  1. +1 Playtime is very high, so is his in character rank. Also is very active and competent, has the rank to show for it. Overall, a really detailed application with an original and creative idea. This looks like a lot of fun to play, so one of the best candidates so far. Best of luck!
  2. -1 High Playtime, high clone rank. Don't want to sound like a dickhead but this is a very poor application. Unoriginal, Base attack. Jedi event makes little to no sense. Many problems can occur with higher rankings killing clones. The main problem, is clone on clone combat. When performing this, you need to alert the GAR somehow that the people they are fighting are not Republic. No republic personnel would kill clones for 2 million credits, unless they were human at the least. With this, if the GAR does not know that they are fake, Golden Rule comes into play. Many problems can occur as RA and below cannot order the golden rule. For example, events in the past have occurred where fake regiments infiltrate the base, but the GAR do not know they are undercover. This regiment begins shooting clones but the clones cannot shoot back as they do not know if they are clones or not. With your Jedi event, there is no possibility to go any other way then to fight and kill. First thing, Jedi should be able to manipulate the event in a way that they can decide how it ends. It gives them more room to adapt to the situation, allowing them to be creative and therefore more fun. Secondly, you need to make sure the event makes sense. Having two Sith younglings? Doesn't really make sense. For Jedi events, if the Jedi were to question the event itself, you need to be able to at least explain the story along with it. All they know is that there are two younglings attacking them for no reason. Maybe you could make the younglings into apprentices, and have them explain at the start why they are there. Telling two Jedi ECs to go fight means that negotiating is out the window as they will struggle at each question asked by the Jedi. Also, a way to make it more creative is that you could have the Jedi possibly cure the Sith, and make the decisions more down to them and less scripted. I suggest to re-write your application completely, it lacks a lot of detail and has no originality behind it.
  3. +1 One of the best candidates by far, although with a low playtime, Loaf is very friendly with others and I personally have never had a problem with him. His application is very detailed for both the Clone and Jedi side. It has passive RP to set off the event, specialised tasks for RC and ARC, and overall looks really fun to play. Only one negative however which is, do not use snipers on last stands. The amount of people that will cry when they get 1 tapped will be overflowing. The only time I would bring this in is that there are many, many GC, and to make the sniper only target them. Snipers can 1 shot enlisted troopers, and for it to be a last stand so they have to switch would be extremely unfair. Other than that, really good application, best of luck!
  4. Neutral Clearly dedicated due to his time spent in Jedi, competent too hence such a high rank. High playtime, so a lot of experience. To be honest, a pretty plain event. Understandably IMO, Clones and Jedi mixing is quite fun however you haven't really mentioned how they would work together, only that the clones are just coming to the JT to destroy the droids. For what others have said, not all events need to be complex, and a simple event can be good. I can agree, to a certain extent. Like I have mentioned on other peoples applications, with your application to becoming an EP, you want to make something which is more original, creative and sounds fun. This event for me, does sound fun however there is little creativity and originality. For an EP application I always say that you want to try and make it as original and creative as possible, so Event Management are able to see your true creativity. You could create a plain event and then say you are creative, but there is no proof so it is hard to believe. I suggest re-writing your Event Plan, either tweaking it or just restarting it, as long as there is some more originality to it. If you nail that, then you'll have a much greater chance of being accepted.
  5. Neutral/-1 High Playtime Very little originality in this event. I understand that EPs do basic events, unoriginal too a lot however for your application you want to create an event that is more engaging than the one you've created. It is hard to create original events however small things can be performed to do so, having basic unoriginal events for your application is something no one should do, and say that EPs do it as an excuse. You want to make Event Management believe and understand that you are able to create creative and fun events. Recently resigned from 327th, only LCPL in GM and too low of a rank to fully know if you will stay or not. I would suggest firstly to rank up in GM. Event Management can only see you are a low rank, and there is no evidence that you will stay for the long run, otherwise giving you EP for you to then resign would be a waste of time. Even saying that you'll be dedicated, there is no guarantee. Secondly, I would suggest creating a more original event, or adding small things to yours to make it more interesting. A simple push against the CIS to hack a ray shield to destroy a super weapon is pretty boring due to the repetitiveness of the event. Maybe add civilians in the houses so the Republic can liberate them for example, small things can make an event much more creative. One final thing is that you do not need to list what each regiment does, you're applying for EP not Battalion. But that is my personal opinion and won't affect your application much.
