Quick summary about you:

I am a University student in the UK, working part time at a store to earn some money on the side. I used to play a range of sports including rugby, cricket, athletics and was part of the army cadets for 6 years, however, after an injury I have resorted to playing many video games. I enjoy strategy and survival games, but mainly play gmod and enjoy killing droids with the boys.

What should we pick you for Battalion:

I think I am a good fit for battalion as I have spent a long time here and over my time I have been in 212^th three times. Managing to get COL twice and LCOL once, as well as this I have managed to get in ARC. This shows I am competent enough and I have the dedication to work hard for my regiment, and the position I have within it. I am also a good leader and have led many events and helped to minimize casualties and push effectively. I know the responsibilities of leadership and believe I can help to make good tactics as and when necessary. Being a long-time member of 212^th has taught me what works and what doesn’t on the frontline, and I believe this can help me to lead troops effectively. As well as this I am responsible and mature outside of combat and can set a good example to new troopers and hopefully teach people the correct way to behave. I also hope to help regiments by supervising them, when able, and helping by giving advice when necessary. I believe the connection between battalion and the regiments is important to have a well running army and I think I can help to build onto this.

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion:

There are two types of duties -

During combat, battalion should either lead, co-lead or remain in the mid to backlines. The leader should be giving orders to the troops, pushes, flanks etc. The co-leader should assist the leader by granting or denying requests.

During Defcon 5, battalion should grant or deny requests, and make sure that everything on base is running smoothly. They should be setting a good example for clones on base and making sure they are behaving. They can also host trainings, both open or for the regiment that they are supervising, helping to keep people busy.

I understand, it is important to show a good example to those in your command and to show the correct way for people to behave. I also know not doing this will result in punishment.

What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading?

The battalion not leading should focus on working with the regiment they are supervising by using the equipment they have. They are advised to stick to the mid to frontlines and assist with pushes when ordered by the leading battalion.

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session?

1.     Lead a base attack.

2.     Host a training with faces, formations and questions.

3.     Calling for and hosting a debrief.

What is the job of the Co-Leader during events?
To assist in leading by granting and denying requests when necessary.
