    D&D Player here, dice rolling isn't Role Play and has nothing to do with the core RP in D&D. It's just a random mathematical gameplay mechanic used for combat/interaction to make the game fun and fair. Just because you use it to determine the outcome imagined RP actions in a semi random fair manner instead of the DM just telling you that you failed/succeded (which is something you don't need to do on a GMod server) doesn't make it roleplay.
    How about instead of taking the dice rolling mechanic from D&D you take the personal character depth, world building and meaningful RP interactions from it instead.

    Hello peeps, some of you may know in the past I've suggested to make a player guide for new players so they can figure out how to play the server rather than them being absolutely clueless and it got denied, so I have volunteered and made this document for both new and old players to read about, it is mostly general knowledge for old players, but it's useful for the new ones.
    If you ever manage to find a player who doesn't know what to do, make sure to slap them with this.

    This doc will get updated every major update or when a GOI, rule etc. get added.
    Petition to also push this further into becoming an official guide and making it an auto message that pops up on the server.

    Short answer; Yes.
    Long answer: Eh, not really.
    The problem is that you're taking a pre existing map and editing it to fit your own needs. From my point of view, good on paper but annoying to do in practice. Correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm shit at map design, it takes more than just a few snips to make it work. In addition, I may be wrong on this part as well, if the orginal mapper doesn't want us to cut away at their map, then we'll be at square one looking for a new map. 
    I'm not entirely versed on editing pre existing maps and repackaging them as you're own. I know that theres 50 bigcity redesigns but those involve serious amount of redesign to the orginal map which makes it different. The same can be done here but we might as well make the map from the ground up.

    While this is undoubtedly a very nice map people need to understand that the current map is rooted in the way the server functions. The map has evolved with the server over what has been a 6-7 year time period, and is vital in the way the server works and plays. It isn't as simple as just changing the map and moving everything we have currently over, this map would mean:

    -Server would feel very empty at less than 40 players due to the map size
    -Surface GOIs/Civs/PD would have to be re-worked/removed entirely
    -Internal Departments would need to be re-worked (Not much point in HoEA/FA/Scout if there's nothing on surface)
    -Parts of the map will simply go unused due to the size (This happens on our already small map with 939/049)
    Now this is all fine if the playerbase is ok with it hence the community meeting on Saturday. But everyone needs to realise this will change the fundamentals of the server (Which I'm not opposed to) and large parts of the server will be gone, namely GOIs and surface. Surface will practically be gone entirely with the absolute focus being on internal Foundation RP. There'll be maybe 2 GOIs at absolute most (And that'd be Chaos Insurgency + 1 other), very little for civilians to do and probably no PD.

    By the title, I was like "Oh this is going to be an insta -1 huh?".  I was wrong.
     
    I downloaded this map for myself.  I will breakdown the map section by section, its fucking huge.
    To see an indepth breakdown, go to the other pages.
     
    My verdict is a +1, it will be a large task, but perfect for a new map (V7 confirmed)

     
     
     
     
    Surface:

    First, Gate A is probably the best ive ever seen in any SCP Foundation map.  It starts off with an checkpoint from the outside that has towers and defenses.  They also have an empty room and an interrogation area for those sweet war crimes.

    This is a perfect place for Nu-7, as it allows them to guard in a more open area (and not sit inside all day).  This is only the beginning.

    It leads into a garage, which has an elevator system that goes down into EZ (which ill get to in it's own section).  The gates can be controlled by Left and Right click respectively if you are accessing the camera system.
    If you follow the road, you can enter the village, which is 4 houses huddled together, with some lights around it.  For reference, below is what most of the houses look like inside, with minor variations.

    There are two more houses, one by a frozen river (which actually fucking slides you, the future is now) and one on a hill.
    Next is the bunker.  It has an entrance, and once you enter, it has 4 rooms.  These rooms consist of a bunker, an cell area, and an empty room.

    The rest of the map is land and forest, perfect for hiding, creating unique structures, or having fights in.
     
    How will this effect the surface?
    Firstly, it will be much less dense, and make you feel like you like in a rural area, with weird shit going on.  You will not always see people as its not a dense city.
    However, this has some kinks that would need to be fixed.
    First, the PD will definitely have to be either in the bunker or within a custom built building in the village.
    Second, spawn locations can be different for every group, as its such a large surface, a lot is possible.
    Civ models will likely have to be replaced, along with OCPD.
    Speaking of OCPD, the name will probably have to be changed.  I say something in the Oregon, as Site-64 is near Portland and this is Site-65, but this is just my opinion.
    Entrance Zone
    I will use only a few pictures here on out, as it would be too many pictures.
    The actual entrance to the entrance zone is after the Gate.  You enter a lobby by going down two elevators (that work well), with a desk that has another gate behind it.  This is honestly a really good looking lobby, enjoy the look from my ultrawide.
    After passing the lockdown gate, you enter the first floor of EZ.  I will list EZ floor by floor.
     
