 I use the discord and TS everyday however the forums mainly for checking on Battalion Applications however i am aware staff should check the forums quite frequently and am willing to do so if i receive the role

Warn was not give on the 22/07/2022 this was when it was all updated 

 

State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff on the server is to ensure that the rules are followed and if they are not punishment is given out they are the guardians of the server

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: i understand this yes as if ive done something wrong it needs to punished no matter my rank IC or OOC

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: i would do !blogs and look for deaths caused by the reported player if its found they have killed people i would pull them into a sit explain the situation and warn them for RDM/MRDM depending on many people they killed and ban if necessary 

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: i would first go to a Battalion Member and ask them send a trainer if no one turns up i would type in OOC // Need a cadet trainer someone go or i'll randomly tp someone to do it

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: i would do nothing it was an accident and if action would be taken it would be in IC 

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

 Inform them they should Salute 2nd LT+ however personally it's not that big of an issue to i would often just leave it (this should always be dealt with IC) 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: i would point to rule 1.5.1 (Not all situations would be specifically stated and it's down to common sense and for no listed situations it’s for the staff to decide) however i would also say if they have an issue or wish to appeal they may do so on the forums and i would send them the link and direct them to the section they need 

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would direct them to the forums and say if they wish to fight the warn/ban they can do so there if and direct them to the section they need

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):
I am a previous event planner which sets me ahead from some applicants with knowing the commands and what they should be used for (!... ^ * @)

Due to my previous work as EP and hafting to deal with Sits and such in the early mornings or if i see it first hand i have learned the staff guidelines from the sheet and speaking with staff which makes me a strong potential staff member due to already knowing how to deal with situations and how staff should properly act in sits and when dealing with situations

I'm a very active member in the community being on most days of the week in those early hours when other staff may not be online is a big point for activity as it allows me to pick up the weaker areas that staff have 

Since my last Application i have become a better person and more mature and my behaviour has improved overall

Although i am currently in school the course i'm doing gives me the time (i'm only in 3 days from 11am - 4pm) to continue to play and be active which allows me to guarantee i will not being going anywhere anytime soon

I am a very chill and understanding person it takes a fair amount to get me angry or annoyed this allows me to not care for peoples opinions on me which i believe is good for a staff member due to some of the abuse they may receive for decisions or during sits

The Application:

• Pros:
  • You have a decent play time, been here long enough to know the ins and outs of how the server is managed 
  • You have attainted a high IC rank - this shows that you already are in a position that holds a substantial degree of power
  • You have previously been an Event Planner, so you are familiar with ULX/SAM
• Cons:
  • Several grammatical and spelling errors which take away from the professionalism of this application
  • Your answer to 'Why you deserve staff more than others' is generic and does not show me that you are above any of the other candidates - most applicants will be active members of the community, and anyone can say they are 'chill' and 'understanding' etc. You do not really stand out.
  • You have a warning for RDM

  • You are indeed a very active player
  • You can be competent sometimes, definitely more so recently
  • I get on well with you
• Cons:
  • You have a tendency to be immature
  • In the past you have demonstrated outstanding incompetence
  • The community is very split with you, I personally believe that to be a good staff member you need to be respected
  • You have been demoted and striked in Battalion before - this does not set a good example
  • You resigned from Event Planner because of school, which you are still at... what has changed?

with event planner the events i could do often booked faster than i could get them leaving the event times i was unable to do thank you for your other criticisms i will defo take those into account for next time if i dont get it this time

Hello Tay. Just to start of I like you as a person however dont believe its your time to become staff. From the negatives below I believe you need to repair your image on the server before applying. Also If you did just resign from EP because lack of time maybe its best just to wait.

Personally I have no issues with who you are as a person Tay and I think you'd make an okay staff member. I however question your competency at times and I don't think thats what we need in the staff team currently.

I know some people have had a problem with Tay, but from my opinion he has been doing really well recently. He's one the clones that I like to hang out with and from what I have seen, he has been acting professional for when its needed and knows when it's time to have fun.

Instead of basing the opinion on just his past, people should be looking at him now.

Tay has a good IC rank with high playtime. But you recently resigned from EP due to you don't have the time, I would say wait before trying to get EP or Staff until you have more free time, also some of your actions in-game has not been the brightest but your maturity has improved since the last application.

Known him for a long time as 442nd supervisor and now my Battalion Mentor and he is a great guy, i have seen that he is getting negative for having been immature in the past but during the time i have known Tay he has been nothing but a great and funny guy while not damaging the image of battalion
