  9. Neutral but leaning towards a +1 Haven't talked to you too much in-game but you always seemed friendly. You're event plan (as already stated) is a bit all over the place and seems less thought through than some of your event suggestions, and you do need to elaborate on the duties of EP alongside that. Despite this I still see hope in you as an event planner and would do great with the right mentor and teaching.
  10. Overall +1 Although as already stated Dobby can be a massive bellend when it comes to minging, but is incredibly creative when it comes to dupes and event ideas. He's always put his heart into larping and can be serious when needs be. Warns shouldnt be too much of an issue as in my opinion he has learned from them and moved on.
  11. +1 has past experience as staff and EP friendly person to interact with fair in OOC and IC situations
  12. +1 - is friendly and fair - application is well written - has experience with trusted roles
  13. In-game name(s): Phillip Steam Name: princephillipgaming Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:526423884 Age when applying: 14 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: I live in Ireland. Time zone is IST (GMT+1) Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes. Current total game-time on the server: 5d 21h 18m IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on IRP: IORP: 501st LT (previously captain but resigned) and Plat VIP. IRP: 501st EXO, 501st Temp VC (multiple times) and Plat VIP. Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: Yes, I communicate via speaking. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined around mid April and have been playing IRP and IORP since. Their have been no breaks other than small absences since then. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, IRP Discord and our forums: I use the teamspeak and discord quite often due to my IC rank and general community stuff, but do not use the forums regularly. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): As the server is currently closed for a re-launch, I will just be honest. I dont have any warns from IORP but one from IRP for a miscommunication of RDM from around 3-4 months ago. There was 4 of us in a glitched area and we gave eachother consent to kill each other to escape said spot. The SOD at the time seen this in the logs and TP'd all of us to get our statement. One of them had apparently not consented and didn't want to be killed. I understand that I should have called said SOD to get us un-stuck and shouldn't have shot fellow imperials. (Will get screenshot on release if needed) State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff on the server is to enforce the rules and make sure players are abiding by them. They help with keeping a stable roleplay experience and deal with any rule-breakers and minges. They can do this by taking claims or acting as a Staff On Duty. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes, I have read over the rules of T-RP and have a good grasp on them. List of all previous server staff experience: N/A, this is my first time applying for staff. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes, staff do not get any special treatment/immunity when it comes to their IC rank. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other Imperials: First of all, I would go to a private/discrete location so I can teleport the players to a staff sit. I would then check the logs to ensure they were committing RDM. I would then ask for the situation/scenario to be explained by both sides before continuing. I would then check the type of RDM and how bad it was then hand out punishments depending on the severity (warns/bans). Before banning said person I would explain what they did wrong and how the rules work regarding the situation. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: If the cadet has already asked in OOC to be trained and no trainer seems to be coming, I would select one of the NCOs of that respective regiment and TP him to the cadet room to train him. 3 ) During a debrief, a ST accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: If it were an accident, I would leave the respective regiment to deal with it in character. 4 ) A ST #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: This situation is not one that staff handle. I would deal with it in-character. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules: I would tell them that using common sense is crucial in RP and that every scenario of RP most likely wont have a specific rule written for it. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would explain to them my reason for the severity of my punishment and that this punishment is following the staff guidelines. If they continue to argue and state they were wrongfully or unfairly punished, I would suggest they go to the unwarn/unban requests if they would like to dispute said punishment. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I believe I am capable of becoming a valuable asset to the Tatooine Roleplay's staff team and helping the T-RP server run smoothly. I have experienced many staff sits and the way staff deal with claims and problems. In my opinion I am fair and friendly toward players which is helpful during staff situations and can help the player feel more comfortable and stress free. I understand the role of staff well and have no intention of abusing it for my own/others benefit. I can absorb information quickly and apply it to appropriate scenarios. For example, when I had first been promoted to hierarchy I was inexperienced in dealing with punishments; however, by asking little questions and observing other hierarchy I quickly applied this knowledge to my own regiment and punishments. With my experience of being in hierarchy positions before I believe that I am quite competent and can control situations when needed. This alongside being in the community for a good amount of time and being around those in high staff positions will help me in the role of staff. I am among-st the most active players on T-RP and have a good sense of community. I am confident in my common sense and situational awareness alongside my ability to hand out punishments fairly and reasonably. By taking the knowledge I have acquired alongside my understanding and grasp of the rules, I feel I'd fit well into the staff team and will do a great job as a moderator. Thank you for taking the time to review my application, -Phillip
