How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I use the Teamspeak and Discord Server daily. I browse the forums quite frequently to stay up-to-date with rules and other things that might be concerning the Server.

State the role of staff on the server: The most important part of Staff is to make sure that every player has an enjoyable experience on the Server. Staff helps exclusively in OOC situations which include assisting in SIM's, giving weapons, noclip and other inquiries players might have towards equipment. They also help with shutting down arguments between players and general disputes. Dealing with rulebreakers and minges is also yet another task of Staff. Staff must remain unbiased at all times and act only on clear evidence such as clips or logs.

 

Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes, multiple times. I am familiar with the rules aswell.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:
First of all I would teleport to the player in cloak to see if the report was true, if it was, I would bring him to an out of bounds area to prevent him from causing any further harm and check the logs to see how much damage/how many people he has killed and punish him accordingly. Then I would return him and watch said player for a while to make sure it does not happen again. 

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:
Firstly I would noclip into the Cadet Area and check if there are any trainers around, if there were none around I would go to Battalion and inform them that a Cadet needs training and that they need to send someone to train said Cadet. I would also ask in OOC-Chat if any NCO+ would be willing to train the cadet and if not I would start bringing people to train the cadet, if they were busy I would return them. If there were no NCO currently online I would go to the next highest rank for example a CO and so on. 

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:
This is a common mistake people make and it is usually just an accident, I wouldn't do anything as long as it was a mistake and let it be dealt with IC wise. However if this was not a mistake and the player kept shooting I would drag him aside and give him the appropriate punishment. 

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:
This is an IC issue and should be dealt with in an IC matter. Staff only acts on OOC situations. 

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:
I would inform the player that not everything can be stated in the rules and common sense should be applied for any IC situation. And to finish it off, I would tell him that just because something is not mentioned in the rules, it does not mean that he can do it and for him to ask himself if this would make sense IRL.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:
I would explain nicely how he broke the rules. If the player after this still believes that I am in the wrong, I would inform him that he could go on the forums and create a ticket to get his warn removed and then dismiss him.

I have been playing on the server for a couple of months now, staying as active as I was when I joined the server. I am passionate about the community and the server overall. I am dedicated to what I do as you can see from my activity and my ranks that I have achieved IC, I am responsible, mature, trusted and know when to be serious. I am professional and reasonable when dealing with matters and act without bias. I am easy to approach, friendly and am always ready to answer any questions towards anything someone might be unsure about. I genuinely enjoy helping people out and am an eager learner. I have lots of free time and am pretty much always playing on the server if I am not at work, so I am online very late at night when nearly no staff are on and sometimes early in the mornings. I would love to learn the ways of Staff and by no means will I be perfect, however I will try my damn hardest to be the best version of myself, always trying to improve myself. I don't shy away from asking questions and am a curious guy, so if I am ever unsure about if I am doing something wrong, I would go to my Mentor. I know how to deal with arguments and how to de-escalate situations appropriately. I am here for the long run and the well-being of the server, becoming Staff would enable me to do more for the community and hopefully turn it into a more enjoyable place for newer and older players alike. I am able to take criticism well and encourage it.
