  1. +1 From my past experiences with Mojave, they have mainly been positive. From time to time his behaviour had been poor within CG - whilst I was Commander - however he never let this dis motivate him, hence him being able to achieve the rank of Vice Commander. The only negative recently I can think of is your resignation, going from GC to CE and then back to CG within a short amount of time, but other than that I think you are the most suited candidate so far other than Corn. I think people using HL as an excuse to leave negative feedback don't actually realise that people can balance out their time on each server. Being Battalion, you don't need to be as active as some may say. Either way, best of luck.
  2. +1 Probably the best candidate for Battalion currently, Corn is extremely active and competent within 501st. He has already achieved the rank of MJR, showing his dedication to WG.
  3. Probably should be a little more formal on what punishments you have been given, so it is clear to the people reading and accepting your application. Other than that, the overall application looks very good. A little informal in places, however you have shown that you know how to produce good events. The event idea is strong, alongside the Jedi idea which is pretty good too. I won't go into much detail as you have had experience as EP before. Seeing as this is another attempt at EP, I think this time he should be selected. Even if there are doubts, he will be put onto a trial period so if he does fuck up he can be demoted etc. I think Silent deserves another chance at EP and would overall do a good job. Also, 21 weeks wtf +1
  4. -1 No offence but the only reason you seem inactive is because you are. You have been at the rank of Battalion CPT for at least 11 weeks now, I understand your 4 week LOA however before you were still extremely inactive doing the bare minimum. I guess you getting EP could then encourage you to come on more to do minimums etc, however from my point of view it looks highly unlikely. Now moving onto the event itself, which has a lack of detail and effort put into it. This type of event has already been done. I understand it is hard to come up with originality which is fine, however in your first event for EP Management to see, they want to see creativity and thought put into it at a bare minimum. Having literally nothing except JHD for Jedi to fight is probably the worst thing you could do in an event, especially for your application. The event itself for Clones is okay, has a decent idea behind it but there isn't much creativity that has been put into it. Also, there is no need to say which select regiments do what, you are applying for EP not Battalion. Overall Unlucky, you are a nice person, however your lack of imagination in your application alongside your lack of activity IC shows that you are not suitable for EP in my opinion. If I was you, I would first try to reach the rank of Battalion MJR, to show an increase of activity and effort put into Battalion as you usually just do minimums. Then I would come up with a decent event plan - which includes Jedi.
  5. +1 In the past whilst Fusion was in GM and also GC, he was not the best behaved. He was demoted in GC, and blacklisted from GM. He was also been blacklisted from Jedi. With this, Fusion has improved his behaviour tremendously, proving that by reaching the rank of Major - within CT, which I personally think have the most disciplined members - and has also been unblacklisted by Jedi. He leads CT well, and is fairly active too. I think Fusion deserves a shot at Battalion, and if he does return to his old ways, he obviously can be kicked as BOC and BO are mainly a trial period. Good luck.
  6. +1 Very active and competent. Good luck!
  7. +1 Even if EP, I still think he would make a good member. Although lacking on events (The whole EP team) Navas bangs out around 10 events each week which is insane, he deserves this 100%.
  8. -1 It was a comm ban as it was due to player pulling, but it was revoked.
  9. +1 Has matured during 501st, reaching high ranks and even getting a trial period. I don't really know Nathan but he is a mature lad, seems competent and I am sure he would make a decent staff member. Has also had past experience, but that's already been mentioned.
  10. -1 I only heard about you because I think you bought a legendary off Harland or something, if not then wrong person however I still dont know you.
  11. Neutral Chill guy Seems mature Reading the 100 - 150 hours a week made me laugh though, there is only 168 hours in one week, so you are gonna sleep 3 hours every night to play SWRP? I don't think so man. Either way, good luck.
  12. Big up man like Jendo. Very dedicated to WG, filling in the role of Commander showing maturity, and all round very active. +1
  13. -1 No way could I see you being on this server for more than 40 hours per week. You have been at the rank of Battalion CPT for 8 weeks + your 3 week LOA. I really don't think you would be a good choice for staff AT ALL. However, pretty nice guy but I haven't interacted with you all that much. Best of luck.