  6. I play SWRP purely for the Poker
  7. What I mean when it comes to RC helping with it, it all depends on the type of medal. The main reason is the fact it is much easier for an RC to get some kind of combat medal or bravery medal than regular troops due to their access to equipment and how SL+ can disobey Battalion, but depending on the medal it can be given to RC too, I see no problem with that. As IMO RC would help is like you said mainly for recommendations, but that will need to be more refined on how RC do this. With medals they usually have a set requirement to get, like 20+ kills in an event or something, but with these medals it could just be acts of _____. For example, an honorary medal is already a type of medal, but it can be made and given in a public display. Acts of bravery or something along those lines would be the medals I have in mind - mainly like actual war medals if that makes sense.
  8. It all depends on the requirements for the Medal. Like I said, I have no idea what they would want to make the requirements, but if it was something to be tracked it really wouldn't be hard. Make a column on a separate spreadsheet saying the requirement, and when someone does it, put their name in. You don't need to publicly log every single requirement, just the medal when it was given.
  9. +1 Never knew Sharp was good when it came to ideas
  10. +1 Of course I am going to +1 this, but I really don't think that the change was needed. We had zero complaints, and are pretty balanced in events anyways, don't see why it was taken away. If anything, I personally would like the repeating blaster back at minimum, but reverting it to how it was seems fair, since I don't see why it was taken in the first place.
  11. +1 Personally, I don't feel like REX is one to break the rules, let alone try and get away with retarded shit. I'm sure that he understands the PME side, and I believe there should only be 1 warning for the PME. The job abuse when switching job can't be for certain, the FailRP can fall under the PME, and the LTARP is completely invalid. This too. If you crash on a GMOD server that you aren't having fun on since you might be in brig or it's 2AM in the morning, I'm not going to go out of my way to come back on and finish the sentence, i'm going to bed. Doesn't seem like any PMs were sent either to see if REX timed out or not either, so banning him for supposedly LTARPing although he crashed is just retarded.
  12. What your suggestion is: Give out medals from Battalion/Admiralty/RC to clones during public displays. Scriptfodder/workshop link: N/A Any additional information: In lore, clones were able to achieve medals, obviously. Regiments have regimental medals which is cool and all, but for regiments that don't and just in general, handing out Medals during Debriefs or timed events would be cool. Obviously, you'd need to consider who can host these displays, who can give the medals, how to get it etc, but I think it would be cool for the whole server to be able to achieve medals handed by higher ranks, outside of their regiment. Also, as a possibility, have a new tab made on the regimental spreadsheet, or a document which is used a lot to cement the names of the people who achieve the medals so that it actually means something.
  13. -1 Don't really know who you are except for the fact you put laughing emojis on peoples LOAs / ROAs , even on ones for who's family members have passed and need a break. You say you don't take any of it back when explaining it, and say how "Laughter is the best medicine" as your excuse to put laughing emojis on peoples LOAs after family pass, but I call bullshit. Don't want to see you in Battalion to be honest.
  14. Also, pretty sure your ban was extended due to DTS, you told an EP to fuck himself after he told you to switch to B1 and said disrespectful things to Bobby too.
  15. -1 Please sit out the ban, deserved it and had it coming.
