  1. Overall great guy, I've spoke with you a lot Never really seen your leader ship skills Striked and demoted before. Poor punctuation and some grammar mistakes. Overall it's a Nuteral / -1 from me. I'm sorry lad, good luck though!
  2. -1 Overall I've seen very minimal of you and even the times I have seen you, you've been in some sort of trouble. The application is weirdly formatted with colouring and punctuation and grammar is incorrect in some areas.
  3. In-game name(s): Battalion Officer Doot Steam Name: Nopuh Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:419437356 Age when applying: 18 Years old currently What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: I'm currently in the UK, My time zone is GMT (+0) Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes, It may be my second language but overall yes, I'm extremely fluent. Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 1 month 5 days IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: Battalion officer and Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I have a properly working microphone of good quality and I prefer to speak using a mic. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined on the 18th of February and I have taken a few breaks for mental and physical health reasons. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I'm fairly active in the teamspeak but I don't tend to type in the discord as I never really have anything to say there. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). https://imgur.com/a/2PUIFlA I have one warning as you can see from the screenshot provided but I've seen this issue and worked my damn hardest to fix myself from that mistake I made in the past. State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff is to uphold and enforce the rules in the RP situations of the server also to assist when players make a claim asking for help. Their main job is to make sure everyone is happy and the server isn't complete chaos. They make changes on the base that normal players can't do without and them and they stand as a ruling force to make sure no one is even tempted to break rules. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I have, yes. I've got a few questions as any curious reader would as some rules could have loopholes and small poke throughs to bypass them and get away with stuff. List of all previous server staff experience: I've been a moderator and also a manager for DarkRP servers which are known to have a lot more controversial rule breaks in them and harder to navigate their way around issues. I've always been good in solving issues when it comes to staff related issues. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I'm fully aware and I accept the risk because I know I will not break that trust. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: Look into the situation and make sure that the person in question isn't in a PME, event or a paid mercenary. I will make sure that the player in question knows the rules and if it is a situation that they are just randomly killing clones for an invalid reason I would pull them out of the situation, freeze them and tell them how they're not allowed to do that and give them the appropriate punishment for said issue (Depending on how many clones they killed, their intention and their overall attitude while being spoken to.) 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would TP over to the cadet and tell them that I will call someone over for them. I would PM a member of battalion or base command to call an NCO to the cadet area and if they're unable to do that I would bring someone over and ask them if they're able to do the training. If they can't I'll put them back and bring over the next person available until the cadet is trained and good to go. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I would leave the situation to the in character situation as it's not exactly my point to intervene. As long as they're not doing it purposefully I will not intervene. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: It isn't a punishable offense. I would just walk by and not mind the CT. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would bring said player away and tell them that just because it's not specifically stated within the rules doesn't mean it doesn't mean it's not failRP. Just because it isn't stated doesn't mean you can do it, I will tell them to use common sense and tell them that not every rule is stated within the rule book and sometimes you need to leave it to common sense to be able to notice when something doesn't quite seem right. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: Simply tell them to bring it to DM's and leave it out of the server and calmly explain to them in DM's how the warning was valid and if they disagree with my explanation further I will give them the link to warn and or ban appeals depending on what the punishment is and if the senior staff and SMT agree it's not a valid warn it'll be removed, I'll accept I was wrong and we'll all be on our way. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I don't think I deserve anything more than the next person. I just simply try and do my best and I love to compete. Overall I believe I'll be a good pick for staff because I'm mature in situations I need to be and I understand why some things cannot be done. I accept punishments when given to me and I make sure that I remain calm and collected when receiving punishment. I try and remain civil when in situations of confrontation and I'm constantly open-minded, listening to both sides of the story before I make a decision. I've recently been accepted into battalion which shows I can take charge and know when I need to assert myself over someone when they're being rude or just not listening. I know when I must raise my voice and I always try to deescalate the situation before things get out of hand and confrontation becomes a screaming contest between two people. I'm good at showing non-hostility and good and letting people feel welcome into a large server.
  4. +1 Absolutely amazing guy and overall pleasant to be around. However the application comes off as a little hard to read.
  5. -1 Although you're a great guy and I enjoy talking to you. I've never seen you lead, Your application is formatted strangely to make it weird for me to identify questions and answers of a few. Saying you made the application as a troll is not very convincing as to why someone should pick you for it. You wouldn't go into a job with the reason of "I did this for the lolz." You'd go in with proper reasons like money, to take up free time or just meet people. Along with Breato's point you've had a few mingy activities such as the lemonade stand. We've all had times of minging about and trying to have a good time but that takes it to an oddly strange level.
