I like the application, however there are a few things in minor detail. Fusion has explained to me about his situation with dyslexia and there are obviously a few minor spelling mistakes. Fusion Has previous experience as staff on other servers which makes him a great candidate for staff. I believe he should be trusted with power like this as he has also reached multiple high ranks in SWRP which shows dedication and hard work to the server and community. Overall I believe the positives outweigh the negatives.

Known him throughout the old GM days and to be fair back then he was a minge but I can definitely say that throughout his time in CG he has improved and become a lot more competent. Also Evilgejf I don’t know who you’re calling a minge when you’re blacklisted from almost every regiment and you have more than 20 warns.

As others have stated as CG VC you did a great job.
(Kinda hypocritical from my past but it is what it is) However since leaving CG VC you have been GC, CE and back to CG within very little timing. What is to say that you don't as evil said leave once HL is released.
Personally I believe that you are completely competent for the role however the role would be best used by someone else.

From my personal experience with Meep, he has been extremely nice to me and when I joined GC he took me under his wing and helped me throughout the regiment. I think he can uphold the responsibility of Event Planner as of his effort and dedication to GC on a whole seeming as he has a high rank there as a Colonel.

People have commented on his tendency to be slightly toxic and/or immature at times which could be a problem but others have said they didn't have a problem. For this, i'll leave this as a neutral point.

Hybrid I dont think you comment on immaturity or things in that nature as you been a quite a big minge and for him to get VC shows that he is mature

Has recently left CGVC but still has that experience and in Jedi he has put alot of effort in.

Improved alot since he used to be a SO. Proved he can get hierarchy after people doubted him.

He shows a lot of dedication and is very active on the server, moving onto his application it is very detailed and his event plan seems like it would be a very fun event to partake in. He is a pretty friendly and approachable guy whenever I talk to him and he is extremely competent.

What your suggestion is: As you all should or do know the Platinum / Regular VIP RM Job has a F4 Speeder entity, the only problem with this is most Republic Mercenaries go as said job to minge, get AOS'd then normally kill themselves on the speeder or get off, there is no physical way to arrest someone on a speeder so it would be an endless chase which is quite irritating and boring. In addition to this the fact that RM think they can get an easy way out of the AOS by killing themselves with the speeder by boosting into a wall is also fail RP. The RRM also has the speeder in their F4 menu but personally I dont think it should be removed from that job as it is a paid whitelist and the Platinum / Regular VIP is like a sort of bundle but with the RRM it is a price for one job.

State the role of staff on the server: The role of a member of staff on a server e.g an RP server is to make sure that roleplay is running smooth, nobody is breaking any OOC rules and to intervene if someone breaks an OOC rule in an IC situation. They are tasked with making sure that the server is always maintained as seriously IC and they are to monitor any behaviour that could ruin anybody's RP experience on the server. They are also tasked to maintain a sensible and serious attitude and to help newer players on what to do on the server if they are unsure of anything. Staff should normally be professional and maintain a good attitude when helping new people as it also creates a good image on the server as a whole.

Give some context about the setting of C24 within the Half Life universe (150 words): C24 (Otherwise known as the "Royal City") is one of the 186 major  cities built and under control by the UU and the combine. C24 is located in the former city of Geneva of the country Switzerland. They made this city look like a glamourous city like it was better than the rest. However beneath the lies and deceit it was just as controlling and just as unfair as the other cities of Earth. The city itself is covered in C24 and combines propaganda around the city. The residents of the city are restricted from leaving the City as the Combine have taken natural resources and destroyed the outside of the city and blocked off all possible exits to contain and control the civilians as much as they can. The City consisted of multiple factions, Civil Protection ( The Peacekeepers of the city), Lamba ( The resistance of the combine's rule), The CWU ( The Civil Workers Union which were supporters of the combine and had somewhat better living standards than the regular civilians.) It is considered the so-called " Royal City" as it is portrayed to be a lot more free than other cities and they actually have a say in politics and actually get a right to vote. (210 words)

Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? No as they are not out yet.

Have you read the punishment list and are familiar with it?: No, as they haven't been released yet.

List of all previous server staff experience: I do not possess any experience in being a staff member but I am extremely eager to learn and personally I do believe I am a fast learner, I am also a good listener which could help me to understand how to do things better and actually execute them. Also with a good memory I can remember a lot of the server rules so if I see one being broken I won't be having to check if they are breaking it or not and I can just quickly act upon it.

