The researcher was actually pinned to the wall, therefore could not walk on his own, meaning he would not be able to move, even if. Just the fact someone cuffed a foundation staff member and brought him away was one reason for their death. If I know I may be in the wrong position to tactical cuff someone who I know will resist because he is armed (knowing that by default and common sense), even if he is low hp (which at that point Japer was), risking and getting mowed down with a weapon whilst me trying to swap between a gun and restraints will be very bad, so even if I have the ability to cuff someone (or I do not), I rather not risk my life, knowing I am clearance 4 and it is rather that I am important with information and data I possess in-character, it would not be right for me to risk myself because of 1 GOI, who signed himself by saying he's an MTF prior and then running off as he's asked for his identity, then deciding to kidnap someone who works for the foundation inside of the facility, clearly showing he is not part of it. Hence my reaction, so I am not obliged to cuff someone if I know I may not succeed, even if I have the upper hand.

Why do I believe that I should be unwarned: It wasn't any sort of RDM. The kill was valid - ATLAS member kidnapped a researcher inside of the facility, therefore when I approached the room as I heard him kidnap a researcher and opened it and saw him in cuffs as he was infecting him - I killed him and this was apparently classed as ARDM.

In the damage logs shown on the screenshot there is the researcher with weapon_handcuffed, signifying that he was in cuffs at the time of the combat happening. I spent 1 hour in total in 2 different sits held because Shape Japer couldn't get over the fact I killed him when he was kidnapping people.

Last time the aliens struck the humans when they were interrogating some guy in a jump suit last year. Things have never been the same for both the humans and the aliens. The organization called the foundation tried to cover it up but it was a whole city! After they hid the bodies and examined them the others they isolated the city which is why corona happened...never mind that. The aliens have decided to attack again first send the infecting units to rid of the surface then sendng their heavy units to attack their enemies the foundation...All we know is that they are out for revenge.

Three things, one you walked around a corner to get time to speak in comms, second, "(could just be typing in admin chat u gonna shoot someone for typing?)" I'm thinking IC, Admin Chat doesn't exist IC, when I kidnap someone and they start typing am I going to think "Oh shit, I'll let him type whatever he's typing just in case he's talking to admins!" no I don't. Third I'm talking to police at armory and you decide to be like "OOC why did you kill me?" (Which is the same as saying "Why did you RDM me") and we start talking about which in my opinion effectively is a sit because if I answered "I dunno" you would of warned me. Besides we're just overlooking the fact that you were armed meaning I could of killed if I wanted too.
(I like how you don't address the fact that you were going rogue as MC&D.)
Regardless of him begin dragged or not, he's still cuffed. In addition he doesn't have to cuff him, it's a hostile GOI inside the site taking a researcher, and he knows it's a GOI because he knows he ain't security or Beta 1 or any other MTF Task Force and judging by the fact he had a syringe out and had a cuffed researcher their is more than enough evidence. Had he not have any weapons or Sweps out I would agree that he's action were a bit rash.

Yea what im saying is im not sure how common sense works for him being armed as in from your point of veiw hes just a guy with a reasercher restrained plenty of b1 have researchers restrained no reason to shoot him the only diffrence is that you dont know who this unit is so u have reason to be suspicious just not to kill him but u never mentioned him not showing his identification and if it was at a checkpoint  and he just ran away then yea u could have shot him there. but i doubt that considering he got all the way to med bay without getting shot down.

also to reply with u JohnWick i was in tac cuffs not breaking out i attempt to speak in comms which you dont know wether i am or not (could just be typing in admin chat u gonna shoot someone for typing?) also i walked like 1 meater away from you and u could have easily stripped my comms since was right next to you and your reason for arrest you didnt even tell me plus i didnt even pull u into a sit or like complain just asked i never said oh u RDM'ed me i was just in the armory and asked why u killed me.

Not quite the reasercher was not being dragged and was walking freely and you decide to shoot down an unarmed atlas member and you shot him instantly instead of arresting him. Also like i mean there was no way of knowing wether he was being infected or not and plus considering the range beween you and the unit you could have just tactical cuffed him its just strange u walk into a room look at this guy you dont know in the facility and instantly shoot him down instead of cuffing him and question him for why hes got a researcher in cuffs. For all you know he could have had avalid reason for the arrest considering you dont know that hes a GOI.

    Type of suggestion: Weapon

How important is your suggestion on a scale from 1 to 10: 5

Your suggestion: Add the radio addon for the fighting units of the Reich.

