Was on IRP from the start until 05/03/22, took a break until first IORP beta came out. Was on CWRP for a yearish.

Every day or every 2 days.

Make sure the players are following the rules, if not give an appropriate punishment or warning. Help players enjoy their RP by banning the minges, work with other members of the staff team to make sure it is a safe environment for any player who wishes to play. Be a good example to new and existing players on how they should act. They are also required to in their opinion on staff applicants and would they be a good member of the staff team.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other Imperials:

Check logs for the player that is being accused, if this is true TP the player to a staff sit question them on why they were killing people, depending on what they say you may warn or ban them depending on the severity of RDM. If the player has not been RDMing people look in logs to see if the person who made the claim has gotten the name wrong, if it is a false claim tell the person who made the claim to not waste staff time next time they do it they will be warned.

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:
Try get a leading rank to order someone to cadet train, if there is no-one being sent than bring a JNCO or any other rank that is able to train cadets that is available to train them.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a ST accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

If it is only one shot then it should be dealt with IC, just PM them to be more careful or take out their keys instead. If it is obvious they are attempting to kill someone drag em the fuck outta there.

 

4 ) A ST #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

You can give out to them IC if you wish but it isn’t a server rule breaking so no punishment shall be handed out OOC such as warns/bans or kicks.

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:
Just because it isn’t specifically listed in the rules doesn’t mean it isn’t in the rules just give them a warning  and tell them to use more common sense.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:  
If they have a problem with your punishment refer them to the rules section on the forums if they still disagree bring another staff member to explain to show the punishment is biased, if they still disagree send them to the forums and tell them to make a unwarn/unban request or if they really want to they can make a report on the forums for staff abuse if they feel it is extremely unjust.

Previously I have been Staff and EP, I know the rules well and I am well used to the job that staff have to do, ULX is also not a problem for me and have plenty of experience with it. I have been through multiple situations in different sits and I know how to deal with them accordingly. Even during my time not being staff I have helped out new staff members in situations where they aren’t sure what to do and there was no other staff to help them. I have helped out in many different updates on CWRP and IRP attempting to make the server a better experience for all.and I have assisted new players in getting used to the community and the servers to make them have a better and easier time. It is very rare I have not helped out someone understand something better in this community and will try answer the question to the best of my abilities. If a fellow staff member needs help with something I will also assist them in the best of my abilities and explain the situation to them if they do not understand it. I’m not going to say I’m a great guy and extremely patient and you should love me, if you know me and you’ve talked to me about something then you should know what I’m like and judge your opinion of me off that, if you don’t know me at all then you shouldn’t be letting me in the staff team, it is quite simple.