  14. Neutral / -1 Well written application, however in the past when Peacekeeper whilst I was CG Commander, you have been toxic towards members of CG, even if they were towards you first. Causing unnecessary drama and not responding well to actual constructive criticism. You then began talking poorly about Hierarchy behind their backs, and to us as well after you were blacklisted. You have been unblacklisted now, showing improvement, however I do not have contact with you so personally I don't know if that is just because it has been a while. Either way, best of luck.
  15. +1 6 warns, however has been a part of the community for quite a long time, being able to achieve high IC ranks showing how he has matured. Portal would definitely be a good staff member.
  16. +1 However would only have it on for a certain amount of time Should be pushed on either Defcon 2 or 1 Should last maybe 30 seconds or so, or if it is Defcon 1 it should last until everyone has evacuated

They are to also take staff sits when needed. Give some context about setting of C24 within the Half Life universe (150 words+): City 24 is one of the 186 cities which are located on Earth. C24 is located in Geneva, Switzerland and is controlled by the inter dimensional forces, also known as the Combine. The modest city stands out from the rest due to their large structures and skyscrapers within the city itself. These buildings were used as a garrison by the Combine, alongside living spaces and social areas where people resided. These large buildings were heavily fortified and had constant, heavy patrols performed by the Combine to ensure protection of their personal garrison. The Combine originally took control of C24 after the seven hour long war, where Humans had tried to fight off the Combines harsh forces, but ultimately being forced to surrender within only seven hours. People referred to C24 itself as the “Royal City”, however within it there is a harsh dictatorship and ruling. The Combine used harsh brutality towards the civilians also to make sure no one tried to rebel. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them?: N/A Have you read the punishment list and are familiar with it?: N/A List of all previous server staff experience: EP on SWRP (Granted to apply by SWRP Manager and Event Manager) List of all previous RP experience: SWRP: CG Commander / DU Temporary Commander / Battalion Officer (As of current) Have you added the Manager on Steam? If not, add him (http://steamcommunity.com/id/RUN_YOU_FOOL I have sent a friend request Have you added the Vice-Manager on Steam? If not, add him (https://steamcommunity.com/id/thatgardentool/ I have sent a friend request Have you added the Staff Manager on Steam? If not, add him (https://steamcommunity.com/id/UNJoe/ I have sent a friend request Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people: I would first bring this player who is reporting to me in an OOC area, so no ones RP is affected. I will talk to them and ask them to explain to me what had happened, and who did it. I would then ask for them to gather any evidence (Screenshots, video recordings) whilst I myself would look through logs. If I am provided evidence alongside it matching with logs, I will then pull that reported player and confront them on what they did. I will act calm as I do not want to upset them, however I will deal with it and punish them as necessary, even if I personally know them. I would listen to them, and then proceed to punish them accordingly (as the punishment list has not been created yet). 2 ) You are asked by a player about how to join a faction: I would first explain each faction and how they work (If said person does not know what they do) Then I would ask which they would like to join. I would then tell them which are open, and which are invite only. They will decide, and I will further guide them on how to join that faction. 3 ) You catch somebody not performing RP and messing around: I would first take them out of the RP situation as they are not hear to RP. I will then talk to them about what they did, telling them what they did wrong and how they need to act appropriately. Then I would return them, allowing them to carry on with their RP actions. If they then carry on, I will punish them accordingly, most likely for NH2RP which on SWRP would first be a warn, and then a possible ban if they carried on further. 4 ) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly: I will first bring them out of the RP situation (Making sure the RP is first finished so I do not interfere) and let them know what they are doing wrong. If they are not a new player, I would then let them RP once again, however if they continue further, punishment will be laid out accordingly alongside a report going straight to their Hierarchy. If it was a new player, I will tell them what to do, and what not to do; if this player refuses to RP properly, punishments will be given alongside the report to their Hierarchy. 5 ) A player is prop spamming: I would bring them into a sit, either jailing and or freezing them to make sure they cannot spawn anymore props. Then I would either ask them to remove their props, or remove them myself. After this, I will either talk to them verbally, or just punish them depending on the mass amount of props they have spawned, and to hear their side of the story, if it was intentional or not. If I allow them to continue RP, I would then spectate them to see if they carry on. If they do, I will then once again freeze them, remove the props and then punish them accordingly. 6 ) Somebody does not agree with the outcome of an RP situation therefore he decides to break RP and act OOC: I will explain to him that not everything can go his way, and tell him to stop. If he carries on then I will punish them for FailRP etc. 7 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish him however he does not agree with your decision and keeps arguing: I will go through with my punishment. Then, I may ask an opinion from another staff member, and may edit my punishment by that. If they still disagree, I will tell them that they may complain on the forums (giving him a link if needed), but to not carry it on in game or with /ooc otherwise further punishment will happen. 8 ) Someone commits FailRP but claims the specific instance of FailRP you warned him for is not explained in detail within the rules: I will tell him that not everything in the rules is exactly specific, but they aren’t allowed to try and find loopholes around the rules. I would then ask for another staff members opinion, and act accordingly. 