  1. +1 Yes I would like me some good old pool.
  2. Probably more weapon balances and some regiment changes to be honest.
  3. +1 I definitly agree with this, as the pause between 4pm and 6pm is quite small, especially if you want to do a training. I would prefer some more downtime, so l don't have to load into the server after the 4pm event only to see like 15–20 minutes later that an EP is already collecting. I would like to do some trainings aswell. In the case wiht players who play both CWRP and IRP, as stated it is really up to them to figure out how to balace it.
  4. -1 Kind doubt that you acually read the rules, but still you left while in jail which counts as LTARP. The ban is completely valid. Begging us to unban you and saying that you paid for it (not sure if Gmod as a whole or on our sever), is cool and all, but that changes nothing, it is just 2 days cool off and think about how you want to play next time you will join back. Since I am sure you don't want to brand yourself as a minge (person who just messes around and ruins RP all the time).
  5. -1 Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here, but getting unbanned probably isn't it. Just another meme unban.
  6. What even is this about anyways? Are you annoyed that you sometimes you have to wait like 30 seconds or something for a response on your asked premission? If noone is reposponding usually just put in ooc "Hey Batt you there?", for me this works most of the time and even when it doesn't just ask in OOC again for the highest rank under battalion to grant or denie. It is that simple. I also prefere having more people who can grant and denie at the same time, as many people pointed out if, it is left to single person and that person leaves or goes AFK what now?
  7. -1 To put it straight the cartel smuggler job limit was increased from 2 to 3, so more people can play it at once. Another thing is that Cartel is dedicated to making money and working in underworld businesses, while pirates are all about raiding and plundering. That is why the Cartel have the disguises exclusively. The pirates on the other have the demolist, who can make quick work of anyone who is unlucky to step near his remote dets. The reason why the pirates don't have the disguises is to not make them a downright better version of cartel. It also wouldn't really make logical sense as all pirates are not humans (unlike cartel), their heads just wouldn't fit into the clone helmets without seriously bending them.
  8. I mean edgebugging is really rare as you have to hit the very last hammer units of an edge to edgebug. This isn't really againts the rules as I don't believe that you could use this activily due to the requirements of performing an edgebug. Pretty most of the time you would be doing it on accident. You can try to do this but I doubt that you will hit it.
  9. -1 Yes you were, also the "impacted the community in a positive way", yeah no. There is nothing positive about you getting a bunch of CTs to loiter infront of HQ and probably being annoying. This whole unban request really just feels like a meme unban.
  10. -1 Since as Henk said you don't have any acually proof of the "incident" (no your ban screen doesn't really count as evidence) ,you have zero ground to stand on. In this case it is a word againts a word and don't get me wrong but if there are more people then just the staff member who can testify that you were really not there to role-play and just minging, I don't see any reason why List should be punished, as he didn't do anything that could be considered a staff abuse or verball abuse towards you. Lastly no format, meaning that you probably wrote this in the heat of the moment without taking the proper steps.
  11. -1 I am gonna say a hard no to this one. The colour schemes for different CT rank polls is there so that CTs can more easily distinguish between differently ranking CTs. Usually before the event the CTs will see at least one of the higher ranking CTs and remember how they look like and when someone is calling their name or just yelling "CT!", they will most likely listen, we can only command them not give them intelligence, if they don't listen, they just don't listen.
  12. -1 I really don't see the reason why. Just because it doesn't strictly fit the cannon doesn't mean we should replace it. The TL-50 is already great weapon once you get used to it. The model for it is also fine at least to me, the gun doesn't go over half of your screen like the 41st heavy sniper, so I really don't mind if the gun isn't excatly "appealing".
  13. -1 Yeah you don't just go ahead and kill someone 32 times just so you can "test" something, also not knowing the rules doesn't make you immune to them. You should have accually bothered to read them after buying your plat vip, the fact that you didn't is on you.
  14. I prefer the new regimental medics, because now we don't run into the problem of having none healing personal that often, well still does happen mainly durring off peak hours, but it is still a lot better than before.
  15. Was fun as an EC but definitly not fun as a CE whose main objective (for most of the time) in a base defense was to just protect the GR, and to just have ECs suddently pop up from nowhere basically saying "fuck your defenses" to CE before killing them and shuting off the GR, while the CE wasn't even able to defend itself properly.
