compromises and am able to use a lot more of my time to the regiment. While my activity may not be what it once was, I plan to make the most out of the time I have and dedicate myself to upholding Battalion's high standards and working with whatever regiment I am assigned to so that they can remain orderly and professional, a task in which I personally don't believe will be difficult.

My main priority will be keeping my friendly, welcoming self on display at all times so others don't feel like I am abusing the power I have or seeing Battalion as a power-abusing job.

A final note will be that nothing I've gained in Batt or advertised before has dropped, and all of it is a firmly planted memory that I promise will be able to shine through again, should I get the role.

Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank? I understand completely.

What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail):  A Battalion not in combat should stay out of the front lines and work with their regiment that they are supervising, using their equipment to assist in combat. They should not take command of the regiment and simply work as a member.

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted?

    Lead a base attack successfully

     Lead a planetary successfully

Conduct an open training to a high standard

What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up too: Captain or below

Anything else?: I understand I'm not Major+ currently, but if required at this stage. I'm more than happy to get back to that rank.
