When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: Back in June/July 2019 Left around Late February 2020 came back in April to play Jedi, resigned from Jedi, got my ban after joining 327th and warns in may like a boss and came back in mid-august.

 

How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, SW-RP Discord and our forums: Use the TS3 more now CT have moved to it, used to primarily use Discord and recently started watching forums more often.

State the role of staff on the server: Staff are to both keep people following rules and help maintain roleplay on the server. For example, dealing with people who continually FailRP with behaviour or actions such as prop push or spam. As well as making sure the server doesn’t degenerate into an MRDM fest or an insult competition.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:
Check logs to make sure it is true, if it is warn the person for MRDM and give them a ban, and if it’s false give the player a verbal warning for Lying to staff.

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:
Assuming I was staff on duty take the claim and either teleport an NCO if their is one or teleport to Battalion and ask if they can call for a cadet trainer.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidentally shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:
If it’s only the one shot and they verbally apologies leave it, if they attempt to kill everyone in debriefing drag them away and warn/ban for MRDM, and if it’s just one person just warn for RDM after allowing the CT to be arrested.

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

Just remind them that they should salute 2nd Lieutenant+, not really a staff issue, however as CT VC just keep and eye on the 4 Numbers to make sure the haven’t been trained properly.
 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:
Tell them even though it is not specifically stated in the rules their action is still FailRP, if they’ve already been verbally warned for their actions warn them, if not just give them a FailRP warn and watch their behaviour.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however, they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

 Give them a verbal warning for DTS and tell them to just accept it, if they continue to warn for DTS.

Explain in length and detail why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

I believe I have shown I am a mature, competent and trusted member of the community, as I have been in an EXO+ position for the 2nd time (3 if you count 327th Temp EXO), been an Event Planner twice and have been in ARC, as well as this I have been in CT for nearly 6 months at this point, and in that time I think I have shown that I mature as I did not involve myself with the “CT coup” and was even a target of the “coup” as I was apparently “regimentally” disliked because I was chosen over someone else, although this might look bad on my part I believe it shows my maturity and being trusted within the community as nothing happened to me because of the “coup” as did with McKnight. Along with this, I have learnt from my mistakes that cause my image in the eyes of the Coup such as my communication with the regiment.

Moreover, I am more suited to dealing with situations as having to deal with CTs nearly every and the utter retardation that they can get up to make me knowledge on how to appropriately handle a staff situation, along with knowing when to draw the line between a regiment and staff matter. Along with this, I have been playing both gmod and swrp for quite a long time around 7000 hours so I have experienced many a staff sits, knowing how to appreciate staff behaviour and punishments deescalates situations rather than creating a larger situation.

Finally, I want to state that my warns/ban are nearly 1-year-old showing that I have been mature enough to not continue the behaviour that got me banned.

It isn't hard to get 100 claims each week, and with ULX Geovani will be able to create more interesting trainings, so staff could assist him with being able to focus on his regiment, not take his focus off it.
