What is the role/task of a Site Director in your own words?
“noun: a person who is in charge of an activity, department, or organisation.” -Google.
In short, Site Directors are the ones responsible for a site. Simple right? How everyone interprets being responsible and having the role of a leader is up to each individual's personality and preferences. Some directors take a very much laid back approach, sitting in an office only giving occasional orders over comms, while others take a hands-on-deck approach putting the fire out by themselves.
As a director it should be a balance between the two, being able to delegate tasks and trust others whilst also not being disconnected from the reality of a workplace and having some resemblance of involvement.
    Past experience in leadership positions?
I was HoMD owner for some time, but that doesn’t count, it was more like being a kindergarten teacher trying to entertain a group of schoolchildren to not kill themselves from boredom. I have been in many whitelists in the past and don’t remember most of them, but have been like ECM, HoEA, O5, and other ranks. However I have had more leadership experience in the real world, having managed actual real people,  though since I don’t want my social security number and full legal name leaked I can’t name them.

Rate your RP Skills on a scale of 1-10: Very subjective, the server has been down for a long time so I haven’t had anywhere to RP. I would say I have grown as a person over that time however so probably I am better than I was in the past, maybe like a 7 or 8.
Rate your communication skills from 1-10: Once again, subjective and very much depending on who you are communicating with and in what situations and circumstances. Like a 7 or 8.
What do you expect to do while being apart of management if you are accepted?
Make SD great again? What do you think I expect to do? I know I will have to do spreadsheets, give opinions on applications, and deal with meetings. But that’s like basic pre-packaged manager stuff.
In all actuality I would like to make Site Director a more free and creative experience for the player, and force them to use that freedom, and do the things a manager is supposed to do. Too many times have I seen SD’s sit in EZ Big for HOURS doing nothing but tell Nu-7 to respond to a hack, why thank you Mr. Obvious cause everyone already knows due to the blaring beeping noise. They are called a DIRECTOR and they MANAGE a site for a reason, and most of the time, at least in the past, they would perform the bare minimum of the responsibilities such a title would offer. Make meetings, have inspections, change policies, enforce loyalty, fire people, start a witch hunt, now that O5’s are gone they can literally do anything on the site, and that is what I want to make sure they all realise.
What additional information would you like to share? I just started ranting and couldn’t stop.

People had fun with ISD, as someone who never played ISD, they had some pretty good uses, such as locating CI in the site, and just general watching of staff for any major (but sometimes minor) codex violations. While ISD could be very scuffed, if some rules were added, and they focused more on trying to blend in, I think it could work better than before.

Hi everyone, I'd like to start off by thanking all of you for taking your time to read my application and leave your thoughts, I am thankful of that. Moving on, I'd like to clear some things, I have regularly heard people say they are unaware of the name Jerry Martainski, this was a name only used when I first started and when managing Ethics Committee, my other names used while in Roleplay were codenames as a result of being in the O5 Council and Echo-14, my most common name was O5-4 and Crow-14, unfortunately these names do you assist you in identifying me, but at the time, that was the departments aim. I also seen someone asking what department I managed, in response to that, I managed the Ethics Committee when it was added along side with Director Dennis (Paxo) before I stepped down. In relation to the proof, Howling Rex has all that is needed within his DM's as we communicated with him directly. My missing roles is also a result of the change in forums, when I purchased my rank a very long time ago the community was still using Engine and not IPB, after the change in software I didn't bother claiming my forum tag back due to still having my In-Game rank (I did request them several months ago but was told to wait until release). My post count is also a direct result of the change in software, prior to the change I had already applied to the departments I wanted and held multiple whitelists thus resulting in no need for further applications. The issue regarding my playtime is a simple case of I do not know, over the years playtimes have been reset multiple times, I would accumulate several weeks of playtime before I'd be forced to take a break as stated in my application, upon returning several times I'd be greeted to a playtime of 0 seconds.

Zoom, I'm back (Tho I think a few will be sad to know that)

    Decision: +1
To start, I haven't been in game often for awhile, so this point actually means nothing. But Normally I'd try and see if I could recognise you from ingame, but since I haven't been on in awhile, I'll just go off the basis, that as long as people know you in a good light, you'll be likely to get people to listen to you. All that boring stuff.

So, your ingame time is perfect for trying to apply for SD, I believe that 4 weeks and above is the required time before applying for SD, mostly because you'll have experienced most of the jobs, and have a decent understanding on how each part works in tandem with each other. So this is a good start.

    Good reasons given.

This is somewhat repetitive from other applications, but you can't really deviate that much, so It's alright, Doesn't really matter overall.

Conclusion: So, I was actually going to respond to this a few days ago, but some issues happened. Overall the application is very good overall. I am sure you'll make a perfect fit as SD. Your past experience can be very useful as SD, so make sure you use it when making Decisions. good Job. 😄

More than one Sentence is required to get ANY application, keep that in mind for when you reapply or apply elsewhere.
Right off the bat, doing real well with a somewhat unknown name, I suggest getting more known to the wider community. That's honestly as much as I can give you, because it seems you don't care enough to fill out applications to the capacity most applications do. Don't expect me to be in much detail as you don't care that much, maybe I doubt you that much, but don't take it personally.
So, I don't need to say this, this is somewhat common, or should be common knowledge, Site Director is a very high ranking position on the Foundation team, you have power over all -most- foundation units, excluding O5 and some other departments in certain situations. you do not have the required time to even consider Site Director, as most who apply have been playing for around the 4 week mark in game time.  I am not commenting on your ability, on the most part, more so that you need to understand how the foundation - and more so the actual community use the roles- to be able to make the correct calls.