9 ) A player evidently breaks a rule however he makes a good point in his defence by abusing loopholes within the rules: I will carry on with the punishment, stating that he is not allowed to use loopholes to his advantage, however I will bring it up with higher ups, possibly SMT asking them to address it for future situations. Answer the following questions in detail: 1 ) Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments: Tier I punishments are used on players who broke the rule unintentionally, or it was a misunderstanding. It also applies to new players or if it was just simply an accident. Tier II warnings are used on players who purposely broke the rule, or if they constantly broke the rule itself. 2 ) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming in relation with the two: IC means In character. When IC, you will roleplay as your own personal character, you would act how that character would act, and you would develop different opinions and feelings about the environment around you. You will act like you would as if you were actually there, therefore IC meaning IN character. OOC stands for Out of character. This applies for anything out of character, such as staff sits, or things which are talked about which don’t apply/aren’t in the half life universe, but these are only talked about in the OOC chat, and never in character, otherwise it can be considered FailRP. If you are playing IC, however you let an OOC situation change your gameplay IC, that can be considered meta gaming, as you are using OOC knowledge to act differently IC. For example, if an event was about to occur but IC you did not know, and you prepare yourself IC by buying weapons, setting up in a bunker or any other related example, this could go as meta gaming. 3 ) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP: Serious RP is where what you say and do affects yourself as a character and others. Semi-Serious RP is where you are mainly IC, however you can sometimes speak IC about OOC things without result of punishment, or maybe just a minor one. 4 ) Explain the difference between PassiveRP and CombatRP, explain your view on their importance in our gamemode: The difference between Passive and Combat RP are very simple. When in passive RP, your character develops as you play the game, alongside each faction which may develop as time goes on, recruiting new members and performing trainings to approve your skills and abilities. Combat RP is where there is a combat situation, where there is conflict and fighting happening that you actively participate in. 5 ) Define the term of Combat Baiting: Combat baiting is where you actively try to initiate combat without any proper reasoning for it. It can also be where you try to seek Combat RP when in a Passive RP situation, and force combat to occur instead of letting it passively happen. Combat baiting is frowned upon on almost every server. 6 ) Define Power Gaming / Power RP: Power gaming is where someone performs an RP action which realistically they cannot perform, giving them an advantage against others. For example, if someone was cuffed, and they do “/me Uses massive muscles to break free from cuffs” that would be considered power gaming. 7 ) Define the term FailRP: Fail RP would be when a person performs an action which could not be possible in character. For example, if someone was gagged with “/me gags”, in character, they cannot speak. However if they carry on, they are breaking RP, hence Fail RP. 8 ) Define the term FearRP: Fear RP means that when playing IC you need to act like you would in real life. This means, if guns are presented to be pointed at you, you would fear your life, as if you only had one life. For example breaking Fear RP would be if for instance you have been stripped of your weapons, and someone pulls out a gun on you and you do not do as they say, that is breaking Fear RP. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): There are various reasons for me, being a suitable candidate for the Half Life staff team. The first one being my dedication. Ever since I joined the WG community back in late November of 2019, I have been on almost daily playing each server and learning on how to play and improve my personal RP. I enjoy playing RP servers due to the dedication of the staff team, ensuring I have a good time whilst playing. I want to be able to do the same for other new and old members of the community by making sure that people act appropriately and have fun when RPing. The second reason would be my previous experiences whilst on SWRP. Due to my dedication by playing almost daily, I have personally learned many things whilst playing. With my RP sense, I have shown competence by climbing and reaching high ranks, whilst in an EP sense, I have dedicated my time to ensure other members of the server have enjoyable events to play. Because of my experiences in the Event Planning team, I have learnt ULX commands with time. Also, on SWRP the event planning team are pretty much a backup staff team, so where staff members have been absent, I have had many times where I have had to fill in, ensuring the player base is satisfied. Overall, I want to provide a good service to the Half Life community by doing my duties to a good standard as a staff member. I will assist any person in need of help in any way possible, bringing problems to a resolution, and also putting forward my personal suggestions. Requirements: - You must be 15 years in age or older. - You must be able to speak and type English fluently, quickly and correctly. - You must have at least four (4) days of play time: N/A - You must have 10 or fewer warns: N/A - You must not be banned when you apply: N/A - You must not advertise your application in any way. - You must not copy anything from other applications. - You may not edit your application without permission from a Hierarchy member. - You may not copy-paste parts from a previous application that you have filed. - Only reply to your application if you need to specify something. Unnecessarily spamming/bumping your application will get it denied. Do not engage in grovelling under your application (posting thank you for reading my application every time someone posts etc.) Exceptions can be made with the permission of a Server Management Team Member.
