I was demoted from OS Commando (F-49) for breaking the bronze rule, I flew a ship without permission.

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum):

Battalion provides guidance and orders to keep the base running smoothly. This includes: 

Ensuring the correct defcon is communicated during attacks or while away on planetary operations. 

Leading clones into battle against enemies of the GAR by giving tactical decisions based on the strengths and weaknesses of the various regiments.

Upholding a respectable and fair image for other clones to aspire to. 

Ensuring standards of combat readiness are maintained by working with regiments and providing advice and guidance. 

Training and education of clones in “trainings” and simulations with innovative aspects.

Standing in when regiments need help or temporary leadership. 

Giving clear and concise orders to allow the GAR to be successful in their operations.

Acting with honour and integrity during disputes.

 

Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum):

I have a very mature and honest perspective that I believe will allow me to be a great member of the battalion. I have previous experience climbing to the rank of Battalion Captain before moving to become an OS Commando, allowing me a unique insight to how both “elite” groups operate and what’s expected of them.   

I’ve held other ranks within the staff team reaching senior administrator before moving into the event planner team and becoming DEM.

I’ve been a member of the security staff for around 2 years now, where I'm responsible for ensuring a good environment for role play and stability in the server operation. 

I’m committed to the community, working on the development of the HL2RP platform making it very unlikely that I will abuse any position or power granted, if I'm successful in my application. 

I have respect for people in the battalion and believe that there will be no conflict within the group with me joining.

I’ve got a bunch of experience in different regiments obtaining several SO and CO ranks giving me an insight to the various regiment capabilities and allowing me to direct them where best employed. 

I want to see the server thrive and have good roleplay and gameplay. Having more responsibility in RP with a battalion rank will give me opportunities to improve the experience for everyone, and I hope we can work together to do that.

What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail):

To break it down simply, the manual states: 

Prioritise the regiment you have been assigned to with combat support. 

Follow orders from leading battalion members.

Make sure regiments are led to the correct general area when ordered by the event leading battalion member.

Stay within the front / middle of the assault / frontline. 

Remain with your supervising regiment and assist them, do not lead the charge. 

 

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted?

• Hosting an open training
• Leading a base attack
• Leading a planetary and performing a debrief

What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up too:

They have the power to promote and demote anyone from the rank of Captain and below.