  16. Neutral - On the bright side I can see the potentional of this. I think that this would mainly benefit EPs rather than any regiment this thing would be assign to, since EPs get to decide where the battle will take place and that would allow them to set up those artilleries as they need them. Raining fire on advancing clones or bombarding a defensive position, which in return would force the clones to make counter strategies againts this. This would make the combat a lot more intersting for both sides as this thing in large enough numbers could halt an entire clone push and allow the ECs to not be utterly destroyed on open maps, where they are just so heavily outmatched that it just isn't fun at times. - On the other hand, what would stop the regiment with the artillery from just putting them down and raining shells constantly on the ECs, exactly pretty much nothing. Clones will always outnumber the ECs sometimes as much as 7:1. In the case of ECs you have at max usually about 7–8 ECs and each one of the artillery cannons needs at least 2 people operating it and I am pretty sure that the EP would probably set up at least 2, which leaves you with a total of 3–4 ECs acually protecting the artillery position. Which on open maps can be pretty much just avoided by flanking regiments and hit the artillery position directly. - Another note is if it will even work and how much it would lag the server when used in combat, where even with a decent PC you will always be below 20–25 FPS durring events. Around those numbers it is still playeble but once you reach about 15 FPS, that is when it becomes a problem. Lastly the addon file is 52,4 GB large. Overall not a bad idea and definitely worth the try.
  17. The problem is that advertising is usually punished by a community ban, meaning that only the members of Central Administration Team can unban you, who are above Server Managment Team.
  18. Neutral Let's start from the top. This answer is pretty much correct, but you should also consider teleporting to the accused player before checking the logs as just from that you can usually deduct if the accused player did or didn't commit RDM, after that you can check the logs for damage if you didn't caught him commiting RDM, when you teleported to him. This answer lacks details in my opinion. You should ask the player what kinda of roleplay they are looking for, before telling them about the faction you think the player would like the most, based on their answer and only then you would direct the player to the building where they can apply for such role. Also if the player isn't sure about what faction to join you can just explain all of the factions in basic terms and let the player decide, before again directing them to the right building. You would also punish the player for NITRP as no matter who or what roles you are this is a serious roleplay server, so you must be willing to RP all the time except in very rare situations like sits. Your play time (being a new player or veteran) has nothing to do with tiers. It doesn't matter if you are a new player or a veteran both can commit Tier I and Tier II rule breking. The only diference would be that the veteran would have a harsher punishments for Tier I rule breaking. PassiveRP excludes only combat. Violence could also be a part of PassiveRP as Civil Protection units interogating someone with torture methods would still classify as PassiveRP. You started off good, but about here "Nazi regime. The combine" you stopped talking about City 24 and just talked about the Combine regime in general, not about City 24 regime, because City 24 is also known as "The Royal City" and the living condicitions there are better, than in the other cities. Overall a decent application, but you still should do a bit more research and work out the flaws. Nevertheless I wish you good luck.
  19. -1 Litteraly in the first clip you just stood there and did nothing, you didn't even attempt to tell them to stop or call CG (There might not have been any on) and even so in these clips they only broke IC rules not OOC rules since dancing outside bar, radio outside bar and spawning some props outside a claimed area isn't exactly againts the OOC rules. And that prop surfing? I still don't believe it is worth a warn as all he did was lift the CT like 2 meters up and that is it, he didn't purposely lift him to some areas that he can't normaly reach or help him go extremly fast, he just lifted him 2 meters. The max for this is like a slap on the wrist but that is it.
  20. -1 Allthought you might be sorry, what happened happened. I also believe in what Jim stated that you weren't really "baited" into giving out the other server info, as the guy stated when you started talking about the server that "talking about other servers can get you banned for advertising" and yet you went on telling him more info about the server, so there isn't much that can be done, just wait some time to think this trought before making another appeal. Also to add to this my only experience with you is you fucking around constantly durring the time I was collecting people for my SIM to the point where I had to warn you with laps just so you would stop disturbing other trainings around, so I don't really believe that you would change all that much even if this gets accepted.
  21. +1 I do agree that wookie chieftans, just straight up shit on ECs as they have more hp that RC and the jump boost allows them to litteraly just hop out of danger, with out needing to switch to a grappling hook. I am just gonna say this straight fuck the flamethrowers. In an event the flamethrower is the only weapon that just makes me dread on the inside, when I see it pulled out. I don't have a problem with the fact that it makes you practically blind, but I think that the duration of this effect is just too long and the damage is just a salt in the wound to all of this.
  22. -1/Neutral In my opinion this suggestion can be useful but super rarelly. Since even if this got approved, it is still up to the Hierarchies if they want to give their SOs/Colonels these powers you mentioned and trusts me most Hierarchies would probably prefer it to stay as it is as there isn't exactly a need for distrubiting the power even more. 3 people are usually enough.
  23. +1 Let's just start from the top. In the 1st case this sentence kinda confused me, as I didn't understand from the context who this sentence was aimed at. Was the offender or the one who reported the offender? Now to be honest with this one. The part where you would report it to the faction leader could or would classify as meta gaming, since if you as a Staff on duty went and solved the situation you would create a OOC situation that being a "sit". Now ofcourse this part is confusing for most of our current HLRP staff, as we haven't really been told if we could report it to the faction leader or no in the case that someone is very clearly not following the server rules. But these two parts are the only instances where I found myself doubting it, but never the less this is an excellent application and I really liked it. With that said good luck.
