When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined the server on the 19/05/21, I have not left the server but I have taken a few LOAs/ROAs.

 

How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, SW-RP Discord and our forums: I use all 3 everyday.

State the role of staff on the server: The role of Staff on the server is to enforce server rules against those who break them. Staff are also there to assist players in whatever they require (within reason) for example: deleting vehicles when not in use, giving players equipment, etc.

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes

 

 

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I would find the player by teleporting to them, I would bring them into a sit and check logs. If they have been killing clones I would warn them for RDM (Or MRDM depending on the amount of players killed).

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would ask in OOC if anyone would like to train a cadet, if not then I would teleport to/PM a Battalion member (Or the highest on) and ask them to select someone to train cadets.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: Nothing, as it is not purposeful. It is more of a CG matter than a staff one, if they decide to pursue it.

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: Depending on what job I am (OOC/IC Rank), I might remind them that they would need to salute me, but if I am not an IC job then I would ignore it.

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would explain to them how what they have done is FailRP, and if they still do not agree then I will give them a link to the forums and ask them to apply for an unwarn request.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would give them a link to the forums and ask them to apply there for an unwarn/unban request.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I believe I would a great staff member as I am active, hard working and friendly member of the server. This is shown by my high rank in Clone as well as my relatively high rank in Jedi. In my 8 months of being Executive Officer, I have learnt to be responsible and dedicated, which is vital when leading a regiment as those who are a lower rank than you will follow your actions. Because of this, I know when to be serious and when to be more laid back, as when you are working with dangerous vehicles and turrets, you cannot allow people to mess around with them as it could end up with people getting warned or worse. This is important when dealing with rule-breakers or new players who have joined a regiment for a bit of fun as it is imperative that you have a good relationship with the server's player base. I also believe that I am a good teacher as I must do trainings in order to teach members of my regiment how to do somewhat complex things. I have a fairly good understanding of both the Staff Guidelines and Server Rules which will assist me in being a staff member, as well as this I have a good knowledge of ULX commands which is similar to the server's current SAMS admin mod. Though I have 2 warns, they are from a while ago and I have since learnt from which has allowed me to be better as a player on the server as well as help people avoid making mistakes whilst playing on the server.

Due to this application being awesome, I would like to credit all of the hard work shephard has done for this community. He is one of the best CE Shephards i have ever met and I respect his application to be staff. In terms of his SteamID, it checks out and he is also a PlatVIP. Great store contributions. Playtime is stellar. I think that I commend this man greatly, as he has shown dedication, admiration and exasperation for this server. He deserves a place on this team. I commend his application.
