What is the reason for your ban:
I shot someone who asked me to because he was stuck inside a wall. His name was Mantis i believe and he even said that this is what happened. Just ask him.

Why do I believe that I should be unbanned:

I just recently got un perma banned after 2 years and now ive been perma banned again even though ive taken the server seriously and was just trying to help someone out. I know now it was breaking rp but i didnt know that then. Its not like i shot a load of people to be a dick i think this is extremely unfair after one screw up that i honestly didnt think was a screw up. I was doing my training everyday to work up to going into dooms unit. I honestly wasnt doing it to be an asshole or upset anyone.  I undertand why this happened but honestly its quite unfair.

It was quite obvious that this will happen and if I would have been unbanned after 2 years of perma ban, and I want to play the server serious, I would've been fucking careful not to fuck anything up. I was the one who banned you, I was active the whole time and was available to help your stuck friend had you or him have made an @ ticket, I did have to warn you for the RDM as it was RDM and no other way round it. Well i would say thanks for giving me another chance but you barely did. Lets be real i was screwed from the start since youre basing my actions on things that happened a very long time ago and most of you probably werent even around back then either. I make one mistake and im perma banned. An honest to god mistake. Sorry im not a robot i guess? I make one mistake and all of a sudden im a minge again? May i also remind you i havent played on this server for two years so im gonna make mistakes. Im basically starting fresh. But you know what i tried and you guys have clearly just got it in your head that im a complete asshole so whats the point

I was just trying to help someone out. I wasnt minging, I wasnt deliberately going around blasting brothers, I haven't been there for 2 years and didn't know the proper course of action when someone gets stuck, they told me to blast them at 3AM when no one was around and there were barely any players so i did. Clearly no one was keeping an eye on me you guys were just waiting for me to slip up. If you were keeping an eye on me you would see i was taking the server very seriously. But as ive said i cant help that i made a mistake. I know what i did wrong now. To be honest im very new to this i never tried taking the server very seriously before when i used to play and i didnt think it would be a big deal but clearly it is. I apologise for that and if you guys wanna keep the perma ban then fine. I know that i tried and what i did was a mistake. Wasnt doing it to be a dick.

I see where your coming from that you just came from 2 years off the server due to a perma ban, i completely understand that.

However the only issue I have is that you were told the following "You seem reasonably regretful so me and SMT have decided to give you a chance to show that you improved. But I advise you to take this seriously." Due to this if you have just been unbanned from 2 years it would stand to reason that some rules may have been changed or new ones put in place, of course RDM as always been there never changed but still coming back to a server after 2 years and being told to take it serious personally I think it would of been in your best interests to check the server rules to find out what RDM is and thus from this know that no matter RDM is RDM simple as no loop holes. Thus if you need to for some reason shoot a friend to get him unstuck it still warrants RDM and instead should have got a staff member to come tp him out of there. 

 

I do believe in second chances and sadly you blown it, I don't believe in thirds chances.

-1 As someone who remembers you and warned you in the past. You were given multiple chances in the past, which lead to the perma ban. You then go and RDM. Something you know you should not be doing from your past, clearly has little knowledge of rules or just no intent to play seriously

I dont believe ive been given a fair second chance to be honest. I was clearly taking the server seriously and made one slip up. You guys were just waiting for me to slip up and clearly werent keeping an eye on me like you said. I didnt think it was a big deal since barely anyone was on. Its just unfair really. But guess im still a minge.

The fact "barely anyone was on" doesn't excuse the fact that you broke a server rule which warranted a warn remember no matter the player count there is no downtime and server rules should always be followed not matter what. You were given a fair chance by being unbanned and told to take it seriously although yes you were taking it seriously to get a chance of trying out for DU. 1 slip is all you were given from the moment you were ubanned you were told we were keeping an eye on you to which was shown by the fact that you were warned and then re banned

No i dont know the rules very well especially since it was helping someone and he thanked me and even said he asked me to do it. So if i dont know the rules maybe teach me rather than perma ban. This is nothing compared to the shit i used to do and if it were anyone else they would get a slap on the wrist and be fine. This is just you guys ganging up on me because you are making assumptions and were just waiting to get rid of me.

This player wasn't given a proper second chance. They were told by admins that a close eye would be kept on them and that is clearly just untrue, he was taking part in training, actually roleplaying and even got recommended. The people responding to this threat keep saying "RDM is RDM" without actually explaining to someone that clearly has misunderstood the situation. Instead they see a negative history from two years ago and take the first chance to get rid of someone who is actually trying to make an effort and reform. Without actually explaining what RDM is you fail to take into account the context of the situation. Neither player were malicous or in conflict, they just misunderstood some rules. Instead of properly expaining the rules you just say uhhh shoulda known, which is a terrible way of approaching the situation. Yes this player has done something they shouldn't have but they didn't know that was incorrect situation, it should have been a learning experience, you shouldn't kick off because someone misunderstood rules, explain to them the rules and if they do it again then take action. This player hasn't been on the server for 2 years, yes they didn't really try back then but they have made an honest to god effort to try and redeem themselves, which should send a positive message and would give the server some good PR. Instead the second they mess up again in any way at all you throw them out sending a negative message to anyone who would consider giving the server another chance after having a bad experience. This player deserves a real second chance where they are actaully monitored by staff so that they can prove they are trying rather than making an effort for nothing because the staff don't mean what they say.