    Floor 1:
    Cafeteria
    Bathroom
    Storage Room
    Elevator (F2
     
    Floor 2:
    Medical Center
    Breach Shelter
    Glass Room (empty, can be turned into whatever)
    EZ/LCZ Checkpoint

    Floor 3 (Authorized Personnel Only, so probably CL4+, maybe Nu-7 and Security allowed in too idk)
    Electrical Center (Note: Each sector has their own and does the same thing for their own sector, except EZ, which has cams
    Bunks (fine for Nu-7 or something)
    Nuke Room (should be CL5 for obvious reasons)
    Server Room
    Meeting Room
    Office (Likely for O5s)
     
    Also, Omega Warhead and Alpha Warhead, for when killing everyone is the goal.

    Overall, it looks complicated, like much of the map, but is really simple if you explore.

    The title is self-explanatory
    457 must be the most cancerous, broken and hated thing on the server so in behalf of all the people I'll give a few reasons to why Xunt should Thanos snap him out of the server:
    1º- Impossible to ResearchRP with.
    Researching with 457 is completely impossible due to the fact that even getting close to him will kill you, it gets even worse when he gets bigger and some retards will just feed him furniture and in the end you get a battleship sized humanoid creature that can cook LCZ personnell for breakfast
     
    2º- Magical fire
    I believe the first time anyone tried to throw a D Class into 457 and see what happens wondered "Why the fuck am I on fire even tough I'm behind a literal wall of glass?" and that's what I don't understand, this reason can be linked with the previous one because sometimes 457 is so big that you simply cant go past the gate of his room, not to mention that it can burn people from the other side of a fucking solid steel gate.
     
    3º- Almost impossible to contain
    Currently the only ways of containing this thing is either wait for the automatic contaiment or to descrease his size enough, so I'll make a different paragraph for both ways:
    "Just wait for the automatic recontaiment bruh" -OOC guy, 2020
    Waiting for the automatic recontaiment isn't an option because not only it kills any "RP" that the contaiment units will have but also isn't realistic, also just locking it in LCZ is not a viable option because it will be a litteral hell to any players in there but also someone can just run to the HCZ/LCZ CP and open the door.
    "Just use the size reducer" -OOC guy, 2020
    The size reducer is the only other way to contain 457, however for the Size Reducer to work you have to be set on fire by 457, pretty bad right? It gets even worse when you consider that only E11 Containment Units and B-7 has it, also from what I've seen the speed at which it decreases is slow, "Just use the fire extinguisher bro" for that you'll need another person there not to mention that they cant be braindead or else you're fucked. My point is by the time containment units arrive it will be huge not to mention even if they decrease his size some retard will just shoot at it making it big again, the Size Reducer is an unreliable tool.
     
    4º- Atleast 90% of people hate it
    Asides from people who play it, no one likes it because it's a bitch to contain and will just annoy people in LCZ.

    5º- Sometimes 457 is too big to be breached
    It happend today, basically 457 was so big that he couldnt fit trough the door way.
     
    The Substitute
    If this gets denied I ask you our savior Xunt, please for the love of god make that its flames cant burn you trough solid matter, because it's really annoying.
    If this gets accepted it will either leave the CC empty or we will get another SCP, I have a few ideas:

    SCP-2075
    These are just a few ones that I found with a quick search, I'm not expecting them to be added as most likely someone will find a more interesting and easy to program SCP.

    Ever heard of Loopholing rules? Just because its forbidden to advertise, lets say, gmod servers, doesnt mean you can advertise websites or youtube channels, like that one feller did and got himself permabanned for advertising websites. I hate to say it, but this rule is very heavily enforced and we have to follow them.
    -1 for now. Still gotta wait for the staff who banned ya to reply so i can at least change my verdict accordingly.

    Re-add Magic

    Allow Pappy Plague to tell you a story about the past. Now, way back in V4 Nothing has this amazing system with this very SWEP. Every character within Nothing had a specific "Magic rank", allowing them access to stronger and stronger spells based on their level. The addon is incredibly neat too, and also has alot of customizability for custom magic, for devs and SMT alike!. The addition of this will also allow various other magical jobs to actually flourish and work.
     Sure, the addon is quite huge but it is definetly worth it, also see point 2.
     
     
     
     
    Remove drones
    I'm gonna be completely honest. When I suggested Drones Rewrite I expected all of the drones to be implemented, despite its large length. Instead we got an addon with multple missing entities, but remaining models, completely voiding the cutting of many of the entities??? Not to mention the fact that all of the Weapons from the cut Drones STILL remains, making it even MORE null. 
    Christ.
     
     
    Add MKEK AT to GOC 
    I don't know about you but the entire reason the rifle was even made in the first place was so GOC would have a counter against the unstoppable fucktrain that is the Construct. A quote from Houston should say enough in this case
    "You know, 3 GOC Orange suits with RPDs and shit, couldnt do fuckin shit to it"
    In this specific scenario, where I was a part of, I can attest to the fact that it's absolutely braindead how much health and how fast the construct can heal (No cooldown in healing, it's literally click as fast as you can, just bind mousewheel to attack1 and become invincible).
    Nobody uses the AT rifle, except the occasional Event Planner, now Event Manager that gives it out to random people if they ask for it, even now I would say it is perfectly balanced, with an unholstering time of about 30 seconds or so and a reload of 5 seconds.