Reasons for this suggestion: 1. Adding this addon would add a lot new passive to the radiomen. Instead of just just typing /Reich or any other channel the radio men would have to take out their radios, choose the right channel and give out their message. 2. This would also make sending messages to the radio much easier. The amount of times I have died when being ORPO trying to report something is a lot, having to stand there typing in chat without being able to move. If I could just be able to take out the radio and give out the message without having to type it into chat I would have survived. 3. This would also make the server more realistic. Instead of just being able to send a message to the whole Reich without a radio in seconds, people will actually need to be radiomen  and take care of them. Having a radioman  will become much more important than ever before. It would become like IRL in WW2 where radio companies were very important. Killing a radioman could make so an whole offence would fail. Adding a radioman role in the combat units of the Reich would also increase the amount of jobs which would be very good for some companies as they need new roles. 4. New combat tactics. If there are two squads split up from each other attacking it would be much easier for then to cooperate if both of them had radiomen. The radiomen would have to listen to their commanders orders and send the messages between each other.

    Any relevant links: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1689165345

Additional Information: The creator of this addon is also the creator of a lot of addons the server currently uses.

Why should we pick you? (250 word minimum): While in this time, the server is in a “poor” state and the only way to bring it back up is to do it together as a community. The staff team numbers are very low and the only way to bring up the community is to bring more helpful and reliable staff members and I believe I’m a good fit for this. I’ve played the server for more than a year and I do admit I have been worse in the past but that’s in the past and shouldn’t reflect my current self. But what about my current self? I shitpost a lot, I make jokes a lot, but at the end of the day, I’m only messing around, take the “Anthony Rogers when Foundation” joke, it’s only a joke. I like Anthony Rogers, he’s fun to play with as Chaos Insurgency. I consider myself mature when I’m not shitposting, I can handle situations in a mature way. I’ve had experience being a part of group management twice now, for The Serpent’s Hand, it was my first time being able to manage a group and I had a lot of fun, at the end I was demoted for inactivity which was very fair but I did learn from it. Then came the UIU manager role, I say I did good but I resigned in the end due to me being limited from no communication. I’ve gone through multiple WLs in my time of playing, coming from GoI’s to an O5 Council member and I’ve also learned from playing these jobs. I’ve had a lot of experience playing the server. I barely get in trouble except for the few miscommunications here and there, but in the end, everyone is pleased with the results. I’m very friendly with the community, I don’t hate anybody as I try to joke with everybody. Due to my timezone, I’m able to staff in later hours of the night and doing so allows me to catch people who do malicious activities (such as prop spamming) while no other staff is active, this gives the staff team a huge advantage even though saying it out loud doesn’t seem like much. I also know a lot of SCP lore coming from normal SCPs to detailed knowledge of the Hanged King. As well I know a lot of GoI lore, such as CoTBG, TSH, and UIU.

How long will you be able to play per day?: I’m able to play for awhile due to the COVID-19 lockdown, I mainly get on around 4 PM BST, then get off around 7 PM BST, I later return around 12-1 AM BST and I will be able to staff at later times.

Any past experience as staff?: I’ve been an admin on a DarkRP server way back, then recently when I took my break early 2020 I became a staff member on another DarkRP server (sadly its shut down), and this may not count as experience but I’ve staffed many Discord servers.

Any previous warns/bans? If so why? (maximum of 15 warns, exceptions can be made.): 3 warnings, 1 ban, the screenshot provides the details

Do you know the basic ULX commands Yes/No: Yes, with my experience as staff on Gmod, they used ULX. I will provide my knowledge about ULX.
!kick - !kick (playername) (reason optional) - This forces a player to leave, they still may rejoin but this command should be used when giving players a “warning” when they don’t stop breaking rules
!ban - !ban (playername) (time using hdwy format) (reason) - Banning a player is a last chance type of thing, it makes sure that players don’t rejoin and doing this is considered a heavy punishment. It forces the player to not only leave but never rejoin until they are unbanned. There are 2 types of bans, first being a hard ban which is just a permanent ban, the only way to rejoin the server again is to be unbanned by a high powered staff member. Second is a soft ban, which is a ban with a time limit.
!goto and !bring - !goto (playername) - !bring (playername) - These 2 commands are both used for teleporting between players, !goto just brings you to the player's location and !bring will bring the player to your location.

Do you know what SCP-RP is about? (not just job descriptions): SCP-RP is a roleplay based on the SCP wiki. The SCP universe is basically a world where the anomalous does exist, most of the stories in this wiki are horror and made to be mysterious. This universe is applied to roleplay and it can be very fun. There are multiple jobs you can play when you get to a certain level. Some jobs are locked and you will need to buy VIP/PlatVIP due to it being possibly abused, and whitelisted jobs. You are meant to play a character as a certain job, such as a D-Class. In RP, D-Class personnel are to follow orders from guards and researchers to be tested on SCPs. “SCPs” which means “Special Containment Procedures” are anomalous objects, creatures, and areas that can be put under 5 specific classes. These classes are Safe which means the anomaly does not harm in containment, Euclid which means the object is more difficult to contain, Keter which means these anomalies are very hard to contain, Thaumiel which means they use this anomaly to contain another anomaly, and lastly Neutralized which just means they no longer give out their anomalous ability due to something happening to it, such as termination. But that isn’t all, there are external groups who also know about the anomalous which are called Groups of Interests. These GoI’s most of the time are whitelisted jobs, but when playing them you can make great RP. With all the combined jobs, it can make some great RP even if it's just a battle.

Do you understand the rules of SCP-RP(1 word is not an answer).: I’ve said this before, but I’ve been playing on this server for more than a year. I don’t only just understand the rules but I try to not break any, my last warning was in V5 and it was for Accidental prop kill, a reminder I joined in V5. Here are some brief rules that need to be known:

RDM - Random Deathmatch - Killing a player without any reason.
Example: A security guard starts to kill a researcher in LCZ for no reason.

RDA - Random Arrest - Arresting a person with no reason, detaining with the restraint SWEPs can also be considered RDA.
Example: A MTF Nu-7 goes up to another Nu-7 and arrests them with the reason “They looked at me funny” which is not valid.

NLR - New Life Rule - Whenever you die, you may not use the information from your past life.
Example: A Chaos Insurgency Spy kills someone, the person who was killed will track down the Spy and in return killing him back because “he knew he was a spy” which would be considered RDM + breaking NLR.

Metagame - When a person who takes out of character information into an in-character situation.
Example: A E-11 looks at the names of some Chaos Insurgency members in Foundation and checks the scoreboard to see what job they are playing, then calls them out.

State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff is simple: They are to monitor players, making sure they are not breaking any forms of rules, they are to act as the representatives of the server and act like such to provide a positive impact on the players. They act as administration, giving out punishment where needed, when needed, and in a professional and timely manner. They act as guides, teaching and telling people what to do and how to do it, whether simple or complex. They are people to console in, when issues arise, staff are there to listen, and provide what aid they can to players as they need it or request it. No task should ever be overlooked or not considered worth staff time

Give some context about setting of C24 within the Half Life universe (150 words+): Set in Europe, at the heart of Geneva, the city itself is vastly different from the rest of the Universal Union administrated cities (such as C17, C8, etc) via an almost fanatical route of propaganda manipulation upon it's citizens, workforce and police. Its plentiful red banners in places through the city, creating a sense of strong-held nationalism, whereupon the old eagle of Geneva’s crest is prevalent. Up-front the city resembles whispers of the old world via its fake posture of prestige and comfort, where class-systems are really just an illusion. Its roads, paths and street buildings remain well kept and relatively clean. It could be argued that City 24 has as much in common with North Korea or Nazi Germany as with most other cities within the now Union-Occupied world. It is a pivotal seat of power in the Universal Union's stranglehold of the world. City 24 is harshly run by a small select circle, rather than one, or a board of administrators.

Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? N/a As they have not been posted yet, however, I believe they will be very a-kin to other servers run by W-G so until I see them, I'll say maybe.

Have you read the punishment list and are familiar with it?: See as above

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes I understand Completely

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

1 ) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people: Check Blogs: If true, bring offender, question, ban/warn accordingly to severity, if false, verbally warn reporter for leaving a false report

2 ) You are asked by a player about how to join a faction: Provide them with information, reminding them that anything that needs to be done ICly, must be done like that, such as a citizen gaining knowledge of rebel locations and recruitment centers, or directing them to the discord or the forums, potentially even reading areas from the forums to them as a guide

3 ) You catch somebody not performing RP and messing around: Remind them that this is a heavily RP-focused server, unless they are in an area specified for unserious acts. Otherwise (and this is the important bit): As long as they are not affecting or harming other people's RP or experiences on the server, then they should be left alone, if CP engage them due to their uncharacteristically acts and they don't see the RP through, then they are to be reminded and warned for their transgressions

4 ) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly: Remind them that they are meant to be acting in the role of the rank they have acquired, if they refuse to comply: warn them that they may lose that rank and it's according privileges. Repeated transgressions will result in removal from that role

5 ) A player is prop spamming: Freeze them, remind them that that is against the rules and proceed with a warning after removing their props, or getting them to do it. Further transgressions may result in kicks or bans.

6 ) Somebody does not agree with the outcome of an RP situation therefore he decides to break RP and act OOC: Judge according to the situation at hand, if there is no room for the RP situation to have occurred (E.G: the other party had broken a rule) then nullify the RP situation and deal from there. If there is valid reason behind the RP situation, then remind the player that this is just how the server is sometimes, if it had resulted in a PK (player-character kill) then tell them to appeal it on the forums, otherwise just make a new character

7 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish him however he does not agree with your decision and keeps arguing: Remind him that the staff on the server have the final say in terms of situations and that if the punished disagrees, they can gladly take it to the forums under a staff-abuse thread, supply them with the forum link to the staff-abuse thread page and return them, if they continue this behavior, proceed with mutes/gags and ask them to calm down and take it to the forums. Repeated offenses of this after lifting the mute/gag will result in punishment, so would ways of circumventing the mute or gag

8 ) Someone commits FailRP but claims the specific instance of FailRP you warned him for is not explained in detail within the rules: This depends on severity and common sense. First apply the FailRP situation to the rules, then to real-life, explain that the specific actions of the accused wouldn't be applicable in a sense of the character, the rules, or if you theoretically applied the situation to Real-Life. Otherwise get them to elaborate and debate it there. If the accused is not accepting, ask them to submit an appeal for their warn before resuming staff duty

9 ) A player evidently breaks a rule however he makes a good point in his defense by abusing loopholes within the rules: Advise him to not look for loopholes in rules, verbally warn him for using the loophole, and depending on the severity of the rule broken, give the normal punishment, whilst they have still broken a rule, they have provided you with information on a loophole that can then be given attention to to amend in the rules.

Answer the following questions in detail:

1 ) Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments: As far as I have been aware: Tier I is Low-level rule breaks and mostly accidental stuff, such as AccidentalRDM, Acciental spam, etc. Tier II rule-breaking however is a person being in full-understanding of the rules and still breaking them, along with moderate infractions such as VRDM, RDM, Etc.

2 ) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming in relation with the two: IC means information, actions, reactions, smells, sights, etc, that your character would be affected by, but not you, stuff spoken to you by other characters would be IC information, such as an NPC giving your character a quest, that's IC. OOC means everything that wouldn't affect your character, such as stuff said by staff in staff sits, Discord chats, Teamspeak, OOC chat in game, etc. This is information that you as a real-world person would see, but not your character. MetaGaming is where you take information from an OOC form, such as In-game OOC chat, and use that information in-game, an example would be if you were a fresh character, and managed to read the CP radio guide, and somehow knew what all their radio chatter and code-phrases meant.

3 ) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP: Serious RP focuses on roleplay aspects such as actions, what you say, and what decision you make to have an impact on RP, rule-breaking is taken very seriously, however most times by an in-character job, making sure there is limited staff interaction unless explicitly needed, this isn't to say that staff aren't needed, it's just that most roleplay is self-contained. Semi-Serious is where roleplay is less "restricted" and time-based and more on the more "video-gamey" aspects of Roleplaying. Staff interaction is more commonplace and some rules aren't necessary due to their environment being more prevalent in SeriousRP

4 ) Define PassiveRP and explain its role and importance in a serious RP gamemode, also explain your view on the two within our gamemode: PassiveRP is defined mostly as something that takes place outside of main-line roleplay, like menial tasks in a way, stuff like general conversation, getting healed, eating and drinking is mostly considered PassiveRP, it is something that will come and go, like an inspection on a Military base, it's more a regular thing. It can also be something that does not involve an entire server, such as running a small market stall. It is important as it allows a much more natural feeling and progression, further building a world around the server and it's story. My view on PassiveRP in a seriousRP gamemode is incredibly positive as not only does it help stop the server from feeling bland, but just the tiniest pushes from what occurs in PassiveRP can have a major impact on what happens in the game itself. SeriousRP on the other hand is a core component of what the server and it's gamemode are at it's core, without serious RP, the game would not function.

