When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: January 13th 2022 and I've taken around 3-4 short LOA's.

 

How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I use them all very frequently.

 

State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) The warns shown say they were made on the 22/07/22 which is because of the updated system but I believe the real dates were early February.

 

State the role of staff on the server: 

The role and responsibilities of staff on the server are to deal with OOC issues and to make sure people are following the server rules accordingly whilst helping those who need help. They have to put In a lot of effort to keep the server looking smooth and have to be professional at all times.

 

Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes I'm very familiar with the server rules.

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes I understand this.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: 

I'd check the logs to see if its true. If it's true then I'd bring the player to a secluded location and explain what rule they have broken. Then I'd give the appropriate warn based on how many players were killed by the player in question.

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

I'd take the claim and go to the cadet. Once I'm there I'd ask using the OOC chat If someone is able to train them. If no response is given I'd TP an appropriate player to train them. If there is not an appropriate player to train them then I'd train the cadet myself.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

Its accidental so I'd let it be dealt In character via punishment. If it happened more than once then I'd show the CT how to properly safety their weapon. 

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

I'd just remind them that its something they technically should be doing since its Fail RP if not but I wouldn't take it any further. If they need help with knowing when to salute and when not to then I would help them.

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules:

I'd inform the person that not every instance of Fail RP can be stated within the server rules but what they did was still considered Fail RP. If the individual has already been verbally warned then I'd give them a warning for Fail RP. If they still disagree then I'd ask for a more senior member of staffs opinion.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I'd explain my rational behind the punishment and then If there is a more senior member of staff I would ask them to give their opinion on the matter. If the senior member of staff agrees than I would inform them that if they still think that way, they can make a complaint on the forums.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

I'd like to do more than just play on the server. To be part of staff would be a great opportunity and way to gain experience within the community for me and I would enjoy being part of the staff team that currently is. I believe I am trusted In the community after holding relatively high ranks on the server and playing for over half a year. I have nothing to do so I can put a lot of my free time into helping the server when needed and will do. 

I will bring dedication and effort whilst being mature and calm In every scenario I could potentially face. I can also be serious when needed whilst also being able to take a joke. I think I'm a pretty competent person and would be able to fill the roles needed from a staff member within the server. I am always active on the server and tend to be up until the early hours of the morning meaning I can help when others may not be able to. I have never and never will show any signs of bias towards a certain person but I am very understanding and always fair. I've always tried to be as appropriate as I can when dealing with situations In game with anyone and have always tried to leave a good impression on everyone.

I have never been demoted/striked from any position I held or currently hold. I am always mature In and out of character and have spent quite a lot of time surrounded by people who are experienced and know what they are doing. Although I have no previous staff experience, I don't believe this should stop me from having a chance at obtaining a position in the server as staff because I am eager to learn and would not take the opportunity for granted.

Tasker you're a mature guy and would make a good staff member. The issue I have is that you have had a lot of ambitions going for different IC positions and it makes me question your commitment. You wanted ARC and went Hierarchy instead, You applied for Batt, then applied for EP twice (?). Putting yourself out there is good and shows you want to go for things but to me it doesn't really show me you can stay in one place for very long.

Thanks for the comment, I understand this to be honest. To clear it up though hierarchy was my plan B after ARC since it was something I've always wanted to get but I see what you mean. Applying for EP twice is wrong but I think you mean staff. On both apps I closed them because I realised that Im way more committed to this server and frankly, enjoy it a lot more because of the people.

My only issues are that you don't seem too committed to one place. I agree with what vengeance said. You also hold a decent IRP rank however I don't think that's a big issue as I know people who hold ranks on both and balance it fine.

Disclaimer: Since there are extremely limited spots in staff with many many people applying I will be completely honest and judging/responding not only based off if I believe you will be a capable staff member but are you better suited to be a staff member compared to the other 40 people that applied, so don't take any of this to heart. I think you are a solid choice and more than capable to be a good staff member

The App was really good and you clearly put in effort.

I have to be really critical this go around because of the sheer applicants, but I feel that you haven't presented yourself to be the most mature person on the sever which I know you can be mature I just haven't seen you show yourself to be that much at least from my perspective. Honestly isn't a big deal just comparing it to every other applicant it is noticeable.
