I was very anti DU being added as a new regiment and was very glad they didn't and decided to go with 442nd instead, it was something new and exciting even if it was reskinned DU with better EQ and no ATTE. I was also very much against this suggestion when I first saw it but after thinking about it my mentality has changed. Honestly, I don't see the harm in switching 442nd to DU as if its just a model and name change surely the regiment will be completely stable and not die like every other time DU has. The main reason I think this way as its not DU being brought back again its different and has a stable regiment with good people in high places to keep the regiment active . If SMT were to go about this obviously a poll within 442nd would have to occur to see if majority of the regiment wanted this. With regards to the actual models being changed and the different name, I agree that the models are significantly better and more unique and the name Doom's Unit is cooler and more unique than just numbers and would probably attract more newer players. I do have one question/concern thought, it probably has already happened before on the server I just have not been around long enough and haven't bothered asking an older player for clarification. Would 442nd switch back to old DU spreadsheet with same blacklist/Hall of Fame? I personally and I know a lot of old DU hate this but old DU died a long time ago many times, and I think it would be better if it was just a fresh start for DU under a reskinned 442nd. so yea +1 bro

You just recently hit SO/Major and for staff apps opening first time in 5 months I think that it would be more fit giving it to a player who at least is Colonel or has recently been (whatever Jedi equivalent is as well). Now I do think that you would be an exceptional staff member and I would highly recommend applying in the future if you do not get it this time

Thanks : ) +1 You are an overall calm guy who I feel could be really level-headed in serious staff situations Really good activity If I had to guess you probably won't get accepted just the way it looks because of how competitive it is and other people either showed more resounding qualities or have had better apps. I feel bad if you don't get accepted as your application was decent and with your whole resume on the server you probably would have gotten accepted any other time so I urge you to apply a gain in the future if you don't get it. I would suggest spending decent amount of time pre-writing an application for future app openings because if you spent a little more time on your app this time I think you would have had a really high chance of getting in.

The 2 main qualities that I feel personally should be looked at the most when looking at if someone is suitable for staff is how mature you are and if you can be professional in staff situations. Which you are a friendly/funny guy but nothing has shown me since you joined the server that resembles those qualities. Which is only really a problem if you are going for high ranks or staff.

I have seen former accepted staff applications which look like 12 year olds wrote them compared to this one. You are really active and can no-life gmod, which is great if you want to be staff Now I don't know much about you personally and you seem to keep to yourself which is fine. I really urge SMT to accept you into staff and look past the bias of giving it to people they interact with more/ have been in TS with as the application is insanely good. I would honestly say based off purely application there is no reason for you not to be a top 2 candidate for staff this go around.

Thanks : ) Neutral What everyone else said is true when it comes to you being not as experienced but I don't think that should be a main reason for a neutral/-1 as I got staff 1.5 months into playing the server, so competence should be judged more and if they understand the rules/staff more so than playing the server for half a year like most other applicants I think you could be a good staff member eventually if you got accepted it would just take longer for you compared to other applicants as I have noticed you are confused with some rules. For example you mentioned earlier this week that shooting through the glass windows on anaxes was FailRP. Now obviously this isn't true and maybe someone told you this and you just believed them so it probably isn't even your fault. But still it just shows that you are inexperienced not in terms of how long you have been around but with how familiar you are with the rules. You have really good promising qualities to be an exceptional staff member in the future

Thanks : ) +1/Neutral I agree with what everyone has said and think you wouldn't be a pretty decent staff member However I can think of some situations especially towards the end of your time in ARC where you acted extremely stubborn and set in your own way and when you start off in staff with no experience you have to join with the mentality to LEARN and accept that you will be wrong sometimes at the start.

I have seen you on countless occasions represent the exact opposite of these two qualities and I think you should really work on your maturity on the server if you want Staff or if you ever want promoted to Batt Command IC you are on really thin ice in battalion almost every week you are involved in some stupid situation you put yourself in