I have to fix this question a lot, the Past Experience is directed at the community, what roles have you had in the server, I can understand if you give experience on the many other servers such as NaziRP for Werewolf and I guess you'd be somewhat excused for the error, but this is not on you, I suggest, to reapply and gain experience Within the server, I suggest getting experience as HoS, SA, HoEA, ECM and I'd somewhat say CSB, they are good at the legal side of administration.  Now that doesn't mean you have to have them, just a recommendation on my part.

I mean you answered the question in a unique way, I give you points to that, better than the standard boring responses, but sometimes they are just the push you need to get accepted, this response is somewhat made with inexperience, since demoting anyone -which is not always possible- is a myth that people may have about Site Director, Site Directors do not rule with a iron fist, this way of keeping people in line is not enjoyable to anyone and I assure you if  you were accepted and I saw you do this, you would be removed from SD. Site Directors do not rule with a iron fist, at the end of the day, you should have the understanding and knowledge to guide units to resolve it, either by using CSB and or ECM.  However that isn't a rule, SDs can demote freely, just makes demotions faster  on the SDs end to hand it off.

This is an incorrect response of what the Site Director does, it might be a Lore reason -if that's your way of thinking- However, Site Directors do not have any control of how much units are paid, I will say that you are correct in saying Site Directors do make sure people do the jobs they are required to do, however then you go back to being incorrect with Department budgets? I understand that a joke like this -which I and a few do sometimes- without context can give you that idea, however Site Directors don't deal with budgets.
I... Actually don't know what to say, Maybe this is from somewhere I haven't read or something, but I have never heard of a Administrative (administration?) Assembly, however on the server no such thing exists. O5 have the authority to command all foundation units -excluding other O5 - and sometimes do pass votes, however not laws, laws are dictated elsewhere. This does confuse me a lot as it doesn't really answer the question, more so give a brief fact and not move on.

I really can't be asked to do a conclusion. Let's be honest, all the information is said above. I am somewhat free to answer questions if you have any, but don't hold what I say as the gospel. (Christ I love writing massive text that won't be seen by anyone D:) I will state that Site Director does not have a Trial period, once you are a Site Director, you are a fully fledged one, of course, if you are unsuitable for the position it doesn't stop you being removed.

I think everything above just proves how well known you are, and how Annoying well liked you are. But, I think you've ticked the first box, in Fixers mysterious requirements that are hidden better than the KFC recipe. Being known to the community, more so the foundation side of the community -so most- is key when playing and or applying for Director. Congratulations on being known.

So, I am amazed to finally see a application with the hours I think will have given you the experience to actually be Site Director. Now, don't get me wrong, It can be boring, but you have an understanding -even if you don't realise it- of how the positions within the foundation work together. You will need this when being Site Director. (I will go into detail more later in the response Maybe?)
Alright, your WLs you have held or currently hold, as HoEA and E-11 Commander show that you are capable of management positions and being able to command units, In the structure of things, I will start of with the highest ranking WL you hold currently; HoEA. Having HoEA as experience for a Site Director application, is very, very important, in more ways than one, HoEA is more dangerious and more risky than Site Director, now, don't get me wrong, you will have some risk when being Site Director, however compared to HoEA, Site Directors normally, NORMALLY, are not involved in situations which could be risky to them. However, unlike HoEA, you now have to run a site of different people, with different jobs, which comes to the main problem site directors have, making sure the site is actully running correctly. I'll say it now, being Site Director, isn't normally fun on it's own, however if you are with people, it can be very enjoyable. If you are on Site Director, your goal is to make sure, as simply as possible, Department heads are at least doing something to keep things running. Class-D keep getting out? talk to HoS, etc. You will deal  with a wide verity of HoS's, from very good ones, to the worst of the worst, power hungry kids.
Your work as an E-11 Commander does come in useful for the Site Director position,  as someone who deals with a small team of players, mostly containing SCPS, you need to understand how containment procedures are, and what needs to happen if things go south, being able to assist Containment Commanders (clearly E-11 Commander) in making sure containment is regained. In the event, that a Site Evacuation needs to be preformed, you will, most likely, having people evacuating at different times, that means you will have at best, 4 MTF escorting you to the surface, this is where your skills as Commander comes in, you will now have to make decisions that affect yourself and them. (Nothing big and very rare, but eh)

This speaks for itself, I honestly have no problems with it, as with this application as a whole, I think it is very well done, for the WL, and I am happy that for once in awhile, we have an application that won't be flatout denied for copied answers, or unique answers.  (And it means Fixer has to read this, so, more work for him. <3)
Eh, nothing really to say, it's correct. A bit samey with other applications but that's not on you, more so the question than the response.

Same as the above, but, more so to make sure Site Directors are being chosen that actually understand the structure, rather than making something unique. So congrats, you got the question right. Have a Gold Star.
