My name is Tristan (Must be hard to guess from my steam name) I come from the great western region (I like trains) of the United kingdom, I am currently studying Education at University. I have been on the server for 6 months and 4 days and have enjoyed every moment of it, which has all be spent in the 501^st regiment, well apart from about an hour. I mainly play Gmod and League of legends with some excursions into strategy game like Hearts of Iron 4. I also have dyslexia but there is nothing spell checker cannot solve.

What (do you mean why?) should we pick you for Battalion: (200 Words - Minimum):

I know in comparison to other Battalion applications I do not have the most playtime and I know many people have said to just AFK hours but that seems too cheesy for me. I have spent every hour of my playtime learning about the community and the people in, I have also used to grow as a person developing skills which would be useful inside battalion.

In my opinion i am chilled and down to earth guy but I can be serious if the situation in front of me requires it. Being in the 501^st for over 6 months, must speak towards my loyalty and passion which I have for the server. Also i have been a Colonel for 6 months in the 501st

I have improved on my communication skill and leadership skills since the last application I have made, I have also been trying to get my name out there in the community more which I have done by going into different chats rather then just the 501^st TeamSpeak.

I can think on the fly to great effect and efficiency and have led many 501^st shotgun pushes which have succussed in their objective, I am willing to learn and adapt from my mistakes like the one above which you should be glad to know.

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum):

This can be spilt into two sections. The first is in the when we are on defcon 5, in which the aim of battalion is to make sure the base we have been assigned to is running with maximum efficiency this can involve granting and denying any requests and acting as a role model for clones around them. The other one is in a combat situation in which the aim of the battalion is to make sure that the leading battalion member can complete his job of leading everyone to the best of their ability this can include providing moral to the clones near them or helping projecting the order of the leading battalion.

What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading? (IN DETAIL)

Your aim is to help complete the objective which the lead battalion has set out this could be by helping in the front lines, they could also stay with their supervisor reg and help them out with their objectives. On top of that they would also provide moral for any clones near them.

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session?

As stated on page 11 in the Battalion handbook: Doing a training of some sort with faces, formations, and questions (basically a mando), successfully leading an event, Calling, and doing a debrief.

What is the job of the Co-Leader during events?

To granting and denying any requests which come in during the event and to provide back up for the leading battalion in case he dies (in a last stand) or magically disappears from the scene (Crashes)

People may consider your activity bad but that's understandable and i am 100% sure that could be fixed

Don't really know you that well. Even though your a high rank in 501st a lot of people ask who you are and this is possibly what Ethan has said due to your inactivity. An advise would be to improve that and be well known on the server instead of just 501st.

Gallus is a competent member of 501st and has changed a lot learning from advice myself and others have given him in the past. 
 

The only downside is the activity. In 501st it is a okay standard however if you were to get accepted into battalion it would have to be greatly improved. As the role of battalion is to not only lead events however to also maintain order during passive time. In order to improve in 501st and show that you can be active. I would recommend trying to come on a bit more host some trainings with 501st members or open trainings or sims if there are not enough 501st members as well as engaging in talking with other people around base or engaging in PassiveRP.

From reading through, I'm still unsure on if you'd be a suitable Battalion member. With comments of what people are saying, for the people that do interact with you, you seem like a decent guy, however you aren't that well known. I still think that you aren't quite ready for Battalion, especially with problems with activity. Obviously, I don't know how active you are, but from certain comments it seems like you aren't active enough. Being in in 501st for at least 6 months but only having 3 weeks playtime isn't the best, but as apparently none are AFK hours that isn't too bad I guess. I think that there are better applicants that have applied, you seem competent yet your activity brings you down. I'd improve that first before applying again, unless you are accepted, as Battalion have high standards for activity, especially if you wish to move through the ranks. Either way, good luck.

I still think he´s deserving of battalion as I think being considered active on the server is very difficult when you have school and other things as being active is being on like 4 hours or more per day which can be really difficult at times. I think he would be on enough to be a really good battalion and I think he deserves a chance. Everything has already been stated above. Good luck :))
