Denied CG Dropships for SO+

Hi so il get straight to point CG S0+ Should be given dropships, the reason i believe this would help us do our jobs say for example we need to arrest someone at JT on maps on certain maps, could help us with arrests outside of MB for example pirates run away in speeders etc i think this would be a great edition to CG and would increase our overall performance to do our job to the best we can

It was a Year ago, but I believe the points raised still stand. There are plenty of jobs that are able to fly ships and are willing to help out with an arrest if one where someone has left main base occurs. If you could get some sort of Speeder, like a Admiral's Speeder, then that would be more fit for purpose in my opinion.

fair enough i see your point, just think that because of transport for VIP / prisoners is limited in speeders is the only issue, and JT is required on some maps for use of dropships, a speeder would still help tremendously for out of MB Pursuits for the arrests completely agree on that

Agreed with what Sheperd said, but heres my take:

CG already has access to a reg exclusive vehicle (AT-TE) and if I'm not mistaken you have access to dropships at Hierarchy already. You have options to use the dropship, you will just need to coordinate it with your higher-ups.

We already have enough people who can fly, don't see why there needs to be a few more. Just give CG some sort of speeder to bring suspects from outside MB/far away.

CG Hierarchy was given the Dropship to chase down Criminals, The Dropship is rarely used for that purpose. And given people more ships would be havoc.

First: There is no point. CG Hierarchy has it and they already don’t use it like they are supposed to. They never use the dropship for prisoner transport and just use it for transport in events and flying around.

Second: They have already given to many regiments a ship (to many in my opinion) CE are the pilots of the server. If they are just gonna give every reg a ship there is no point in having CE.

Bad enough that 501st SOs use it all the time for the wrong purpose, Generally un-needed and strips a big chunk of duties for CE as they are the main people who fly