  16. Neutral From reading through, I'm still unsure on if you'd be a suitable Battalion member. With comments of what people are saying, for the people that do interact with you, you seem like a decent guy, however you aren't that well known. I still think that you aren't quite ready for Battalion, especially with problems with activity. Obviously, I don't know how active you are, but from certain comments it seems like you aren't active enough. Being in in 501st for at least 6 months but only having 3 weeks playtime isn't the best, but as apparently none are AFK hours that isn't too bad I guess. I think that there are better applicants that have applied, you seem competent yet your activity brings you down. I'd improve that first before applying again, unless you are accepted, as Battalion have high standards for activity, especially if you wish to move through the ranks. Either way, good luck.
  17. +1 One of the strongest applicants so far. Corn has proved his worth by sticking with a regiment and achieving the rank of Major, whilst doing so he has had no problems, is active and performs well. This is all that was asked from his last application, which he has completed and has not hesitated to apply again. I think it is about time to give Corn a shot, and I think it would be unfair to say otherwise. He has matured over time, and is very responsible for his age. His activity is very good, and would be a great addition to Battalion. Best of luck.
  18. Neutral/+1 Overall, from what I know Eric is a decent guy. From my experience with him in CG, he did pretty well most of the time. He is hard working, but sometimes his attitude isn't the best. I've experienced some implications he's had with others, but that happens with everyone so it doesn't mean too much. With your IRL job however, it did affect your activity at times and you had to go on sudden LOAs or ROAs. I know it isn't that big of a deal with the LOAs, however you were on ROA for a long time due to it. Then again, at the end of the day it is a GMOD server so it wasn't too big of a deal. You mention how your IRL job won't affect your performance, which is true, but your activity still may let you down. On the other hand, this doesn't mean he can't have a shot. Eric is competent and knows his stuff, so i'd like to see how well he would do in Battalion. Good luck.
  19. Minimum of 100 words, your response has just over half. 3 Weeks is quite low, but that doesn't mean you aren't competent. Decent guy, friendly to talk to and does well in CG. Not sure how CG would cope with you leaving, personally I don't know how much you do for CG however I know you are active, so the SOs must be up to scratch before you leave. Neutral Mainly for the reason on failing to complete the requirements for the applications. I understand people may not care, but it seems that you haven't put much effort into the application, and could be a big reason if you get denied. Good luck.
  20. This isn't the best thing to put on your Battalion application, doesn't make you look good. IMO, you should remove it (next time you apply, unless you are accepted) and if Hierarchy wish to comment they can, just because they may have changed their minds and you're making yourself look bad. Neutral/+1 Other than that, you seem like a decent guy. I don't know you very well, however from reading other peoples responses you seem competent and friendly except for one or two occasions. However, that comment you made really doesn't help yourself but I've already spoken about that. Either way, Good luck.
  21. Neutral For someone who has been here for a while, I still - personally - feel like you are too immature to become Battalion. I see you do a lot of stupid stuff, hypocritical of me I know, however if you wish to become Battalion you need to mature and play properly. I would give examples but I don't want to just be a dick, but other than that you do seem a worthy applicant, although this is like your 7th application. Good luck.
  22. Like stated, it would be like a 74th MD where WL are handed out to those trusted and trained by EXO+. You must be the rank of at least SO in any regiment instead of CO to get it, so there will be worry with abuse etc. If someone were to abuse it, they'd be stripped and also punished on their actual job. Depends on what Spades wants, but I feel like SO+ is reasonable because not all EXO+ will want to be it. Also just remember this suggestion was from months ago, a straight copy and paste. Things can be tweaked and changed to adapt to how the server currently runs.
  23. -1/Neutral An old Battalion member, my memories of you aren't the best, and I didn't even know you'd returned since like 5 days ago. You seemed very egotistical and a bit of a dickhead, however I understand people do change so I won't hold too much of that to you. However, you were kicked out of Battalion, and you haven't been back for a long time. I'd suggest spending some more time back and wait a little longer, achieve a higher rank (at least SO) and then re-apply. Good luck.