  6. -1 Unfortunately I've rarely seen you and the times I have you were low ranking. Time is also a bit low and the application just looks awkward.
  7. +1 Great guy, knew him from CT and he's got decent ability in leading and dealing with mingy CT's. He's a great guy although applications are a small bit off.
  8. +1 Amazing guy, talked to him a lot before.
  9. Steam Name: Nopuh. Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:419437356 Current OOC Rank on the server(eg Plat VIP, Mod): Platinum VIP. Age (14 - Minimum): I am 18 years old. What is your playtime (2 Weeks - Minimum): 4w 1d 13h 37m. Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yes, I'd say it's a good quality. Have you read and looked through the Battalion Handbook: Several times and even made notes on it. Do you meet the requirements: Yes I do. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link https://imgur.com/a/yYLmmyh It was a simple mistake when messing around with the training lightsaber as a youngling. I didn't expect it to do as much damage as it did and I had killed the other youngling in the room. In Character Section - In-Game name: (Regiment, Rank and then your name) CG Major Doot and Jedi Shaman Doot All Previous Ranks Obtained: (Highest Per Regiment) I've gotten to 41st SGTM, 501st SGT, 74th Senior Doctor, CE LCPL and CT T-EXO. What should we pick you for Battalion: (200 Words - Minimum) I've got good leadership skills, I've always tried to take on the role of leader when in situations based around team play. I like to take control of a situation and handle it in the best ways I know how. I've been planning strategies for combat since I joined the server. Even using my college course to help out with that by looking to old war books to be able to sample ideas from these books and how these wars were fought. I've been doing my best when it comes to trying to improve myself for the better. I'm hoping that I can get accepted so I can reach my full potential. I've been told I am a good leader by a lot of people who have seen me in combat or in training scenarios. I'm just hoping I can get in so I can prove myself to everyone in the server and show them I can be a good leader and a good person. I've had some issues before with people but I'm currently trying to do the best I can to fix any wrong doings I've had with the person. I enjoy putting things in order, I've been told I've got quite a demanding voice so I believe this will come in handy when it comes to being a battalion member. I'm also quite a caring person but I do seem a little mean when people first meet me. I'm brutal when it comes to rule breakers and nice to those who show me kindness. Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum) To be able to guild people and show them how to get a job done quick and effectively. Their job is to also make sure the base doesn't go to hell by denying and granting permission requests depending on what the reasoning is. The most important part of a battalion member is to organise people and make sure attacks are done well and properly co-ordinated to allow maximum efficiency. Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment: (If so, explain why) I have not. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank: I do, If I didn't I wouldn't be applying for this position. I think this position will allow me to show how much I've changed over the months I've been on the server. What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading: Battalion will normally be with their regiment that they supervise in the front / midlines , granting and denying to help the leader, also making sure that if the leader crashes or is unable to carry on leading that they're able to take over at a moments notice. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session: Host an open training involving faces, formations, etc. Hosting a sim for the troops to be able to practice in real-time combat scenarios and also leading an event and hosting a proper briefing/debrief What rank can the Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up to: They can promote and demote up to Captain. What rank and above can use two pieces of Regimental Equipment: Battalion Colonel+.
  10. +1 You're a good kid, all you'll need to do is work on your playtime a little bit more then you're good to go bud.
  11. +1 Great guy Detailed application Seems to know what he's talking about.
  12. Just to clear things up, The things that ice cube said where untrue. I've spoken to goblin about it and cleared it up with him. The situation he's speaking about it me messaging paradox a joke and it being taken the wrong way. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
  13. Just to clear things up, The things that ice cube said where untrue. I've spoken to goblin about it and cleared it up with him. The situation he's speaking about it me messaging paradox a joke and it being taken the wrong way. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
  14. +1 extremely kind dude, He's really changes since last time very good job my guy, good luck!