  18. Neutral Good idea, and people say it can be abused, but why trust that person with MJR if you think they might abuse the whitelists, and it isn't hard to fix However staff needs claims
  19. Out of Character Section - Steam Name: bobby shmurda Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:147090767 Current rank on the server: CG Commander/Event Planner (User) Age: 16 What is your playtime: 9 weeks and 12 hours Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yes Have you read and looked through the Battalion Handbook: Yes Do you meet the requirements: Yes Quick summary about you: My name is Jack and I live in England. I am 16 years old and interested in playing various games on PC and XBOX. My favourite genre of gaming is first person shooters. I play Garry’s Mod often and have found to enjoy making new friends in this Community of Werewolf Gaming. I am physically and also enjoy playing Football as I play for a football team myself. I have just finished my last year of school, year 11, and now hopefully will be moving onto A-Levels at my School’s 6th Form. In Character Section - In-Game name: CG Commander JH Highest rank obtained: CG Commander, DU Temporary Commander What current rank do you have: CG Commander What is your current regiment: Clone Guards What should we pick you for Battalion: I believe that you should pick me for Battalion for many reasons. Firstly, I am able to make good decisions whilst under pressure. With my experience in leading CG and the actual base in my time as Commanders I have made many smart plays that lead to the Republic being victorious. My experience of being Commander for both DU and CG have helped me become more strict with my decisions, however not making stupid ones. I have plenty of experience like I have already stated. When I first joined the Clone Guards, it took me approximately two months to work my way up to Executive Officer, to then be promoted to Commander. From then, I have stuck as CG Commander for up to four and almost five months. Due to my dedication, I have become mature as a Commander and understand how to run a regiment itself. I have made little mistakes, and have learnt from these in the past. This shows my ability to learn from mistakes, and how I have grown in this regiment. I want to be able to take it a step forward, to lead the base often and ensure that we succeed every time. I have already led the base as a whole five times, with previous missions and have come out on top everytime. With that, I can take my experiences into Battalion, to learn quickly and adapt to the leading style that they provide, and to become a good Battalion member. I have already completed the tasks which are laid to Battalion Officer Cadet, to lead the base as a whole, to perform a decent debrief, and to host a mandatory training - however, if needed I can perform these tasks once again to ensure that my skills are well accounted for, and that I fix up on any minor mistakes that I do make. Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: There are many different roles of Battalion. First is the most obvious role - which is to lead during times of attack. Battalion must be able to lead the base to victory in any situation thrown at them. This will be mainly left for the lower ranks of Battalion, to make sure they gain experience from it, however every Battalion member must be capable in doing so. The next role is to grant and deny any permissions on base, during defcon 5 mainly. A Battalion must be alert at all times, making sure the base runs smoothly and people are given permission to do such things, like training and tryouts. Further up in the ranks, Battalion will have to provide their own training for other Battalion members. This is to ensure that Battalion are in top condition and are able to master their ability with whatever they train for. Next, is to ensure that new Battalion members are mentored and taught the correct and appropriate ways of being a Battalion member; This is also taught mainly by higher ranks, for them to pass on their experience. And finally, the higher ranks of Battalion have the role of running Battalion itself. They need to ensure that Battalion are acting appropriately, looking professional at all times. Have you ever been demoted, banned or kicked: No Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank: Yes What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading? During combat situations, the role of Battalion when they are NOT leading, would be to assist their current regiments that they supervise. They will only suggest, and not order the regiment, as they will leave that job to the Commanding Officer of said regiment. Battalion, if not leading, will not be permitted to use the voice amp either. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session? 1. To lead a base attack 2. To call and then perform a good debrief 3. To perform a mandatory training What is the job of the Co-Leader during events? When Co-leading, a Battalion member must be focused on granting and denying minor things, and can also possibly grant/deny more major decisions, however most likely first consulting the leading Battalion. They can also suggest ideas to the leading Battalion member, aiding them with their victory. Anything else: Edit: I accidentally put 9 weeks and 3 days instead of 3 hours
  20. Neutral I too am also going to agree with Silent and Ethan. Out of the however so many GM COLs there are I don't really know you, not even personally. I think you need to make yourself more known on the server for this role, as there are better candidates to be picked from. However in your application you seem competent, obviously reaching the rank of COL. Either way, good luck.
