Former Staff Questions (Remove these if you have not been staff on our server before): 1 ) For how long were you a staff member on IRP: I was EP for a few months 2 ) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team: EP 3 ) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why: I was demoted due to an incident that occurred with an event of mine where i threw a few grenades at snipers to stop them from destroying my EC's because even the ground troops couldnt do anything because of their own snipers which annoyed them and my EC's complained that they were being farmed 24/7. Then later that day I decided to test the damage of a mine but someone decided to run over it despite me saying i was testing a mine in the area. 4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member: I wouldnt have used grenades to knock off snipers i should've just asked them to try not kill my EC's as frequently as they were. I would have also remembered to go to the EP room to test the mine. 5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: I believe i have improved a lot since I've left the staff team in that i have matured more and understand more how serious i need to take a ULX rank. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other Imperials: I would ask who it was and then bring that player into a sit with the reportee. I would then check BLogs for the kills and check to see if it was RDM and depending on how many people were killed i would warn him for RDM X[number] and if it was 3 or more i would ban him for MRDM. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would tell them that i will get a trainer ASAP and then ask someone to train the cadet and if nobody comes i will TP someone able to train the cadet. 3 ) During a debrief, a ST accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: Just make sure it was an accident and leave it in character. 4 ) A ST #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: I would do nothing OOC since its an IC issue. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules: I would explain to them that despite it not being in the rules explicitly it still falls under the category of FailRP and they will still be punished for it. Depending on how severe the case is i would either verbally warn them or !warn them for what they did. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would tell them that the warn/ban is done and will stick due. If they want to appeal the warn/ban they can go to the forums and do so. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I believe I deserve staff as I have seen first hand how difficult it can be as a staff member and how frequently claims are coming in and I wish to help current staff and make sure all things are running smoothly in the server. I think I would be a good asset to the staff team as I will ensure all rules are being followed. I am also mature and can identify situations and their severity very easily. I also believe I deserve staff due to the dedication I've had to the server and sticking with it through thick and thin regardless of any disagreements/mishaps that have happened. I've always enjoyed playing on the server and I would like to have the chance to help people on the server and ensure that RP is flowing smoothly. I also would like to believe I haven't got any bad blood with any members of the community and I get along with everyone rather well from what I know. Despite my previous mistakes I had made when I was an event planner I truly believe I have changed for the better to be a good staff member and community member in general. Initially I had planned to leave EP not long before my demotion happened due to GCSE's and work becoming too much and I needed to take more time for my studies so I admit I got a little unhinged towards the end of my time within the EP team as I wasn't paying any regard to the punishment i would face for my actions. I do apologise for what i did and i promise i will make amends for my mistakes.
