The server is supposedly under development for the release of Version 7, however, the claim that the server will be out soon is quite dubious due to the several delays in releases and no updates from the owner.
It is possible that we may not see SCP again.

I liked DU, i like 442nd. Something different and normally everytime DU is in the spotlight their commander does something stupid.. [Not mentioning names; Small] Also 442nd doesn't even have a commander right now while typing this message so its not a great start.

I do prefer the DU's models over 442nd and for the past DU I believe I did find it more unique than the current 442nd - but I can't seem to put words for it. 

Also the 442nd's Repubic Turret needs a buff - only has 2k HP with weak dps while it is stationary.

I was very anti DU being added as a new regiment and was very glad they didn't and decided to go with 442nd instead, it was something new and exciting even if it was reskinned DU with better EQ and no ATTE.
I was also very much against this suggestion when I first saw it but after thinking about it my mentality has changed. Honestly, I don't see the harm in switching 442nd to DU as if its just a model and name change surely the regiment will be completely stable and not die like every other time DU has. The main reason I think this way as its not DU being brought back again its different and has a stable regiment with good people in high places to keep the regiment active . If SMT were to go about this obviously a poll within 442nd would have to occur to see if majority of the regiment wanted this.

With regards to the actual models being changed and the different name, I agree that the models are significantly better and more unique and the name Doom's Unit is cooler and more unique than just numbers and would probably attract more newer players.
I do have one question/concern thought, it probably has already happened before on the server I just have not been around long enough and haven't bothered asking an older player for clarification. Would 442nd switch back to old DU spreadsheet with same blacklist/Hall of Fame? I personally and I know a lot of old DU hate this but old DU died a long time ago many times, and I think it would be better if it was just a fresh start for DU under a reskinned 442nd.

DU has more unique models than 442nd ( where the models are a recolour of 212th models )
This wont be more by simply renaming the regiment and changing the models, like when the majority of 91st wanted to become GC.
Of course change this if majority of 442nd want it

SWEP Changes to 106 to make it more interesting.

Reasoning
106 as an SCP on the server is normally overlooked by researchers on the server, due to what you can actually research on the SCP is limited. Now there is the irregular occasion  where 106 may have a proper test but that only goes so far, and most tests actually done on the SCP just consist of throwing class-D's in the CC. Or sometimes, tests just wont happen at all because they will be restricted by administration or E11 because it's a keter and most researchers can't create a valid reason to test.


What do I suggest:
That 106's SWEP has the ability to send props to the pocket dimension alongside, the ability to use the right click of the SWEP to send himself back and forth between reality & his dimension. 

How does this improve anything:
The whole SCP universe is centred around horror, allowing 106 to goto his own dimension to hunt his "prey" improves the thrill experience for class- D's and 106.
The prop ability allows researchers to create more unique testing ideas, and will now be able to use Class-d's to set up cameras, observe 106's behaviour inside the pocket dimension,  etc. 

Problems:
Something like this may be too hard to code.
May require some form of nerf or something that prevents 106 from constantly being in the pocket dimension like a timer that returns 106.

I'd heavily recommend against unbanning Willrick.
Even before Ash had resigned, Willrick had a lot of influence due to his RP Group positions and longevity on the server and would more or less outright bully staff members into either letting him off punishments easily, not punishing him for rulebreaks, or making them side with him in sits. You can see this by accessing the old forums and checking the massive threads he'd make regarding warns/bans where his friends would immediately back him up and insult the staff member who didn't side with him.
This would eventually lead to staff members simply not ever punishing Willrick in fear of backlash, meaning he had free reign to do what he pleased and be toxic to whoever he wanted. This was further worsened by Willrick managing Beta-1 and (Quite literally) turning it into a group of (Literal) Nazis (Check the google docs he made with literal Nazi symbols on it) who now had the power to pretty much remove whoever they wanted from in RP positions.
Around this time group Discords were being shut down due to them being toxic drama hubs. Willrick, of course, decided to ignore this and set up his own group Discord in secret despite being told he'd be banned if he did so. He got banned as a result. He then wrote some unban appeal that I didn't read involving him equating being banned from an SCP RP server to Poland being invaded during WW2.
He then decided to start player pulling for a startup community that failed to have any sort of impact.
 
I'd recommend unbanning Puggo over Willrick, as Puggo is going to do something braindead within a week of getting unbanned and get re permad anyway. Willrick will just slowly worm his way back into positions of influence and start undermiming Staff and bullying players he doesn't like off the server again.

Amazing guy and has kept 442nd afloat recently, despite holding a high IRP rank. Showing he is perfectly capable of balancing roles effectively.

On a serious note, take this piece of advice to heart and leave the community. There is a permeating culture of contempt and hate against people with what could be described as mental illness, and a general dislike towards Americans. You will not earn approval or respect, so you'd be better off spending time with other like-minded people in real life, especially since, according to statistics, every time you feel sad you play a proverbial coin-toss about whether to take your own life.
There are people in the community who will make fun of you, quite intensely. It will not stop. Every time you post anything on the forums or come on TeamSpeak, someone will make fun of you. I can virtually guarantee this.

For those who don’t know (as it was quite a bit ago), the point shop was apart of making a group, wherein you’d have a set amount of points, and you’d have to chose what you want for the group, and each thing would cost a certain amount of points.
For this example, lets say the max was like 100 or something.  Lets say you want an AR-15, an Tazer, and all cuffs on your job which costs 75 points total.  Lets also say you wanted to have a healing swep, but it costs 50 points.  This would make you have to compensate.
Whilst my example is shitty, in practice it was much better.  It actually limited groups to have to chose what they deemed was more important to them, and such, would self balance without any real conscious effort (only like 2 groups were ever the exception to this).
Since the old forums were wiped, its likely SMT would need to create their own point system from scratch, but wouldnt be too hard.
Feel free to ask for more elaboration.