List of all previous RP experience:I have played RP on GTA however mainly to mess around as I was a lot younger. I first joined an actual roleplay community in 2019 as I was introduced to W-G on Garry's Mod by one of my friends. I started off playing Star wars RP and reached the Rank of GM LCOL before resigning to join CG. At the moment in time that I am writing this application I am the Vice Commander of CG. In 2020, I began to explore other servers in W-G other than star wars and joined NRP and became an NSDAP Hauparbeitslieter and an Ordungspolizei Rottmeister. I know these aren't very high ranks, however I was mainly just seeing how the other servers in the community were like incase I wanted to ever join them.

Have you added the Manager on Steam? If not, add him: Yes, I have indeed.

Have you added the Vice-Manager on Steam? If not, add him: I have indeed.

Have you added the Staff Manager on Steam? If not, add him: I have indeed

Do you understand that you can be demoted at any time with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I do understand this fully and I am willing to accept a punishment if deemed fit.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

1 ) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people: I would teleport to the player who reported him and take him to an OOC area, I would check logs and see if I could find anything useful and I would ask him if he had any sort of evidence e.g a recording to back up his case. If he does provide some recording I would bring the person who RDM'd and ask him what he did and what his intentions were. If it was RDM, I would follow the warning guidelines and warn if necessary.

2 ) You are asked by a player about how to join a faction: Right now I am unsure how the process works but when the server comes out I think I would have a good idea on how to explain to him/her to join the faction of their choice. However if it was something like a headcrab it would most likely be used in events as an EC from what I know so I would tell them that if they asked about it.

3 ) You catch somebody not performing RP and messing around: This could mean multiple things but if it was that they were running around with their physgun out or not following under gun point for example it would be FailRP, I would give them a verbal warning depending on the punishment system. If they continued to carry on messing around I would give them a warning. However, if they were just running around being disrespectful I would tell them to stop, ask them to apologise, if they carried on I would warn them for DTP/DTS.

4 ) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly:I would tell them to stop acting how they are acting and should act a lot more professionally for their rank. If they carried on depending what it was I would give him a suitable punishment and inform any of his higher rank that he doesn't deserve the rank he has obtained and explain what he has done wrong.

5 ) A player is prop spamming: If I saw this happen I would immediately act on it as it could crash the server to an extent, also they could to an extent, kill someone with the prop which is a warn for prop killing. However, if there was nobody killed I would bring him to an OOC area and tell him not to do it, if he carried on I would follow the punishment guide on what to do in the situation i.e a warning or a kick or even both.

6 ) Somebody does not agree with the outcome of an RP situation therefore he decides to break RP and act OOC: I would tell him to continue with the situation if there is no rules being broken, however if there is I would take the rule breaker to an OOC area and follow the punishment guide depending on what he has done so e.g the most likely punishment would be a warning, kick or even a ban to an extent.

7 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish him however he does not agree with your decision and keeps arguing:  I would talk to the guy and remain in a calm and professional manner, then I would explain where he went wrong exactly and explain in depth where he went wrong and why he gets the punishment for it, if he keeps  on arguing after that I would  tell him this exactly: "If you think the punishment I have given you is not suitable or unfair, you can appeal it on the W-G forums. But until then the punishment stays as it is."

8 ) Someone commits FailRP but claims the specific instance of FailRP you warned him for is not explained in detail within the rules:   I would have warned him depending on what it was i.e something that is common sense but if it was something not many people have known about I would've given him a verbal warning in the situation just because it is to give people a chance to improve and learn from the mistake they have just made.

9 ) A player evidently breaks a rule however he makes a good point in his defence by abusing loopholes within the rules: If he was abusing loopholes in the rules depending on how the punishment guide will turn out I would either verbally warn him or just warn him depending on severity and how he had abused them or even if they are on the punishment guide. I would explain regardless he has broken a rule so he will be given a suitable punishment for whichever rule he has broken on the server.

