  1. In-game name(s): CG Medic LT Daan Steam Name: Dingy Individual Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:147571104 Age when applying: 17 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: Greece, GMT+3 Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes, I have been for most of my life. Current total game-time on the server: 1mo 1w 1d 10h IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: CG LT, Medic, Plat VIP, PAC3 Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I own a working microphone and communicate by speaking. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: First joined somewhere around 2018 and played on and off till 2020 until 2022 when I played regularly for about 6 months. I got active on the server again about a month ago and I hope to be here for a while. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I use TS and Discord on a daily basis. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns: N/A, https://imgur.com/a/0JvLgAz State the role of staff on the server: The role of a staff member on the server is to make sure the roleplaying experience is kept up to par and enjoyable for everyone involved. This is usually achieved by assisting the function of roleplay events by giving weapons, vehicles noclip etc. , punishing rulebreakers and assisting in other OOC issues. All of the above should be done without bias as to keep punishments fair. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I have read the rules multiple times and understand them fairly well. List of all previous server staff experience: I have previously staffed on 2 servers around 2016 to 2018 that have since shut down. The highest rank I have reached is Senior Admin. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I understand. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: To begin with, I would teleport to the accused clone to see if they were currently killing other clones. If that was the case, I would teleport them away and freeze them to prevent any more RDM from occuring then check logs to assess how much harm was done and punish them accordingly. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would begin by teleporting to the cadet and informing them that someone would come to train them soon. Afterwards, I would try and locate an available member of battalion to get them to send an NCO+ to train them, or in the event where there are no battalion on, I would directly teleport to an NCO+ and inform them of the situation at hand or ask in OOC chat if anyone would like to volunteer. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: As this is not really an OOC problem and I can't be sure if it really was accidental or not, I would let a CG or other qualified clone to handle the situation accordingly. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: Let's say that in this scenario, I'm currently on duty. Since this is an in character scenario and I essentially exist in OOC, the CT would neither have to salute me nor would I care if they didn't. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would explain to them that the rules can't contain every single instance of FailRP as that is not possible and that common sense has a big part in deciding what is FailRP or not. As such, I would punish them accordingly and send them on their way. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would do my best to understand what their problem with the punishment was as to see if it was an error on my part or not. If it wasn't an error on my part, I would calmly explain to them what caused the punishment to happen in more detail and then guide them to the forums to get their warn appealed if they still feel like they were truly wronged. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I firmly believe that my personal qualities, beliefs, and level of activity make me an ideal candidate for the staff position on the server. While it's been some time since I last held a staff role, I believe that with the right amount of assistance and dedication I will be able to learn quickly and effectively. To dig into the topic of my qualities and beliefs, I try to do my best of my ability to resolve conflict, enforce rules and overall foster a more positive and fun atmosphere in the spaces I am a part of for everyone involved. I think it's important to strike a fine balance between being serious/maintaining professionalism while also maintaining approachability in a lighthearted manner to make resolution of any concerns or issues easier. On another hand, I believe I can be a productive and good contributor to the server in more ways than one. For one, I am willing to do things more than just staff sits, i.e assisting event planners during events, other staff members or generally brainstorming creative ideas to enhance the overall player experience. Furthermore, I believe that my previous ranks in CG and Medic show my willingness to commit to a position for a fair amount of time and do well in it without any kind of bias in the decisions I've made during my time in said positions. In general I try my best to take in criticism and I do my best to keep myself as helpful as I can be to people around me as I believe that truly taking in criticism and truly bettering from it is something that someone in a staff position should do their best to have.

(Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): Haven't had any https://imgur.com/a/G1GpBHD State the role of staff on the server: A staff member has to make sure that the rules are being followed. If a rule is broken, they are to punish the rule breaker accordingly. In addition, a staff member is there to answer questions someone may have about the server, the rules etc. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yup List of all previous server staff experience: Have been staff on 2 servers around 2016-2018 that are now shut down. The highest rank I've gotten to was senior admin. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yup, fully understand Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: In this scenario, I would teleport to the player to make sure that the situation is not ongoing. If it was, I would take them away and warn them for RDM. Otherwise, I would check the logs to confirm, and then take action. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: First thing I would do is inform a member of battalion. If there are currently no battalion on or they don't respond, I would ask an NCO+ to train the cadet. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I wouldn't really worry about it, things like that happen a lot. I would simply show them how to properly safety their weapon and move on. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: As I am not in-character, it is not necessary to salute me. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would explain to them that the rules don't explicitly state every possible instance of FailRP and then carry on with the punishment. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: If they feel that my punishment was unfair I would direct them to the forums to make an appeal. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I feel like I deserve to be a staff member due to the fact that I've had previous staffe experience, allowing me to know my way around most of the responsibilities that a staff member may have. To add to this, I have a pretty good understanding of how ulx works, allowing me to use my powers more efficiently. I am fairly competent in dealing with the more common cases of rule breaking like RDM, FailRP, DTS and the likes. I believe that I am a fairly un-biased person, allowing me to deal with sits in a trustworthy way, no matter if they are a friend or someone I don't like. Something else I can bring to the table is dedication to the server. For example, I've been a member of CG for the last 5 months, having only gone on an LOA/ROA about 2 or 3 times which I believe shows dedication to the server and my regiment. (and me having way too much time on my hands tbf) To add, I have kept a clean record during my aforementioned 5 month stay on the server, which I feel proves that I know my way around the rules pretty well. I am fairly prone to new ideas, allowing me to absorb new ways of doing things in a better way and I can take criticism and improve from it. To end off, I feel that I am a fairly cheerful person, which I believe is a good value to have in a member of the staff team.
  3. I had counted the top part for the word count as well, but I've added onto the actual explanation part of it so it hits the minimum now
  4. Out of Character Section (OOC) - Steam Name: Thy Weed Man Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:147571104 Current OOC rank on the server and / or in other communities (e.g. Plat VIP, Mod, Event Planner): Plat VIP, PAC3 Age (Must be 14+): 16 What is your playtime (2+ Weeks Minimum): 2w 2d 12h Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yup and yup Have you read through the Battalion Handbook, and extending documents from it: Yup Do you meet the requirements: Yup State all previous OOC punishment (Kicks, Bans and Warnings | Including Discord / Team Speak) and provide a screenshot of your list of warnings (Go in-game and do !warns) then provide a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/W7aNddF2EIhu In Character Section (IC) - In-Game name (Regiment, Rank then your name): CG Medic LTCOL Daan Highest rank obtained (Including previous): DU LCPL | CG LTCOL Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment (If so explain the reason): Nope What is the Battalion Motto: "Lead your men to death. Honour is better than surrender." Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum): A battalion's role / responsibility is to act as a leading figure on the base by make sure everything is up to par well inside of the base. For example, a battalion can handle a variety of things such as permission requests, making sure cadets are being trained and so on. To add to one of the more base oriented responsibilities, a battalion has to supervise the regiment they are given to make sure it is running as it should, and report in to the hierarchy if there is some kind of problem inside of it. One of the larger parts of a battalion's job is to lead / co-lead during a planetary or a base attack by giving the clones clear orders that everyone should be able to understand. Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum): I believe that I should be picked as a member of battalion for multiple reasons, some of which are the following. To start off, I would like to mention that I am a very active member of the server. ( I play for more than 5 hours during the weekends) During the 2 total weeks of playtime that I have on the server, I believe that I have learned a great deal about how a member of battalion should act and how they should handle certain situations. Even though I may not show it that much, I can be serious when a certain situation needs me to be. To add, I believe that I am a decently fast learner, due to which, I believe that I can adapt to certain situations quite quickly and learn things that I may not have already known during my time on the server after becoming a member of battalion. From my time in CG and as a medic I have learned a number of things about how someone should act in and out of the base, meaning that I know my way around most of the responsibilities of a battalion. Lastly, I am of the belief that people can approach me pretty easily due to the fact that I'm a decently easy person to talk to about most subjects. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank? Yup What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail): Assuming they are not leading / co-leading a member of battalion should be sticking with their supervised regiment and helping out by using their equipment to aid in firefights. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted? -Lead an event with a voice amp -Host an open simulation -Do a successful debrief What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up too: Captain Anything else?:
