  2. -1 only reason being because 1) no idea what the play time is 2) never seen you before, not just time zones either. You either don't play the server much or don't make much of a difference to RP. You should try getting involved a bit more 3) there are 2 types of text in this: one is a normal sized font with iffy grammar, missing capitalisation etc. And there is a second which is much smaller and perfect grammar. I'll do each on a separate page giving how it would go, the reasons and how I think it would help the server, etc. The only reason I suggest both is because if you buff CI and Maxwellists appears outa nowhere with max slots, they would destroy surface. Okay first thing, removing Maxwellism. Not now: as they have just done tryouts, but later, they should be put out of their misery. You rarely ever see 1 person online, maybe a second too. Think about when was the last time they made a massive difference to an event or RP. A few weeks? Maybe a month? We've all been caught up training for Nu-7 or testing out all the other jobs and getting the new white lists to actually notice how bad COTBG has been doing recently. Removing it and offering some veteran members + management a place in CI would make this fair. After they went full passive RP, nobody played their job as people normally joined them due to their massive raids, destruction of PD, and take over of surface under their regime. All they do now is quietly sit in a corner and sell drones and servers. To sum it up: it's dead, needs to be removed (later, maybe a few weeks) and former members should be compensated by a position in CI. Next on the list, buffing CI. This will be longer, so I'll split it into 2 parts, how I think they should do it and why: Firstly, overhaul of ranks to something more CI styled. Delta -> Gamma -> Beta -> Alpha then Sigma's recruited out of the civilian populace. Deltas would stay as they are. 1 slot WL, frags, decent assault rifles, all disguises for CI, etc, etc. Gammas would have 3 slots WL, and basically operative guns, and some more basic disguises so no NCO disguise and other higher-up disguises such as A-1. Betas would be 3 slot Plat-vip level 40, and be identical to the current infiltrators minus a few disguises which are hard to obtain, like A-1, NCO, Enlisted unit, B-7, E-11. Alphas would be 2 slot non-vip level 35, and would have a weak SMG, preferably a MAC-11, and a bunch of pistols. They don't need disguises or a lockpick and hacking card, we don't need random raids coming from them. They are essentially cannon fodder for CI. The reason for lower level and no VIP rank is so that new people without VIP are able to test out CI and get a feel for it before buying VIP or applying for the white list. It helps both the WL and Harland keep the server running, for the WL it has people get a feel of how CI would run and give them experience of working with members. The other reason is obvious. 9 slots in total: guns varying from AR-15s and AKs to UMPs and Kriss Vectors to MAC-11s and M1911s. Reasons: A few days after CI was un-WL, a thread was made to make a WL again. A few days. It's been a few months now. Current CI players are constantly being wrangled by deltas or more experienced CI to stop them: raiding, random raiding, killing Foundation without knowing they are and the list goes on. Last week, we saw a CI walk into a random base which he thought was the CI base because it was the same dupe in the same place. Guess what he did? Gunned down all 3 of the owners and acted sooo confused and 'it was our base last time'. Retards like this need to be stopped before they actually ruin CI's reputation: but I feel like they already have. Yes, there are good CI players, and I do respect them as they have good strategies and follow orders. And this system works for them, but it doesn't for the 9 year old with the SCP secret lab profile picture. If we do update for this, good CI players should easily be able to get the WL and climb the ranks while people who don't know what CI stands for stay down low with only playing the weaker jobs. Everybody who is a CI delta or plays CI regularly understands these problems, and would probably sympathise with others how everyday we must demote a kid for lockpicking the blue door while 5 Nu-7 are in the subway. Reminder: you don't have to update it my way. That's just a suggestion on how to do it and I think how it should be done rather than 'infiltrator' and 'operative'. I know I shouldn't speak for the management of both these jobs and if this does get accepted in any way, shape or form they can change it however they want. Both pages are separate suggestions just merged into 1 thread, as they go together as sort of 'GOI update'. Given a guideline of how I think it should be done to combat the 11+ Nu-7, and not to mention the rest of the MTFs who combat raids regularly such as O-1, A-1, E-11, B-7 (wait, all of them?) and even security and CMs sometimes. Please do suggest any edits you would make to this rather than just -1ing (but still -1 it) but if you truly are an anarchist, please do feel free to -1 the whole thing.

They can craft things ranging from simple ammunition crates and boxes, to specialised ammo types and gas masks all the way to grenade launchers and ammo for it. Without them, the foundation wouldn't be able to supply itself and soon fade away as GOIs raid them and the armed task forces have no ammo to beat them with. Why do you think you'll be a good fit for the Head of Manufacturing?: I am active: on most of the time. Also I am good at communicating with people to get them what they need and giving out orders to the MD personnel, so they can position themselves where supplies are needed the most and that they are doing their job well. I have experience in MD too, so I know the basics of giving out supplies, what each thing does and which are normally needed the most.

  6. +1 - makes sense - containment cuffs annoying to break out of - why not - perhaps a new set of cuffs to solve the issues with this sort of thing... custom so that if it cuffs 173/096/1048 it changes durability

  13. -1 the idea is good and all, but just can't be balanced, and the current balancing idea you have are a bit too much, yet not enough. which means this can never be balanced without ruining the infiltrator's allowances/gear heavily. plus what about disguises in the EZ armoury? won't other people see them get one on? you can hold suspicion on somebody for putting on a foundation disguise, so a new spawn/rule change is required for that. CI infiltrators can get in with relative ease, just requires either a bunch of coincidences, a dumb field agent or the key anomaly. All of those are alarm free, just require the infiltrator to not be retarded. And I see why you made this post, because most are retard 1 day play time; from level 15 to level 50 plat vip players, and can't know the difference between SCP RP and SCP secret lab. with a bit of waiting and foundation comms, you can wait for somebody to speak on them near you, and then cuff them, all in accordance to the rules. bring them down to MT with your CI pals, make them open the door and then execute them for knowing too much, and you having finished all you business with them. Boom, you just got inside, no alarms, no responders. every other CI infiltrator: hack GA alone, rush down, die at elevator. Boom, you got a 20m raid timer now. but all you gotta do is demote those people or just keep them occupied so they don't do anything stupid so yeah let me just make my point again: don't need it, this is probably just for the retards that we see every day

Omega-1, "Law's Left Hand" is a mobile task force designated to assist the ECM and enforce Foundation law. They hand out punishments to those who break it, can act as a combative force in order to subdue riots, raids and other things which need a lot of guns to be used, and also guard the EZ cells to make sure nobody trespasses in them or people escape from the cells. What would you do if there’s no Ethics Committee Member on-site? I would follow orders from the commander, if there is one. If there is no commander, I would take orders from the O5 or SD, whichever one is highest and online. Normally in this situation, I would patrol the site/around EZ looking for people who are breaking Foundation law in any way or are just behaving delinquently, and either get them to stop or arrest them and hand out a punishment to them. An O5 member is ordering you to detain an ECM while the ECM is ordering you to stand down. Who do you listen to and why? I would listen to the ECM, as we serve the ECM and do what is right for the Foundation law. I would stand down and not arrest the ECM, and follow any further orders he provides me. Why do you believe we should accept you into Omega-1? I have been playing on the server for a long time, I know the law kind of well and I recognise it, and I am mature and do not minge. I remain mature at all times while on job which require it and I will do so in Omega-1. I can be trusted not to abuse my power and to not go rogue while on the job. Alpha-1 units are preventing a lawful arrest of an O5 council member and are shooting upon you while ordering you to stand down. What do you do and why? I would try and tell the alpha-1 to stop firing, and explain that the law requires him to be arrested so a punishment can be dealt out accordingly. If they do not stand down, we would have to open fire upon the A-1 and attempt to arrest the O5 from there by force.

  16. 1) what's wrong with 500 EXP and cash? It let's newer guards get some EXP to get easy levels by guarding D block and also pay for their equipment. Must say they could increase it based on their job (so GOIs and MTFs give more than D class and unarmed personnel and civs) 2) is this an unban request or a suggestion
  17. this is gonna take a while to write TL;DR at bottom in FAQ You read the title, so you know what it is about. Gonna quickly explain what to change, and then why for each and answer some FAQ. 1) Give SWAT units and the chief AR-15 instead of an MP5/P90, give SWAT stun guns, and give SWATs them XM1014/M1014 (depending on how OP the rest seems) aswell. - SWAT stands for Special Weapons And Tactics. Emphasis on weapons. SWAT teams IRL would get a much bigger arsenal than just an MP5 and some crappy shotgun (M3 super 90). -An AR-15 is used by law enforcement agencies and would fit in with the current guns they get. Balancing this may be an issue as the AR-15 is very powerful, and even Nu-7 don't get it. - M3 super 90 is... I don't need to say any more. It doesn't even deal 100 damage, which is enough to kill an unarmoured person. That means, even if they don't heal after getting their armour destroyed, this gun will NOT kill them with all of its shots hitting their body. At point blank. It MAY kill them if some of its shots hit the head, but remember that it does terrible damage, and is likely not to kill someone due to its damage. Replace with one of the 2 I mentioned due to them being used more lawfully and they are much more modern (more so that something such as a Winchester or DB which are essentially used for hunting) and will be more balanced than something such as a serbu. - Stun guns make sense, only 1 person in the PD gets this right now which is the police chief. Everybody has to agree that, a lot of people die to people who resist arrest. Giving 3 more people in the PD stun guns will decrease the amount of deaths happening in ovis city due to people who just resist arrest, and let PD use a non-lethal method of stopping people running. Even if the rest of this threat gets denied, I want to see this in the game. Badly. SO many deaths are caused by people resisting arrest as I said before, and with this, it will reduce them dramatically. - Balancing will be an issue, and is the main one. SWAT is level 25 (I think) and a level 25 with an AR-15 and stun gun may be grounds for a lot of RDM of civs and abuse of power. People claim PD is a 'secondary power' which is meant to be controlled or black mailed. PD can still be controlled, mainly by diplomacy, and by their urge to do something, such as keep MCND's supply chain going for them and the citizens, therefore giving them an alliance. They may also be controlled via diplomacy to protect Foundation which still lets them control the PD. There are plenty more examples but I will just carry on with my points. - PD is NOT a secondary faction. They enforce the laws of the city and with 8 slots, struggle with the 4 GOIs (not including Foundation) which reside on there, when all 8 slots are not taken, not to mention things such as field agents which infiltrate them and cause issues inside the PD's ranks. They have the funding of their country's government and should use that funding so (as to buy the aforementioned weapons) to make ovis more stable. The government own the city and in the game, are losing control of it. Remember that all 8 slots aren't normally taken, and it is common for only 2-5 to be taken when a good mayor is on and surface RP is nice and ripe. Giving them decent weapons allows them to content with MCND with their huge selection of gear when the salesman is online and they are hostile with PD, and to assist smaller GOIs like GOC when they are low on members and need assistance from the local law enforcement. 2) Give the mayor the ability to buy an M1911 in the equipment locker. - Mayor is allowed pistols, and an M1911 is a pretty weak pistol which he can use every life instead of having to buy it from MCND, in which the salesman isn't on normally. He is still able to buy better pistols such as the desert eagle from them if he so chooses to, and a pistol bag aswell if he does not like the M1911. Realistically, in a city where every citizen has an AK and is a potential terrorist and member of the anomalous community, the mayor of the city would carry a small fire arm in case of the worst. - Mayor can buy M1911 from salesman though? Well, yes, but no. Salesmen, as mentioned before, are hardly online and there are not many. Even then there is around a 50/50 chance for them to be hostile, and if they are, then the mayor won't be able to get a pistol that way. Then he will get the bare minimum, the provided M1911, to protect himself. - Not much else for this as I have mentioned most of the reasoning above. Some may argue that he shouldn't get it and just buy it from MCND but I have counter argued that above. FAQ: Q: is this just for pd bumliccs A: no it's meant to improve the PD overall, for any mayor, and not just for berg/curtis worshippers. maybe them aswell, but designed to improve when PD is active with any mayor Q: I have a small thing want to change A: suggest it in comments.   19. bully 5 slot mcnd with 7 slot MTF which only purpose is to bully mcnd which isn't even full 99% of the time. there isn't a salesman on 80% of the time and i get that you give them good gear to counter their OP gear but seriously stop bully inactive mcnd buy that 1 anomaly from mcnd boom job done now to fuck them over with our battering rams and AR-15s and 2 DIFFERENT FUCKING SCARS and all of our other guns which the 5 slot mcnd gets this will kill mcnd even though its already pretty much dead, like, bruh if you got this with TCS still on server it may have had a slight bit more chance at living but without 7 slots and maybe 5 and less OP gear, but even then this is a task force designed to kill mcnd so it wont even survive there everybody else has mentioned the other shit wrong with this like ranks and if you haven't gotten my main point yet; -1
  20. -1 (for now) Maybe its peer pressure from all the other -1s. Maybe it's just because UIU won't work right now. GOC is already in the server which represents the 'good' and 'orderly' side of the anomalous community, who essentially do things for the people and for the better of them rather than for themselves. I do think UIU should be added on the server again soon. Maybe after church is removed (which I do think will be removed soon due to inactivity and sarkics no longer existing so church's biggest enemy is gone) and GOC becomes a bit old. The previous UIU was inactive and did fuck all, and GOIs just crushed it most of the time. Yeah, they did the odd good raid that they could flex, but for the most part it was just the 1 person who ONLY played UIU, and didn't play anything else. All agents should get arrest batons seeing as they, well, are the FBI, and have the power to arrest people. And maybe some extra guns etc. to add some variety to what they can buy I think it, overall, would do great in the server just... not at it's current state and not with the current gear/purposes/allowances.   22. This is like, really obvious. Every job with any cuffs gets tactical restraints, and using police cuffs is REALLY annoying as it takes forever to apply and even longer to take off. Like, if anybody have any downsides to this I'd be genuinely surprised.
