Quick summary about you: (70 Words - Minimum) So i'm Barry, a 25 year old from Manchester. I work full time as an accountant (wont go into more detail on my job as its fucking mind numbing) and like to spend my time outside of working busting a phat leng on my PC. I spend way too much time playing gmod for my age but you can only watch pornhub so much eh.

Why should we pick you for Battalion: (200 Words - Minimum) I believe i would be a great fit for battalion as i have spent a considerable amount of time in my hierarchy role, currently over 4 months, and have in that time lead many events, i have also seen battalions side of leading already in my role of event planner, so understand some of the complications that can arise mid event and how to potentially mitigate the issues. I'd like to think i've made 501st a more enjoyable regiment for the people coming through and the ones already here, and feel confident that their testimonies would attest to that.

I am active even though I generally only manage 3 or so hours a night during the week, which will still give me more than enough time to lead an event/get my regimental training sorted out. I am probably known for my crude sense of humour but apart from two slight blips on my first night on the server I do not have any further warnings, showing that whilst I can say some pretty bait shit in OOC when in my IG character I take it seriously.

I have spoken with various members of the battalion so far in my time on the server and have personally got along with them all, so do not think integrating into battalion socially will be an issue.

 

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum) The role of battalion is to lead the server, they are to act responsibly at all times in their in character role and not only uphold the rules but be a role model to others. The roles of battalion members with battalion changes as they progress through battalion, these include:

Batt Officer Cadet-Batt Officer - Learning the ropes of battalion, listening to their mentors advice and gaining experience leading events
 

Batt 2nd LT- Batt 1st LT - Using the skills  they learnt at the lower ranks and continuing to lead events to their best, taking on additional responsibility of a specific regiment and helping the hierarchy of said regiment wherever needed.

Batt CPT-Batt commander - In addition to the above you are also expected to help mentor new members of battalion, whilst still upholding high standards.

Batt Brigadier+ - These are the battalion command ranks, where you will be expected to help monitor battalion as a whole, liaising with admirals regarding individuals performance and setting an example for the regiment.

Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank: Yes and will continue to uphold this ideal.

 

What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading? (IN DETAIL) A battalion member not currently leading will stay with his supervised regiment, during which time they will not actively micromanage how the regiments proceed to engage hostiles but instead offer help where needed.

 

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session? The three things that need to be done are:

1.    Leading a base attack

2.    Calling and leading a debrief

3.    Leading a training which consists of faces, formations and questions

 

What is the job of the Co-Leader during events? When Coleading a battalion member can help the leading battalion with call outs, aswell as ensuring all adverts are being accepted/denied in an orderly fashion