Answer the following questions in detail:

1 ) Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments: Tier I rule-breaking is when someone new to the server for example broke a rule in the server on accident or didn't know it was a rule so it was like a last chance sort of thing. If the warning was Tier II then it was either a repeated offence to before and were most likely given a Tier I warning or they had full intention to break said rule on the server. Tier II warnings can determine if further punishments should be brought in e.g a Ban, kick or another warning.

2 ) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming in relation with the two: IC is when you are actually taking part in the RP so for example you are a shop merchant and you set up a shop and sell food or clothing to civilians that is IC as you are taking part in RP. OOC is out of character so you could talk about stuff outside of the Roleplay universe for example in OOC chat you could talk about how you like to play another game like COD or something. Metagaming is taking OOC information e.g someone's location and applying it as IC evidence to back up for example a Lambda's location so you can arrest them as a CP.

3 ) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP: Serious RP requires a lot more build up and character development compared to semi serious which is more about getting the job done than actually RPing. Semi Serious are a lot less stricter with IC and OOC rules as in you tend to be let off with a lot more things which attracts a lot of people who just want to mess around.

4 ) Explain the difference between PassiveRP and CombatRP, explain your view on their importance in our gamemode: Passive RP is out of combat so when people have time to interact with other people and socialise. One example of Passive RP is using the /me command to preform and action in passive RP. I think Passive and Combat are just as important as each other as they both make up a lot of the RP and Passive is more of a lead up towards the combat as the passive is more story based and the combat is well as it is named

5 ) Define the term of Combat Baiting: Combat baiting is when someone deliberately tries to get someone into combat just so they can kill someone and when staff come they cannot get warned for RDM or ARDM as they had a reason to shoot back as they were shot first, this tends to be done by a lot of minges who dont really understand the concept of combat baiting as they just think it's a funny act supposedly.

6 ) Define Power Gaming / Power RP: Power gaming is when someone makes an action deliberately to make it that they always have a benefit i.e if someone gets cuffed by a CP and they do in chat "/me breaks out of cuffs" It would be classed as power gaming. This generally ruins RP experiences as it makes someone who is just trying to their job i.e taking someone into custody. It forces them to have to go along with losing and the powergamer generally gets his way no matter what.

7 ) Define the term FailRP: A lot of things are classed as "fail RP" but all together they are actions that someone should commit IC so for example Combat Baiting is FailRP so it isn't something people should be doing in RP. One example of failrp could be if someone is running around in the street with their physgun out. This is fail RP as in RP the person wouldn't have a physgun, if they just breifly pointed at something with it or if they were building it would be fine. However, if they had no reason to it would be FailRP.

8 ) Define the term FearRP: Fear RP is when something in real life would make you scared and I guess obedient to the one that is scaring you, an example would be a gun pointed to your head and if you break this it is breaking Fear RP which is Fail RP. This normally is broken by newer players as they don't know what is necessarily going on in the situation or also minges as they wouldn't really care and would just mess around and ruin the RP for the other person.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):
I am going to say now that I do not think anyone deserves staff anymore than anyone else, however I will explain what my good attributes and what I will bring to the staff team as a person and a potential staff member.

My strongest assets are the fact that I can always maintain a serious and unbiased attitude in situations and for an example I have been in SWRP for about 10 months now and 8 of those have been in CG, I have been a Staff officer for 7 months. 1 month was me progressing through the ranks. I have been in CG for a while and I have maintained a very professional attitude in my time in the regiment. Another one of my powerful assets is that I am quick to learn many things which could help with my understanding of staff. This has helped me understand the half life lore in a very short amount of time. It was about a month or two ago I started playing the half life series, and I was very intrigued by it. I also have a very good memory so things like lore and staff rules can be easy for me to remember.

Another one of my strongest attributes is that I have a very eager attitude to learn new things which can always help with things like learning important aspects of staff. I have a very passionate mindset for improving and learning to get better at what I have already learnt and what I know and good at. I always have an open mind when it comes to feedback and where to improve on anything.

The final strong attribute I think I bring to the server and the staff team is a lot of activity. Seeming as I have 2300 hours on Garry’s Mod, I hope it can show dedication and high activity in the future when the server has been released to the community. This will ensure if I do become a staff member I can be on the server at times when maybe there is no other staff on but I could be there to help the person who requires staff help.

I do think this server has a lot of potential and I am very excited to see it first launch whenever it does decide to be fully released. (394 Words)

(394 Words)