  15. Steam Name: NopuhSteam ID: STEAM_0:0:419437356Current rank on the server: Sergeant.Age: 17 and turning 18 in August. What is your playtime: 2 weeks and 2 daysDo you have a microphone, is it good quality: I'd say it's a fairly good quality when it decides to work.Have you read and looked through the Battalion Handbook: Several times and even taken notes from it.Do you meet the requirements: Yes I do.Quick summary about you: I'm a 17 year old guy born in Germany, raised in the UK. I'm currently in college for mixing and mastering and English literature on top of that. I strive to make myself a better best and reach as far as I could possibly go before I end up burning myself out. I've spent about 3 months on the server and have only taken one break because I just love the people in the server. I've had my hiccups of toxicity and I'm changing myself for the better. I've taken advice from my past applications and using these as a ground to go off when improving myself. I like speaking to people about things and help them with troubles they have. I've even helped a few people with their NCO trainings that were in other regiments because I wanted to see them go far as well. I'm hoping that my past isn't forgotten but it is forgiven. I'm sorry for any past issues and if you wanna speak to me about these issues my discord is; Dootie#6563. Message me there. In Character Section -In-Game name: 41st SGT DootHighest rank obtained: CT Temp executive officer. What current rank do you have: Sergeant but I am off cooldown I just need to train one cadet. (Battalion members that see this. Send me to train cadets, I love doing it.)What is your current regiment: 41st Ranger PlatoonWhy should we pick you for Battalion: Because I've shown a large amount of capable leading ability. I've dealt with the mingy CT's and even got a few minges to learn and take part. I've been told to have quite a demanding voice which makes leading easier for me. I've been learning how to lead from watching other battalion members lead and even taking notes on good ways to do it. I've been leading for as long as I can remember from small things like games as a kid to leading group projects into getting good grades. I've always loved being a leader to the fact I love the strategy behind it. The other applicants look great and I love all them but I believe I do have a good chance in getting into battalion even if I don't have a very good track record. Give me a chance and you won't regret it.Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: The roles of battalion are to lead the GAR into battle and be a good role model to all the troops and train and help them out. The jobs of a battalion are to be able to make sure things run smoothly like base attacks, planetaries and during defcon 5 just granting a denying requests and permissions to do things.Have you ever been demoted, banned or kicked: No, I've never been demoted, banned or kicked but I have been warned once for RDM as a Jedi Youngling.Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank: If they weren't the GAR would collapse and everything would be chaos. They need to be respected to make sure the troops listen to what they say and follow there orders. They need to be disciplined to be able to stay calm in dire situations. What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading?: They're to be assisting the regiment they supervise or just helping the leading battalion member with giving them information on what's going on at the frontlines so the leading battalion can make appropriate decisions on what to do. They can also help with denying and granting things. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session?: A training with faces, formations etc, just a basic training really. They also need to lead an event with a debrief afterwards just to see if they're able to do the job of battalion effectively. What is the job of the Co-Leader during events?: Granting and denying requests and also giving orders if the leading battalion is AFK, crashes or is just unable to. They're also to assist with callouts on the frontlines and to be assisting the leading battalion member in anyway they possibly can.Anything else: Nothing that I can think of, just thank you and if I can do anything to prove tell me in discord.
  16. I've recently gotten to Sargent and soon to be Sargent major but I'd say it's still fairly low. It's improvement at that. Added point: I didn't notice it said "Our servers." when I filled out past experience but that's entirely my bad. But at least you know the information about my past staff experience.
  17. -1 My guy, you're amazing and a great person but you don't meet the minimum time nor does this application have full detail. A few mistakes I picked out from that; 1. You don't have enough playtime 2. You spelt England wrong. 3. You added the minimums onto the application. 4. You've got 0 past experience. 5. "Yes - I speak primarily." This sentence doesn't really work. It would make more sense for you to say "Yes, I speak it fluently." 6. Seems rushed and unproperly written. I'm sorry ginge, you're a great guy and a great friend but I just can't give the +1 for this one.
  18. +1 Nice guy, decent application and never had a bad interaction with you.
  19. -1 Low detail application. It seems like you've rushed it and it lacks proper time and detail. You're a great guy but it doesn't make up for the poor quality of this application.
  20. +1/neutral Extremely nice guy, great member of 41st. But there are a few issues with the fact you've been warned a few times and that there are a few grammar mistakes
  21. Thank you for the response and pointing out where I've gone wrong. I'll work on it how I can. But all around that was a while back and I've been doing better at improving my all around attitude.