5 ) Define the term of Combat Baiting: Combat baiting is fairly self explanatory, it is where a player, performs certain actions in hopes to trigger CombatRP, such as purposefully engaging violently against CP, or acting in an uncharacteristic manner to result in a fight, sometimes this can be done in an attempt to get the baited in trouble for breaking another rule, or going against something mentioned IC. Combat Baiting is considered a punishable offense by most standards, and can also lead into other rule breaks

6 ) Define Power Gaming / Power RP: Powergaming or PowerRP is defined as the act of doing stuff that you physically or mentally shouldn't be able to do, such as having a weapon when you don't, being overly athletic, or performing more actions within an appropriate time-frame, essentially acting in a way that shows more power than the common person and/or what your job should be able of doing: E.G OTA would have some leniency with Powergame as they are literally augmented.

7 ) Define the term FailRP: FailRP is defined as failing to roleplay in the appropriate/according/acceptable manner, doing something that is not what your character would be allowed or able to do when under restrictions, Powergaming is similar to this, but Powergame mostly focuses on the aspect of impossibility, where as FailRP focuses on the aspect of Improbability and situational actions, such as you wouldn't be able to use a door's touchpad if you were in cuffs, or you wouldn't be able to open a door that works on a keycard with a lockpick

8 ) Define the term FearRP: FearRP is defined as taking actions whilst under the influence of fear that you wouldn't be able to do. The most common example of FearRP is being at gunpoint, regardless of your character's backstory, you would still be fearing for your life if placed at gunpoint, you wouldn't retaliate, you wouldn't pull out a weapon, and you wouldn't do something that would result in you risking your life.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

There are several reasons why I believe I am a good pick for staff within HLRP, the following is an assortment of Online and RL examples which I can apply to a staff role:
I am a well-spoken, hardworking and responsible individual, I can complete a task when given instructions and I have vast experience when communicating with the public, I can prioritize workloads and will willingly put myself forward for when work needs to be done.

I like to learn about and partake in different activities that allow me to broaden my skill set and learn new things. I am a quick learner and will be able to pick things up easily if things change, I am able to adapt well to tasks or issues and address them as they arise

During years 10 through 11, I partook in the school’s peer mentor scheme. Through my actions during this time I was awarded with a Princess Diana award and a Golden Lion’s Certificate. I believe that this shows that I am willing to help others and have developed my communication skills when talking to my peers and my mentors.

Since 2017 I have been a Voluntary Police Cadet working alongside Humberside police. I have been involved in numerous police engagements with the public and local schools showing my ability to communicate well with people of all backgrounds and ages. I have been presented with the honour of being nominated as cadet of the year in Humberside and I’ve been given the honour of meeting two High Sheriffs as a representative of the Police Cadets. This shows my reliability as a representative for a group as well as dedication.

I have volunteered my time at my school’s sports day event, helping organise sporting events for the other year groups. This shows my use of organisation skills and communication skills with my peers.

I have participated as a member of the 2018 NCS scheme and during phase 3 have helped raise over £250.00, through a sponsored walk and car-boot sale, for a charity called ‘The Hinge’. Due to completing the scheme, I have received a certificate signed by Teresa May congratulating my success. This shows my skills with money handling, organisation, teamwork and communication skills as well as timekeeping and reliability.

I have experience running multiple Trainings within RRP and SWRP and have also built and run D&D campaigns of my own creation, showing a sum of skills applicable to that of the Event-staff roles, as that is where I have previously expressed my interests in. I also have the necessary understanding of ULX commands, gameplay, and roleplay to be able to run these events
I have continuously given my time as staff to Werwolf Gaming, having been staff twice on DarkRP, once on Rust and SCPRP and have also involved myself in the early stages of development, organising and assisting in the creation of spreadsheets, word documents, handbooks, radio guides and also general lore, I had even volunteered to assist Worm in the coding and development and have even helped in testing the server, finding issues.

I have, throughout the development stages of HLRP, shown myself to be trustworthy in words and action as I have only discussed development in-depth with other members of the Development team for HLRP.

With that, I thank the hierarchy for taking their time to read through my application for staff, and in my closing words hope to show my further expression for the vacant Event Manager position, in hopes of getting accepted, either working up to that spot, or being selected to fill it at the discretion of the server Hierarchy.

    Many thanks
    Sincerely
    GamingGoombah/Tony Bamboni/Dirty
