I like the idea, but wouldn't the same sort of be achieved if normal Security LT's have the same authority as HOS until one comes on site. After all, the SD is WL'ED and can override the HOS.

It ain't bad, if the keycard door was at the MT bluedoor instead it would have worked nicely, but it isn't. Snd therefore I think its invalid really. 
I agree cafe shouldn't be a fortress,  but they are given few choices when they aren't allowed to build inside MT, but I'm sure they would love to build there instead.

I agree in the disadvantages,  but feel like I wish to further state the point that
If you are having difficulties identifying your target, you need to be closer to OOC'ly see their name so you know who it is.
It will make it harder to identify a sniper from across the map, and in return once you are up close to identify them you are more accessible to detain rather than shoot.
The only issues will happen when people won't bother properly identifying their targets. 
Another way to do the suggestion is making SMT more generous with the Pac 3 changes done on civs. 
But I agree with you bob . There are significant negative values, yet significant positive ones too

I often find myself wanting a suit whenever I am civ, but everyone who wears it are always special job or armed. 
This also causes me to act uneasy around suits, because Civs dont wear suits. 
Would allow finer quality of life RP to RP establishments that require suits.

D&D Player here, dice rolling isn't Role Play and has nothing to do with the core RP in D&D. It's just a random mathematical gameplay mechanic used for combat/interaction to make the game fun and fair. Just because you use it to determine the outcome imagined RP actions in a semi random fair manner instead of the DM just telling you that you failed/succeded (which is something you don't need to do on a GMod server) doesn't make it roleplay.
How about instead of taking the dice rolling mechanic from D&D you take the personal character depth, world building and meaningful RP interactions from it instead.

I am well aware that Roach likes to badmouth people, being done so upon and witnessed it.
However,  in this case the accuser does very specifically state that most if not all of the staff was there in the sit. Which means if none of them punished him, then none of the staff deemed whatever was going on as warn or ban worthy.
And guessing how Norra is, imma guess Maurice stood there making sarcastic remarks, Mile made jokes and Norra called him something bad, returning the favour to Roach with his use of the vocabulary. 
As stated, I know Roach can be a dick,
But if a Security Staff, Moderator and Staff Manager didn't warn or ban him, then I dont think it's a reason to bring it up again.
Though i would love the staffs opinions about the matter. 
(I'm not -1'ing because I dont like any of the sides, but simply me seeing someone report someone who was in a sit with multiple staff already,  making it seem like the accuser wants Roach more punished for something already possibly resolved)

The banning Admin believes you have changed, so I support his decision 

The orb is fine. It rolls around doing its own thing.  The map,  the map is the issue.  Some spots on the map are not really collided,  so props tend to go through those holes and disappear. 
 
The orb, which rolls around tends to find these spots more often than props which don't move.