  22. In-game name(s): 41st LCPL Lord Doot and Jedi Apprentice Doot Steam Name: Nopuh Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:419437356 Age when applying: 17 years old. (18 in August.) What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: United Kingdom. (BST) Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes, I am an English major in college so I should be fairly good at it. Current total game-time on the server (type utime_enable 1 in the console if you can't see your game time): 2 weeks and almost 1 day. It may be a low time compared to the others but it doesn't mean incompetence. IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on SW-RP: 41st LCPL (Highest being CT Temp EXO) and Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I speak using my microphone mostly but I type when asked to. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined on the 15th of February 2021 and I've only taken one break that lasted 2 days. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, SW-RP Discord and our forums: I use teamspeak more often than the discord due to the fact I never really need to use it unless I'm logging an event and or a training. I also scroll through the forums a bit to see what's going on. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type utime_enable 1 if you can not see it on your screen): I've got one warn due to being unaware that the training lightsaber did damage when I was a Jedi youngling. In my honest opinion I feel like it was a little unneeded but I did do it and I've accepted that I made a mistake and I regret it whole-heartedly. https://imgur.com/gvCh3Pj State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff is to be able to give assistance to all those that ask for it. The staffs job is the deal with rule-breakers, Help with sims and all kinds of jobs they're called to help with from the smallest case of being stuck to the bigger cases of someone mass RDM'ing. When being a staff member your job is to be open minded and make sure you hear both sides of a story before you act on anything. You're required to be honest and be willing to help where needed. Last but not least you are required to have exceptional patients. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I am, yes. I've been through and even copy-pasted them into a notepad so I can look at them for if I ever need to just incase I forget something and need to check it again. List of all previous server staff experience: G-mod DarkRP servers: Hawk servers, (Closed down in 2019) The mancave, (Closed down within 2 months of being operational.) and another server I've forgotten about due to it closing within the first week. When it comes to Starwars RP I'm fairly new when it comes to it but I'm willing to learn. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Higher staff member? Yes. I'm aware that this is a very big job and only the best people are needed for the job. I'm trying to become the best person for the job and will take any negative feedback I get and work upon it as I should. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Former Staff Questions (Remove these if you have not been staff on our server before): 1 ) For how long were you a staff member on SW-RP: I've never staffed for a Starwars RP server. 2 ) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team: Moderator+, Community Manager and Co-owner. 3 ) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why: Hawk: I left due to there being a toxic hierarchy and I didn't want to deal with it. Mancave: The owner decided that "Kids are too mingy." and made it 21+ to which the server was a complete failure and the final server shutdown because they couldn't afford the server upkeep and no one was joining. 4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member: Used my microphone a lot more and properly tried to interact with the staff team and help support the servers financially to be able to keep the server up. 5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: I've improved on my social skills and anxiety is a little bit less of an issue as it was and I'm able to speak to people and open up a bit more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: Check the logs to see how many he's killed, If he's killed multiple I'd spectate him to catch him in the act and try to record the encounter to have valid proof if they ever try to lie in a ban appeal or just do something stupid. Depending on how many he's killed and how many he's only shot the punishment would vary. If it was only 1 or 2 people I'd warn him for RDMx1/2 and allow him to deal with the RP consequences of his actions. If it was 3 or more I'd ban him for mass RDM and close the case. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I'd go to the cadet, explain to him that I'll ask battalion to send someone over and if no one comes over, I'll ask in OOC to which if no one responds I'll bring someone by random. (Picking by the lowest ranking drill NCO. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: It's a simple accident, Don't do anything and just allow the RP situation to carry out. If he's punished IC I'll let it be even though it can be a bit harsh for the CT. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: Depending on the situation, if it's a formation and he's needed to I will just simply remind him that he needs to salute but outside of that formation and we are not really doing anything I'll just let it go as it doesn't really matter. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules: Explain to him that I there are a lot of FailRP incidences that aren't specified in the rules. It's up to staff who decide if it's FailRP or not. If he insists that it's not FailRP I would call over another staff member and ask for their opinion and what I should do about it. Once the situation is de-escalated and everything is alright with both staff and the player, I'll return him to his original position and carry on with my day. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I'll gladly sit there and talk to them civilly about it and why it was needed and try to calm them and explain to them that they have the full ability to try and appeal it on the forums and that I was just doing my job. I'm not allowed to go against what I've been told I need to do and I cannot change it. I'll explain what they can do to make sure it never happens again and return him back to where he was. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I don't believe I deserve to get staff more than anyone else. They're all extremely good and I love the other applicants and I don't mind if I don't get it as long as someone that earned it and will do well with it does. I don't want to go into the staff team knowing that I took it from someone better than me but I will damn well try to become the best option. My strongest asset as a staff member is my ability to be open minded and I've got extreme amounts of patients. I always like to try get the job done and make sure it's done correct. I've got a plentiful amount of staff experience and I believe I could do something well for this staff team. I want to try and show what I can do and show everyone that I can be more than some toxic kid they think I am. I've been improving and I've been told I've been doing extremely well. I try to keep a level head about situations and I've been doing extremely well preparing myself for this position and this chance, if you give me a chance at the staff team I promise you won't regret it.