  21. Neutral It was either this or a Neutral/+1, however people have already commented on the main factors which are not good about your application. Obviously, you have only got 1 week of playtime, which is very low for someone who wishes to be Battalion. Battalion need experience in leading. On the other hand, you have been very active in that one week of playtime, however I think you still need more experience in SWRP for you to become a top tier Battalion member. The other obvious thing is that you have only recently become a MJR yourself, so like I said earlier, this shows you are quite inexperienced. However, Donkey is very active from what I have seen, showing himself to be competent within CG when playing events and in general. Donkey is generally quite nice from what I have seen, and I believe he has dedication. Because of this, I think that you probably wouldn't be the best candidate for Battalion, but for you to go and achieve more playtime and experience due to your dedication. I think you can do that, so I hope for the best, good luck. Just a quick edit, Donkey is also a fast learner so if he is to be accepted into Battalion now, I think he could learn quickly and gain experience from that too. This is why I am split, so either way I hope you get your desired rank.
  22. Battalion Command consists of: - All of Admiralty -Head Of Battalion -Battalion Brigadier But why not Battalion Commander? I think that Battalion should add the rank of Battalion Commander to Battalion Command because it makes no sense not to. On the contrary, what you could do is just change the name of it. Asking for the ranks of Battalion Command can easily confuse people as Battalion Commander is not apart of it, and there is no reason on why. Battalion should either add the Commander to a part of their Command, or change the name as a whole. For an example, you could change the name of Battalion Brigadier to Battalion Commodore, and then remove Commander or rename it Brigadier, so Battalion Command would look like this - -All of Admiralty -HOB -Battalion Commodore And then the rank below Commodore would be Brigadier, and then below Brigadier would be COL etc etc. Just an idea, but SMT can come up with whatever name is necessary - just either change the name of Commander, or add it to Batt Command, making it less confusing for everyone, but it doesn't have to be that exact name that was just an example
  23. Main reason for it to be used when CG is not on, is to use the metal handcuffs, I doubt people will switch to this job at midnight to be a b-tec CG, but to only complete arrests (As Hierarchy do not get access to the metal Handcuffs)
  24. Fat +1 for this one, would love to see it get added. Like Krowly has mentioned, there can be many things that this droid can do. For example in Base Attacks + Planetarys these droids can be used to protect the brig as well as the prisoners inside, long enough for CG to return to assist. On defcon 5, these droids can patrol MB and can enforce the law along side CG, however CG will take priority in this. We could possibly allow them stun guns so they can participate in cuff trainings, and stun blasters for stun blaster trainings, to gain chemistry with the regiment. Giving it a limit to MJR+ is a wise idea also instead of 2nd LT+ as it comes with more power and responsibility. I also think that if said person was to abuse their power with this job, they can be stripped of it, blacklisted, and also possibly punished on their main job, to discourage any pissing about on this job role. There is much more I could mention, however I will make a handbook (Like Krowly has mentioned) if this suggestion is accepted. Best of all, this could mean goodbye to the handcuffs and restraints the Supertrooper has (For some reason) alongside ABS/BS, or maybe even ABS/BS as a whole. This is mainly because at late night, if there are no CG on, and someone is arrested, a trusted member with this whitelist can switch to this job, to ensure that the punishment is fully met.
  25. I mean he is the Event Planner, he can remove you for any reason because it is his event.
